Centerville is a city nestled between the Rocky Mountains and Farmington Bay. The city is suburban with magnificent views of mountainous terrain. Centerville is a prime location for outdoor adventure with six parks (all of which have free Wi-Fi) and over 30 miles of trails with some leading into the mountains. Trek the pathways of Deuel Creek South Trail Head to uncover numerous waterfalls and other natural beauties. This trail, similar to a few other Centerville paths, is kid and dog friendly. Schedule a tour of the Great Salt Lake, a body of water that is so salty people can’t sink in it!
The community gathers at the Whitaker Museum which hosts events for holidays and features a community garden and honey bee colony. Centerville is only 20 minutes from Salt Lake City giving easy access to major attractions. Take a trip to Hogle Zoo or the Natural Museum of Utah. Centerville is only 30 minutes away from University of Utah, making it a great location for commuters.

Property Ratings at Legacy Crossing
I would do 0 stars if I could. They over charged my last month's rent after promising me over the phone that I would not have to pay any extra.

We want to talk to the property manager to see if we can put the rest of our lease on the market. And we’ve lived here for three months. The management constantly makes promises they can’t keep, showing not only how completely incompetent they are, but how willing they are to take your money, people done pick up after their dogs, the walls here are extremely thin, and no one here has the common decency to turn down their music. We are living next to people who play bass pounding music until 12 a.m. and nothing has been done. Oh. And the BUGS!!! I’m wiping down the counters and walls every day. I’m sweeping, vacuuming and mopping everyday, but we still have hoards of bugs COMING OUT OF THE WALLS!!!!! And when I told management, all that was said was, “Well you live on the bottom floor, so…” so it’s up to the tenants to be an exterminator? Living here is a nightmare. I’ve had friends who have lived here, and they all hated it. The best thing about this place is the location. But that’s it. Management is constantly changing. There are new people every other month. And that’s disturbing. This management company squeezes you for every cent they can get. Block their number when you move.

I wrote a lengthy 1000-word review of this place after living there for 5 years, but, before posting it I read some of the others and it’s all been said. While I might post it later, I think enough has been said about the lacking management & maintenance staff, and messy & disrespectful tenants, which I can attest to, and fully agree with. I will however say this, I left the property in March 2019 and finally in August, 143 days later, I’m done and got my refund check cashed. It should have only taken 30 days per their own paperwork. That is not opinion but a mathematical fact, that took way more effort than it should have.

We are sorry to know that your experience at Legacy Crossing was less than great. I wish we had the time to meet you. I know that you know longer live here but if you would like to call to share how we can improve that we be appreciated. Thank You, Management
So it's fully handicapped accessible. Elevator, wide doorways, easy access, etc. We kind of grew out of the place we're in, so we went to Management about upgrading to a 2 bedroom and no joke- Summer, the manager set it up right then! I was thinking there would be a process, but no- she set it all up right then and there for us. I am so grateful to live in a place where the managers and staff listen to you and work with you. She's a gem! Derek is a gold star as well! I feel very confident in their abilities and I love calling this place home!! If you're looking for somewhere better, come here. They take great care of us! I'm difficult too. I require a lot- I'm high maintenance. They have been accommodating for parking (somewhere close for my walker and wheelchair) and they have work orders completed in less than 2 hours! I'm always amazed at the results I get here. No joke, when you come here- you come home. <3
This new management is so unorganized. They never open the office on time and close it early. When the new management took over they took away online bill pay (which was very convenient when you work during the hours they are open) that I have been using for four years. When I went to see what my total rent bill would be this month, the lady couldn't tell me and was very patronizing, telling me that I need to keep a hold of my papers. This company is getting ridiculous. When I move out and there are hidden fees, I will be getting my lawyer involved.

We're truly sorry to hear about your experience. We acknowledge the disruptions caused by the new management transition and we apologize for any inconveniences related to office hours and bill payments. We are working hard to rectify these issues and assure you of improved services going forward.
I have been saving my judgement of this place until enough time has passed and after 1.5 years I feel I can accurately review this place. There has been gaping holes in the siding of the apartment building B for as long as we have lived here. Water pressure in the buildings here is a joke in the kitchen but in the bathroom flows like Niagra Falls. Common area hallways smell horrible. Carpets are cleaned maybe once a year. Hot tub is constantly undergoing maintenance, also half the jets don’t even work. The place in the summertime looks like a frat house with beer and people dragging their bbq’s into the pool area and leaving their glass bottles everywhere. Not to mention taking up the whole pool for playing games throwing balls into nets preventing children from enjoying their pool time. Management said nothing as it continued. On the northeast corner of the buildings someone constantly dumps their dog bags and garbage bags on the corner they sit there for weeks, which means maintenance doesn’t come by to pick it up. During the summer months, huge mud puddles which attracts bees of all kinds. You can’t even walk through that area for fear of being stung. And it’s right next to the office, go figure. Bees nests and hornets nests are prevalent and it takes maintenance a long time to take care of them. Here is a list of some of the extra fees you have to pay. Internet-$60 (shoddy and slow service. They also put the plug for service in the corner of the house and most routers won’t even get a signal to the opposite end of the apartment) Telephone-$14 (who has a land line anymore?) Cable TV- $15 (you still have to pay for receivers through directv so budget an extra $40 to have any TV at all) Real Estate Taxes- $6 (the only place I know of that passes this through to the tenant) Trash- $8.50 Sewer- $11.70 Statement Fee- $6.50 for a little postcard to be sent to your apartment that only includes water sewer and trash services, it doesn’t include rent or other fees added on, so it’s still a mystery what the full rent is until it gets posted online the first of the month. Setup Fee- $25.00 to have the “account” setup for your little postcard that is absolutely worthless. Pay by internet fee- $2.95 If you have a Dog, $35/month plus a $400 deposit. Management had the opportunity to make this right, and they didn’t. It’s been long enough.
Short version: Utah law says it's illegal to take money from a deposit to pay for cleaning/wear and tear damages. So this complex (and many others owned by AMC) don't charge a deposit, and then directly charge you for cleaning/wear and tear damages when you move out. Through a series of emails where I contested the charges the apartment manager admitted that if I had been charged a deposit they wouldn't be charging those fees but because there was no deposit they said they were completely justified. And I also flat out caught their employees lying to me in regards to those "damages". I had my exit walk through in which the employee explicitly mentioned that the walls showed no damages, then they tried to charge me painting fees for damaged walls. I insisted they show me where the damages were, and explain why their own employee said there were no damages, they refused to provide any proof of damages, and they couldn't even tell me WHERE the alleged damages were. They threatened to send me to collections, I threatened to sue, then they dropped the damage fees. SHADY, if they were willing to admit to things like this in emails you know they will say anything to get your money, AVOID AMC OWNED PROPERTIES! Other issues: frequent internet issues which they cannot help with (farmed out IT support who is never available) Multiple packages stolen from front door, complex dragged their feet and said they had no plans to increase security Rent increased significantly year over year, when I complained they said they were in line with other complexes and gave me a helpful list. Then didn't mention that the other complexes they were "in line with" were all AMC owned properties also, so of COURSE they all increased rent a similar amount.
Penny pinchers. We paid rent in full for the month of August. We then got a notice that we owed 9 cents. We tried to pay the 9 cents in cash, they declined and said they do not accept cash. So the only other payment method was checks. I will not write out a check for 9 cents. The check is worth more than 9 cents. Factor in the paper that they used to create the document and the man power to process the notice. This place is ridiculous.

We're sincerely sorry for the inconvenience caused due to our payment policy. We understand that getting a bill for such a tiny amount may seem unnecessary, and we appreciate your willingness to settle it. Going forward, we'll ensure to provide a more reasonable approach in such situations. Thank you for your feedback!
We have lived here now since October 2015 and no complaints at all! Very quiet, very clean, respectful neighbors and the community is very clean and well maintained :)I've never been fined for anything ... I'm assuming other people are doing things to be fined for. The leasing office is very nice and everyone is very sweet and accommodating. It's walking distance from the movie theater and across the bridge is shopping, restaurants and markets I love living here!
Very nice location, and quiet! The apartment is top notch, and beautiful! Only one down side is one park space, but there is plenty of space nearby.
Poor construction, poor maintenance, hot tub broken 25% of the time, managers constantly looking for ways to fine you. This place has not been an enjoyable experience. And there is this seriously strange culture of tattle-tales here. People are always talking about this person does this and that person does that and they report everything to the office. It's like Jr. High for adults. Finally the biannual inspections to make sure we are all being good little girls and boys. Give me a break Principal Belding Look at all the other reviews for Legacy Crossing then do yourself a huge favor and look elsewhere.

We love where we live now , it's so quiet and everyone is friendly. The amenities are all new and work great! The place was spotless when we moved in as well. Way more space for storage and the flooring and bathrooms are easy to clean. Overall very happy with where we are at.
Poorly built, poorly maintained. Hot tub is broken 25% of the time. Management always looking for a way to fine you. Neighbors always looking to get you in trouble. This place is awful. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
