Property Ratings at Legacy Lake Vista
My wife and I just moved here about a month ago and we absolutely LOVE it! The staff are so friendly and helpful. This place feels like a resort! We love how walkable the community is and how safe it feels. The location is perfect for us as we still work in Miami, we are only 30 minutes away. This place doesn't just a feel like an apartment, but it feels like a community.
I’ve been living here for a really long time, at first it was good and I liked this place but right know for the money you have to pay here is not worth it, you can find somewhere else to live way more better than this condominium. The garbage is always full, the people that they are now accepting is not the best. The elevator sometimes get stuck, the AC is old and it doesn’t work to much.the gate door it’s a mission to open…, today I had to call because is frozen, it’s not the first time, and I know it’s a holiday but it’s an emergency , let’s be real it’s not nice to live here in Florida without the AC, and specially today when it’s like 96f outside and my house it’s really hot, they put a phone number for emergency maintenance and I called but they didn’t help me that much, the only solution they gave was to turn it off which we did since yesterday in the morning and still is frozen, this place is old and the AC needs to be replaced. To charge you they are always fast but when you need them to fix something for you it takes forever
This place is one of the worst complex in miramar. The staffs are nice enough to move you in and thats it. I moved into my place and not even a month in. I experienced mold and condensation all in my appartment. It took me to complain several times.. not to mention i and my child was sick behind it. The office barely cared to have my unit inspected for the problem. Instead the put a machinery in my place for days saying it was supposed to clear moisture in the air to fix the mold problem. Not to mention my values also have mold on them and they didn’t even say anything about replacing it, when we were forced to pay renters insurance!! Only thing is nice is the leasing office. Which im sure is worth way more than the entire complex. Its a complete throw off. I would rather stay in the rent office before i pay rent to stay in my own unit. I never been so upset about something nor never was the type to write a review on a business. But im truly fed up with this place and so eager to move the hell out. Lake vista is not a place to call home. Its really poor service here. Cant wait till my lease is up. (Need new management asap)

I want to start by saying THANK YOU for your patience!! She worked hard to help me get the apartment I was dreaming of! There was a hiccup on moving day with the company not coming through with my order...but Linda pulled through ! We also had an issue with the hot water not staying hot for long, she wasted no time to request maintenance. Her personality is amazing! She made sure I was happy with EVERYTHING for my first apartment!!
Property Manager at Legacy Lake Vista, Responded To This Review
Thanks for leaving a review, and mentioning your experience with Linda. We think she is amazing too and are glad to hear you feel the same!
I lived her at Lake Vista apartments for just a week now. The apartment is a 1/1 nice lay out. But the walls are very very thin. I can here everything that’s going on above my apartment, when the tenant above runs their shower it sounds as if the water is going to drop through the ceiling. There’s a loud sound from the A/C unit then there’s a noise that thumps my front door when the elevator stops or go not sure which one it is. When the upstairs neighbor open or closes their sliding glass door you here it so loud inside your apartment. I mean it’s terrible, the noise!!! Like I said the appearance is nice but because of the noise I will not renew my lease.
sale of drugs in playground mistreatment of the staff towards the tenants, if one claims they tow the vehicle there is no washing machine inside always dirty pools very expensive for what it offers Dirty hallways and elevator and always damaged gate always damaged any kind of people enter here, very little security
Let me just say, if you move here, you better have a lot of patience. I've been here two years now and in that time, the property was sold and new management took over. Overall the appearance isn't bad, but once you move in, you see all the negative things. The trash is top of the list, because for the past two years it's been overflowing onto the street, every single night. If your neighbor has their surround sound on, you'll hear and feel it in your apartment. Don't complain either, cause nothing is done about it. The office rarely answers the phone, so good luck with that. You have to pay annually to park on the property, for each vehicle you own. If you have guests, then you have to register their vehicle as well, or it'll be towed away (understandable). I just don't understand why on top of rent, you also have to pay to park. The pool has a lot of people from other properties coming to it, so expect that. The only reason we're still here, is because of the lease and we also moved from NY, so needed a place asap. The manager is not very helpful at all and neither are most of the other associates in the office, although it may seem so when you're here to look at apartments. On of the workers scratched my car, because they used to park the golf carts in regular parking spots and something was sticking out the back of it, that's scratched the car. I took pictures and went to the office. The manager took my information and said she'd look into it, a month later I went back and there was someone from the main office. She told me I needed a police report in order for them to do anything. They put in new gates, that closes 10 to 15 secs after you go through, so other cars always just tailgate (what's the point). Just be prepared if you decide to move here after reading this, because you've been warned.
I was lock out my apartment and I lost my key to the mail .she open my mail box and she even inform the cost of each key with a money order.she excellent she even put in the maintenance request for me.great customer service
This morning I woke up to find that the water in the buildings have been shut off. I called the leasing office to inquire on why the water is off. The person who answered the phone said that the main water line was shut off for repairs and that I should have received an email. However, no email was sent! In the past, they have put notices on every ones doors advising us of projects before the work is started. Not sure why this situation was not given proper notification. This place has tremendously gone down!!! My advice please do not make the same mistake I have made in making this your home!
CFH (Lake Vista) took over the property about 6 months ago... while they do have good intentions on bringing the value of the property up, they also have a total disregard on the residents on doing it. Contractors show up at anytime of the day (7 days a week). They bang and drill all through out the day, as they renovate each apartment that becomes vacant, its almost none stop since this complex has lots of vacant units. Now i know why! Management wont enforce rules on contractors, so they are free to work at whatever time they want. Management wont return calls or emails after you signed your lease. Making it impossible for them not bang and drill at 7am as you sleep. Wont recommend living here. You have no voice as a resident. Their only concern is closing on leases and renovating old units by any means necessary.
My apartment is very small and has a very rusty and filthy carpet in the living room and bedrooms. It has two bedrooms and in one of the rooms, there is no bed and half of the carpet is torn off because of how dirty it was.
The area is convenient to well known restaurants, shopping areas and has the finest school district. The apartments are cozy, the staff are friendly and helpful.
I moved in to the Ashlar with a whole day to look for a new apartment after accepting a new position in South Florida. The inside of the apartments are nice. They are roomy and the cost is good. However a few things to be warned about -10% of residents are low income which they don't tell you until they lease it (While this may sound like a stereotype, Live here and see what I mean) -The trash on one side always sits on the road. People don't make the dumpster and the bags are the ripped open by stray cats and ducks and rummaged through. You will have a trash pile in your parking lot every night -I have lived here almost 3 months and the gate has worked 2 days Overall its just poor management. If you move here just understand what you are getting into.
The apartments are expensive with no good amenities and its not worth the money. I wish I had really follow the reviews and not rent here because all that the reviews said about this apartment is true. No washer and dryer in the apartments unless u have a three bedroom and the laundry is filty with burn out dryers that I know can't be good. The equipments are old and black even rusty. I really can't wait for my lease to be up.
I like this place so beautiful and i love it apartment with 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom very nice inside big room and space whole also love it view to see pool next right there in Balcony. its Excellent! Seriously.
Well I must say the 2 bedroom 2 full bathrooms here is in first of all a great location. Police and fire department are about 10 minutes away. So close to auto places, grocery stores, Walmart, the mall, and only half hour from the beach. Neighbors are friendly which is great and a must for me. Now for the interior, every room including the kitchen feels very spacious, allowing enough area to play with. All in all in very fortunate to find a place where I planned for 2 years, but, have decide to stay a little while longer.
