Property Ratings at Legacy Pointe at Poindexter Apartments
DO NOT LIVE HERE! Moved in July 2023 with a long list of things that needed fixed/replaced a ton og which were supposed to be taken care of before we moves in but clearly they weren't... it's JUNE 2024 and nothing has been fixed STILL. No matter how many times i put in lrders or go to the office because they dont answer phones they never do anything. Now that I'm upset and I don't want to talk calmly cause ive been speaking calmly and that got me nowhere for a YEAR they want to rush me out of work to fix what they should've been fixed A YEAR AGO. Maintenance told me today after I told them I was at work "nah we can't reschedule we maintance we need to get this stuff done." Like huh?? So I said ok let me call my roommate and see if he's home.... the man has been giving me his voice-mail since it's literally only been 5 maybe 6 minutes. When they schedule a time with you to fix stuff they NEVER come but when you're not expecting them they expect you to just be home?? It's their time or your S.O.L. Bathroom has water damage which is causing mold, eletric in my kitchen doesn't work properly, my AC machine floods my laundry room then the filters just floating around in water which can cause mold in our air vents but they dont care, dishwasher is moldy and stinks but they won't replace that 'it's gon cost you' is what the mainatance man said. All my blinds have roach excrement on them and I was told they'd be replaced never got replaced and when I mentioned it to mainatance he said 'it's gon cost you... how long you been living here? Yeah it's gon cost you.' Like yall aren't the reason it's been so long. I could literally go on and on and on about this place but the 1 star being so close to 100% should say enough.
I moved into a 2 BR, 1 BATH apartment in September 2019. While the process to get into the apartment here was frustrating, the people at the office were very accommodating and understanding of the process. When I finally moved into my apartment, some of the blinds were broken, my washer and dryer wasn’t working, the dishwasher was slightly dirty, and some cabinets were crooked. Maintenance did take their time to fix the problems, but they did eventually fix them (some of them). Overall, the apartments are great and look super nice. I especially love the patio! The neighborhood is usually quiet, save for a few loud neighbors and ambulances passing through at night. So, give Legacy Pointe at Poindexter a try, they might surprise you! :)
I am unsatisfied with the way the treat their tenants. Units look nice externally as they are brand new property. Once you go in, you will see all sorts of apartment related issues - non working A/C, leaks, sluggish maintenance and the list goes on. Would not recommend. I can't wait to get out of here.

I moved into one of the newly built 3 BR townhouses May of 2018 with 2 roommates. The leasing office was super accommodating during the move in process, though many of the people that worked there when we moved in are no longer there. Pros: Great price -Close to downtown -Leasing office very friendly -Pet rent/fee very reasonable -Up and coming location -Only utility you're responsible for is electric -washer/dryer in unit -Maintenance responsive and punctual -Tons of natural light -application process very easy Cons: -Walls are extremely thin, we have families on either side of us and are able to hear them throughout the day. Additionally, we can also hear everything that goes on outside, including conversations on the sidewalk/in the parking lot and construction behind the units. -Poorly insulated, front and back doors allow substantial draft through the sides, resulting in high electric bill in the winter and very cold downstairs. You can literally see light come in through the sides of the front and back doors from the outside. Brought this up to the leasing office during the polar vortex and was met with "You're gonna be feeling cold air come from places you wouldn't normally." -Parking lot gates often break and as a result remain open 24/7 -Alleged parcel locker service, however even though we signed up our packages are still dropped off at our front door. Nothing's been stolen yet though.
