Maintenance never fixes your issues. You go online and request maintenance services, they send you an email but no one never comes by to fix the maintenance issue. The laundry room stays dirty and the front security gate is always broken. Raw sewage spills between buildings and roach infested. Management do not want to communicate with the tenants. Please stay away!!! This place sucks!!!

Don't let these fake reviews fool you, this apartment complex is trash, and any bad reviews that you have read it would behoove you to believe them! This apartment is what I would call crap on earth, between the lazy, rude, argumentative management, the bad crime, ignorant and inconsiderate neighbors, the raggedy roads and oh you can't forget the wonderful roaches you get greeted with everyday, you would be better off staying far away from here. You will pay for pest control and the pest will not be controlled. You will be putting in request for repairs and the maintenance will not show or fix anything.These apartments are uninhabitable, and need to be torn down and rebuilt, because they are literally falling apart, there are holes and lifted walls all through my apartment. Thank the lord my lease is almost up, never again.

I really hate the new management. Since some renters never paid their rent during 2020, the new leases are adding over $200 to the rent to cover their losses. Furthermore, the maintenance crew will send you an email saying that the work you asked to be done was finished even though they never came to fix it! I have been asking for my tub to be resurfaced for 3 years and still nobody has come. I call the leasing office about it and my goodness, they are extremely rude. Stay away or the pot holes all around the complex will get you and your car!

I’ve lived here about 7 months and this has been the worse experience ever! My apartment is INFESTED WITH ROACHES. I’ve had the apartment fumigated SEVERAL TIMES and they are still taking over. I am very clean person this should not be happening. All my new furniture is ruined and I will not be able to take it anywhere else because of the infestation. My living room ceiling was on the verge of falling in and I had to threaten to end my lease to get anything done about it. They came and did patch work and did not paint so it looks very tacky and because maintenance is so behind repairs do not get done YET they check them off in the renters portal as completed. I’ve needed a new bathroom door since I’ve moved in there are screws sticking out that can rip my skin open at any time. They want you to send over your insurance declarations every six months or they will tac a extra $35 onto your rent until you send it over. Which I think is very poor management on their end. I have never heard of this process you usually have to send it every year. There are pot holes all over the complex YOU WILL TEAR YOUR CAR UP! Construction has been going on since I’ve moved in and there is no end in sight. All in all, TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE. Only good thing is the police presence but that’s only because the crime rate was so horrible once upon a time they had no choice but to have police out there 24/7. If I could give this apartment complex 0 stars I would & I sincerely urge you to find somewhere else if you are looking. Do not make the same mistakes I did trying to rush.

I’m a Attendent here at legacy at Riverdale I’ve been living here going on 2 yrs I’ve been under Rebecca Management now 6 yrs I’ve lived at the THE LEGACY for 4 yrs I said all that to say this management has a heart of gold they are a community that go out of there way to help you help them anytime I’ve had a Maintenance issue they responded quickly I’ve saved on gas money because of the shuttle overall I’ve recommended coworkers & all I get back is positive feed Back very Convenient especially if you work for the airlines Just want to say thank you so very much for all the legacy staff does BIG BIG thanks to Nicole you guys keep up the good Excellent work all the positive that you guys do goes Unnoticed my Experience with legacy I must say I’ve felt safe I’ve saved money & overall the staff me feel like they care god bless you all ??????????
I think these apartments is better than any other apartments I have lived in when I moved over here everyone was so helpful to me and my kids I love the environment and the quietiness they have and will always say if you have a issue come to the office and address it with them because a close mouth don't get fed y'all the best and I love it over here that why I pay my rent every month because it's worth it to me my opinion
I just went to view a unit I was told all the prices online were incorrect and they don’t have anything available for 3 months at least. Waste of time smfh
The roaches are insane and the management’s only concern is moving you in then it’s a trap from there. Don’t be fooled

I have been here for over a year. When I first got accepted I was like it’s just a place till I can get another. I have changed my mind I have seen them go from no gates to gates and security. Even though they had security before I moved in. I feel safe and apartments management is awesome. I want to say a special thank you to the manager here she is the best.

Run as fast as you can... Does Not care about tenants only wants to collect rent. They do not fix anything. Except changing a light bulb or unclogging your sink or toilet.

i was here when the old management was here and was so ready to move right back out.but seeing what the new management is doing i would love to stay if it was a way to renew my lease and keep my dog but since they're a no pet policy i don't think i will be able to keep her.the office staff are awsome and since they took over every work order I've put in has been fixed with in 24 hr i hate to leave here.but i want to keep my dog so i have to look for somewhere else to move..

The Management is very kind and very active helping people get approved . My experience this far has been excellent Rebecca Dianne,and the other staff members very positive personnel .I brought all I needed and took few days for approval all they have explained to new comers is true they have round the clock security. To make this place a a beautiful safe living experience. I loved this place the moment I called and then came in .I feel very blessed to have found this and a super thank you to Rent Now Solutions for the listing . ??Also a big huge thank you to all at the Legacy at Riverdale .
My family and I have lived here for over 10 years...yes that long. So we've seen new management and owners come and go over the years. But I'd have to say the new owners are doing a complete 180 with this complex. First, I assume through working with police and the court system they've been able to rid this place of troublemakers and squatters that were giving this place a bad reputation. Second, they're not just doing touch-up paint, but renovating the inside, outside and grounds of all the apartments. Third, and probably my favorite is the gate. They've turned this complex into a gated community with a guard and police officers who live on site. And fourth, they have activities for the residence such as the Mother's Day brunch they held earlier this year. With that being said, if you were hesitant of moving in I'd say not to be. I think you'd be pleasantly surprised with the changes and community they're building over here.
I absolutely LOVE IT here!! Sooooo I wrote a review a couple months ago after I first moved in and said I’d be back cause sometimes stuff changes after you move in. Here’s the update; I have a 1 bedroom and it’s HUGH and super nice!! I love it out here. It’s soooooo quote and everyone is so Friendly. I have to do a few work orders and they come out the SAME DAY. I’ve been in apts and do a work order and have forgotten I put it in because they take so long. Not here honey! They ain’t having it haha. The people that work in the office is always full of smile and speak to you by name when you come in there and when they see you outside. That office is always full of people moving in; I’ve never went in there and saw a unhappy tenant. That says a lot. I was in there today and they were packed house assigning gate keys (cause chile we bout to get our new gate up and running ???????) and it was soooo many people in there getting their keys and all of the office staff was STILL all smiles and making jokes to keep the air light. Becca and Tara in there are my girrrrllls! They be on it! I’m soooo glad I came here. It’s definitely worth it!
If you the type of person that's only in the office to pay rent... they will harass you when walking to the mailbox or through the neighborhood. What's the point of the police in the neighborhood if they going to harass the people living there?? I will not resign here.

Rebecca, Tara and everyone else in The office treats you like family and the maintenance is consistent, the apartments are clean, renovated, and FREE of bugs. They make moving in soo easy especially for first time renters. All bad company was removed as soon as the new mngmnt arrived. This is the absolute BEST youll get in this price range!

Although I’m a ‘reviews’ kind of girl, I didn’t look at the reviews before paying my deposit. While I was in the office paying it a gentleman came in with some of thee most horrific stories about the old management and condition of the property til I had to go and see for myself. Those older reviews were bad!!! I’ve only been here 2 days but I cannot picture this place like the reviews and that guy say it was like here. I just can’t see it. My apt was so nice on move in and the whole moving process was made so easy by the office. I didn’t see any bugs inside like the reviews said. I don’t even see traces of them at all. There’s no loitering on the corners. People aren’t hanging out at night. Kids aren’t running around everywhere. They’re actually are a lot of empty apts because trouble makers were kicked out from what I understand. They have a zero tolerance for trouble the office said. They even have police security 24/7 and once the gate is open next month, the watchman will be at the gate 24/7 in addition to the police that are here. They apts are visibly going through renovations and are looking a lot nicer outside. They seem to really care about the appearance here. I wasn’t able to find anything in this price range that was nice as this. I’m satisfied. I’ll update again in a few months. This review is my honest opinion about my move in and I don’t know anyone in the office on a personal level (cause I see reviews that swear people are paid to say stuff. I’m not that girl. If it’s bad, I’ll write about it). Hope this helps!!
This property has not improved at all that is s Lie they are roach, rat, and bedbug infested if they were rebuilt then I believe it!!!! But if not don’t go for it, it a very high crime area, mold and mildew is everywhere, unit are always flooding, and not to mention people are always getting robbed and it was an incident where this guy followed this lady from the bus stop and tried to force his way in after her how I know because I worked there

I know a lot of these reviews maybe from years ago and they are bad reviews but the property is very new and very improved with the new owners that just came on board they have really turned this property around I'm a resident that's been living here for over 5 years I have never felt as safe as I feel now and the improvements they're doing just make the property more attractive and make it a more inviting and enjoyable place to live

I currently stay here and this place is a joke after a couple off month's after i moved in.during the rain seson in ga.my apartment would flood from the outside i constantly told them and they never came to do anything even after i called code enforcement.I've took pictures and everything and currently have a lawsuit with them as i told them i would so after three months my apartment started to develop mold which they told me it wasn't but the wood to hold the carpet down along the wall told another story and i had to cry and beg them to move me cause i refused to allow my one year old child to live in tyat type of environment.and once they agreed to move me they up my rent and said they had to cause it was a remodel unit..but since their under new management we're going to have to talk about this rent situation or im not renewing my lease..i should have stayed in east point i would have never had this problem
This was my first apartment, and I was very excited. That excitement didn't last for long. It's always something wrong with the apartment. It wouldn't be so fustrating if people in the leasing office actually do what they said. Maintenance do whatever they want whenever. When looking for a place to call home, look for a place where residents are first priority.
This apartment complex is a very unsafe environment. Since I've been living here (7 months), a man has been shot and killed. The people that work in the leasing office are beyond rude. You can tell customer service isn't their cup of tea. They DO NOT care about the recent and future residents. There isn't really any up keep to the grounds of the apartment complex. I just HATE giving my money to them every month. The prices are cheap but its not worth it.

Okay, where to begin. I think I will start with my biggest issue. The roaches. Oh my god the roaches are horrible. I would like to preface this by saying that we have a standard of cleanliness within our household that is not conducive to roaches. Basically we are not nasty. The roaches were here when we moved in! We have contacted the leasing office several times before about the problem throughout our 4 year stay here. Every time they send some cheap exterminator that seems to do nothing but multiply the roaches. When we go into the kitchen at night and turn on the lights the floor itself moves as they scurry back into their hiding places. Not only are there roaches but recently there has been a flux in other things as well. Everyday it seems i'm finding daddy long legs and other insects. Besides the bugs, I will talk about maintenance in general. Our apartments has flooded several times. It was never our fault, always the leasing offices. Every time all of our belongings in the storage closet are ruined and then we have to move everything out ourselves which is a hassel because we have a lot of large heavy things in there and wait forever for someone to come do their job and replace the carpeting. This has happened at least 6 times. Each time with varies results. Some times we were left with stinking carpet for days sometimes we got immediete results. One time the maintenance man just left a fan on using OUR electricity for a few days until it dried. ridiculous! As far as location I can say that we are located really close to both Atlanta and the airport. There isn't much to do in Riverdale but the surrounding cities have some nice things. Within the actual neighborhood I can only speak from my perspective, and we live near the front. It is very quiet and not many problems. Further in the back of the neighborhood is another story. Another thing that I do not like is you can never be sure what yo are getting with your unit. Not all the 2/3 etc bedrooms look the same although everyone pays the same price and it is not fair. Especially since some of them are updated. In general I suggest you keep looking and stay away.
