Tucked into the mountains in the middle of the Coconino National Forest, Flagstaff encompasses everything fascinating about Arizona. It is in the shadow of the state's tallest mountain -- Humphreys Peak, and it is home to the Arizona Snowbowl Ski Resort. It is also near the Wupatki National Monument, Walnut Canyon National Monument, Meteor Crater, and Grand Canyon National Park. But while the outdoor adventures in Flagstaff range from hiking and mountain biking to snow skiing and snowboarding, this isn't just a resort city -- Flagstaff is home to Northern Arizona University, a top-ranked, public research university established in 1899.
Being home to one of the world's best universities is just the beginning. Flagstaff is also the location of the Lowell Observatory, one of the oldest observatories in the country, dating back to 1894. Considered one of the world's most important places, the observatory was where Pluto was discovered in 1930.

Property Ratings at Legacy Pines
Nearby many trails, next to no train/freeway noise (hard to find that in Flagstaff), dog friendly, super clean, very nice staff, clean grounds, dog park, across the street from a city park, non-thru streets (quiet street traffic), extra street parking if you need, what else do you want? Highly recommend.

Thank you so much for the review! Knowing that you have such positive things to say about our community's accessibility, upkeep, and amenities definitely motivates us to work even harder to ensure residents have everything they need or want in an apartment home.
Renew Flagstaff is a wonderful place to live! The residents are friendly and the staff is very responsive. As units become vacant, they are being renovated, so they are just like new. Joshua and Al do a great job in keeping the place immaculate; and Sherry is a terrific manager. It is simply a great place to live.

Living here has been mostly positive. My girlfriend and I enjoy the neighborhood and the new management has been making strides to improve the overall living experience. Any time we have had issues, they are promptly dealt with. The apartment does lack some more modern features, and the appearance can seem a little dated, but it is an old building and that is to be expected. All in all, we have been quite satisfied living here.

My boyfriend and I just renewed our lease for the second time this May. Over the past two years we have enjoyed living in this apartment complex. The two main pros for us are location (we enjoy going on walks and there are many different routes/trails to take off on from this area) and price. Unfortunately, the property can appear dirty on the outside since clean patios are not enforced. In addition, we are the only tenants on our floor and sadly it has been like we are living in a construction zone due to renovations of the other two empty apartments. I understand this is not the biggest problem but it would be nice for the workers to respect the space and clean up after themselves as we DO still live here and pay money for a clean common area. Management has changed several times but the newest management seems to be doing a good job renovating and beginning to maintain the property.
