The University of Tennessee is undeniably the focal point of Knoxville, and the school’s orange and white motif is everywhere. Largely thanks to the big student population, Knoxville’s nightlife scene is among the best in the region. Traditionally, the bars and restaurants along Cumberland Avenue - or "The Strip" – have been the preferred night spots in town; while The Strip remains popular, redevelopment in downtown and in the Old City has spread out the after-hours revelry. With so many students in the mix, the local rental market is packed with affordable options as well, so it’s easy to find a budget-friendly house, condo, or apartment just about anywhere in town.
But the city is much more than your typical college town, offering a charming environment surrounded by gorgeous hills and forests, with a generous helping of Southern personality. If boating is your thing, join famous Tennessee Vol Navy as they cruise the river behind Neyland Stadium on game days.

Property Ratings at Legacy Pointe
I have really enjoyed living here for the past 7 months. Maintenance is quick to respond, people respect the shared spaces (pool, gym, dog park, yard/walking areas), and the office personnel are very friendly and helpful. I haven’t had any problems with anyone since moving in. I work remotely (always home) and don’t have any complaints of loud neighbors or dogs barking all day either. It’s a cute and quiet place to live, plus I feel safe here as a single female. There weren’t a lot of visitor parking spots, but the office personnel has tried to resolve this by issuing visitor passes now. This is nice, as it prioritizes the parking availability for the residents and gives more options for visitors instead of having just a few designated spots. If I go out in the afternoon and return late, I can always park pretty close to my apartment building as well. I haven’t had a scenario where I couldn’t find parking near my home, which I really appreciate. Overall a great place to live.

We just moved into our apartment and Lauren was exceptional from the time we toured and beyond! She has been sure to keep us informed of any updates or changes. When we moved in there were some maintenance items that needed attention and she was understanding in the matter and made sure it was taken care of immediately. If you're looking for a place with great customer service and amenities, look no further!

I’ve lived here for a year now and I love it! It’s a 12-15 minute drive to UTK and is near a lot of restaurants and stores. The amenities are nice and the apartments are a good price for the space. The complex feels safe and the management and maintenance are helpful. They recently changed the visitor parking situation to where you can go in during open hours to get a pass instead of only having a few spots. The pool is great, although it would be nice to have a few more chairs! Overall a great place.

We've renewed our lease for another year! Grounds and interior are very well kept. Pet friendly! Pool, gym, and clubhouse are a nice bonus. Maintenance, management, and office staff are very responsive. There's a bus stop at the entrance for Karns schools. The only downside is there are only 9 visitor parking spots. We get around this by having our guests park at one of the businesses down the road and shuttling them back to our apartment. We've really enjoyed living here and tell everyone they should come be our neighbors!

Thank you for being a valued part of our community.
I moved here May '22 and a yr later I still love my apt. It's quiet & feels like you're living away from the city even though everything you need is just down the road. Staff is always friendly & maint is quick to respond to any issues! I do wish they had a community board where we could interact with neighbors and have meet ups!

Feels like home as soon as you tour with one of the lovely office ladies. When it came time for us to move in, we were so excited. The apartment had been updated which was nice and it was very clean..just ready for us to call it home. We have had great service from the maintenance team and our neighbors are friendly.

I've lived at a few complexes in Knoxville and Legacy has topped them all. The apartments are older, but they are HUGE. All of the office staff is super helpful and sweet and maintenance has always addressed my issues quickly. Very happy with my choice to live here!
I love legacy! My apartment is so homey and spacious. Great location and good price.
We love living here! The maintenance and office team are always very helpful, courteous, and professional when speaking to us or letting the community know what is going on. We definitely recommend Legacy Pointe!
Parking is horrible. No assigned parking. They expect your guests to park at the bottom of the hill and walk to the top. Communications from management are always passive aggressive.

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, and wonderful community!
I just wanted to express my Extreme appreciation and gratitude for how wonderfully Vic did on our work orders! He went above & beyond and gave 110%!!! I was so excited and happy!!! You should be so proud to have a maintenance employee that goes above and beyond! He completed all my work orders on my list of like 10 things lol. We are so blessed to live here. You all do a fantastic job in the office notifying us of food trucks & updates going on in the community etc... We have been here going on 4 years now & always tell friends/family how we love this place! The grounds are well kept, nice amenities, caring staff, You get a lot of bang for your buck especually as the location is in North Knoxville vs. West Knoxville, cheaper cost of living by $200 vs. what you would pay in West Knoxville/Farragut! Thanks Again Vic and Legacy Pointe Staff!!! Your Happy Residents Jean & Rich!

AH your review has made us so happy! Thank you so so much. We love having you all. :)
Parking sucks. Not enough spots for even the residents, if you park where you need to to be close to your apartment you get a boot on your car. If you dont you have to park 10 min walk from your own apartment. Terrible

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave us a review! Please keep in mind, no one is ever promised a parking spot right in front of their building, especially when we are 100% full, however the other buildings are very close together and have available spots to park at and are not 10 minute walks from one another. If you'd like us to help you find a spot, please contact us! Thanks!
These were the nicest apartments I've lived in. I needed a short term arrangement while I shopped for a house in the area and I'm glad I ended up staying here. The staff was always nice and helpful when I had an issue. The downstairs neighbors did complain once that our little girls made too much noise when running around, so I would recommend the lowest floor if you have high energy little ones. Also note that if you live far up the hill like we did then you may have to make occasional trips in your car to check on mail and drop off garbage.

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to leave us a review! We are so happy to hear you loved your stay with us!!
Staff is very friendly, the grounds are well kept, and the apartments are so spacious!
My experience at Legacy Pointe has caused me to never want to rent again. The walls are so thin that a good night sleep is few and far between. Our apartment smelled extremely strong of pet urine. When management was contacted they insisted the carpets were cleaned and there was nothing they could do about it. Parking couldn't be more inconvienent. I've never seen so many dog poops littering a grassy area. One positive is that we had an eight month lease and got out as quick as we could.
It's a very good apartment. I like the salt water pool. It could use more activies. I think the monthly rent is a little high though. Over well, it's a nice place to live.
It's a good place to in live Knoxville area. It close to Walmart and other grocery store as well as a number of restaurants in the area. Highway/interstate access isn't far away and the downtown area are very accessible. The parking near the pool area can be very crowded on the weekends. The apartments are very spacious with friendly office staff. The office staff host many activities such as UT football watch parties and a farmer market. It's a great place for me because it is very easy to travel to work.
My husband and I love our apartment. It's at the top of the hill and our view is fantastic. The pool is great and the 24hr fitness room is nice. The pool can be a bit crowded and sometimes parking is a pain as there are only enough spaces for 2 cars/unit. Other than that, the apartments have great floor plans, high ceilings and lots of space. Very nice kept lawns and maintenance issues are always dealt with in a very timely manner.
All my life, I've tried to do the right thing. Since being widowed at 33 and raising 2 great kids. I moved into Legacy Pointe in 2011. I loved the location and the apartment. The office was friendly and helpful. I had to move in 2013. When I returned in 2014, I looked at many apartments, but still chose Legacy Pointe. That says a lot about Apartments. I am still there. Thanks, Lora
