Property Ratings at Legends Lake Creek
As long as Greystar isn’t the property owners it’ll be better than what I had to go through here. Luckily a new company just bought Legends Lake Creek so Greystar won’t have to clean up their mess. Not that they really did anyway. In short, Greystar management lacks communication skills, and has the worst maintenance team.
I don't have any issues with apartment complex or the staff it was just the state my apartment was in when I moved in. A very cute homey apartment I just don't think it was properly put together before I moved in.
Legends Lake Creek is an amazing place to stay! 1st time living in Texas and I'm thankful I chose here to start my journey! Amazing staff all around from front desk to maintenance and so much more. A lot of amazing amenities and the location is perfect for driving or walking to great food/business spots! Highly recommend! I knew from the name this was going to be a dope place to live.
Legends Lake Creek is a good place to stay. The only problem is the cocroaches.
I’m very unhappy with this place getting charged additional fees for things and then being told nothing can be done about it, And it feels like my unit is falling apart day by day.
I haven't had a good experience from moving in to the change in management to trash collection and pest. I would not recommend.

The community itself seems to be trying to improve, but my move in was horrible. Lease was to start June 2nd and it’s now June 17th and my unit is still not ready to be moved in. We received our keys and did an inspection and found obvious signs of mold, leaks, rotted wood, uncleaned unit, etc. Made note to office staff and was brushed to the side. After several days of staying there because we had nowhere to go; we started to feel sick. At this point I refused to stay another day until the problems were rectified. Having to miss work to deal with the office because there are no straightforward answers via phone or email. Spoke with regional about our issues and finally came up with a resolution. It’s now going in two weeks and still unable to stay in our unit. We were given credit for the days we aren’t staying there along with a $80/day for a place to stay. With all that, I really like the floor plan and what all our unit comes with which is why we choose to stay here. But it is very frustrating having to deal with such issues due to the lack of effort from the office staff.

We had no a/c for weeks in the middle of the summer in high Texas heat. We had to stay at a hotel and our apartment was then burglarized. We immediately moved and now it is negative on my credit report.

After applying seeing the special specifying it was for upgraded units only I applied for an upgraded unit, called TWICE confirmed TWICE that it was upgraded just to walk in day of move in to a “classic unit” Was told I could move in a day earlier just to arrive and be turned around, the next day my move in day I arrived to pick up keys and was told cleaners were in my apartment but they would still get me keys. I get to the apartment and it’s filthy and the AC doesn’t work. 103 degrees inside my apartment at this point. Garbage all over the floors, old food in the fridge from previous tenant amongst several disgusting things in the unit. Not a cleaner in sight. I go to the office and they said they’re calling the cleaners they’re on the way. I give it two hours and call before coming and I’m told the cleaners are finishing up. I arrive and my apartment is still untouched and dirty. A/C is still not working. Of course management doesn’t answer the phone so I go to the office to find the property manager drinking a beer in her bathing suit hanging with the residents at the open pool party. Completely ignoring my move in and already horrible experience this far. I explain the apartment hasn’t been touched and it’s unbearably hot. I had to get a hotel room because I hadn’t had a word from her all day. The following day I arrive and the cleaners were literally still in my unit. I let them finish just to find that the carpets were still disgusting madded and covered in paint. As I’ve been forced to move in to the unit I’ve found only 2 bulbs work in my bathroom, the sinks are constantly clogged, Absolutely no fire detectors have been installed just hanging wire, the carpets are infested with fleas that bite me in bed, the garbage disposal doesn’t work, there’s no hot water in the kitchen, the air filter looks like it’s been in there for over a year, wood is rotting off my patio, and all of which has been put into work orders that have never been completed or probably even looked at by the office or maintenance. The dog park has been filthy for 2 weeks now, I see maintenance cleaning every where but by my building specifically including the dog park, there’s a huge pile of fresh blood right outside my building , my car has been broken into twice in 30 days.
It’s month 3 of living here with a roach infestation that hasn’t been treated yet. The water is leaking from their sinks and shower, so water bill is high and mold growing! Yes they know of these things and I also contacted them. They make promises of getting it fixed and 3 months later nothing.This has been going on since the day I moved in and nothing has been done about it. If you have kids please don’t live here because it’s not safe and they don’t care that it is. Maintenance is backed up months and most people air conditioning doesn’t work. There hasn’t been any accommodations at all. So please don’t move here it’s not uninhabitable!! I spent thousands of dollars to move here from another state to get a dump of an apartment. I pay pest control services and still haven’t got any service. There is no sense of urgency to get this fixed knowing I have a child that lives here and he’s affected by this.

Don’t waste your time or money. This place has mold everywhere and they call it organic growth so they do not have to properly fix it. There are cockroaches everywhere even though you pay for monthly sprayings which I have yet to witness. Sarah (manager) and jay (assistant manager) are worthless and will lie to your face so you leave. I had to contact the corporate office and local code enforcement to get them to fix anything after I have lived here over 3 months. I went almost 4 months without a mailbox. The list goes on and on. I have a mechanical service company that works for other complexes in Austin and we also do mold abatement and water remediation and they do not follow trade standards or health safety protocols.

Update 11/25/22 Incredibly unprofessional. We were sent a notice 11/23 that the water would be shut off by 10am leaving no possibility for individuals to prepare for thanksgiving and turning the water on at 5pm with a major leaks still happening so the issue was not solved. Following the next day water was turned off by 6am ON THANKSGIVING. It is now 11/25/2022 5:18pm and the office has gone home for the day with no notice on the water except that the adhesive is drying. No ports potty’s, waters, bathrooms or anything was offered for the situation. Just that the situation is the cities fault. It really sucks when professionalism lacks in the housing department. I cannot believe anyone would think it’s okay to turn off water for 4 days during the holidays. I’m pregnant with a family in the house and have been forced to take disgusting measures to take care of ourselves. The office even suggested that you may have to go out and use other resources to obtain water. But where on Thanksgiving day

This place is disgusting do not move here! The apartment was not clean when I moved in so I should not have been surprised when I started to see roaches. I’ve been here a month and pest control has already come out twice and the roaches are getting worse. When I spoke to Ty he said here had been no problems with bugs but that was a lie and I have heard from other staff the problem was ongoing before I moved in. The walls around the stove were filthy and it seems like the stove was pushed in a way to cover all the grease and grime left on the walls around the stove. I spoke to Erin about it and she said she would follow up, but that was two weeks ago and I have heard nothing. I was without hot water for over four days (3/18-3/22/19) before the water heater was repaired and that was after emails and multiple calls to the office. The painting was not completed when I moved in and part of the ceiling is a different color. The office is very unorganized and it’s been over a month and I am still being billed the wrong amount for rent and parking more than a month after I moved in. Also the gate does not work and they are making no attempt to fix it.
Love this place, lived here 6 years now and the staff they currently have is the BEST to date! Clean, safe community with plenty to do around you. Quick maintenance response time as well as courteous and willing-to-help staff members. Prices are great, and the amenities are well taken care of as well as the general grounds of the community. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I've been here 2.5 years, and I'll be moving out when my lease is up. It is no longer a gated community as the new management keeps the gates open 24/7. The last management implemented a parking sticker/parking space program so residents would have a better chance at getting a space somewhat close to their building. It was never reinforced, and the new management company has done nothing with this issue, even though they said they would. The parking situation seems to have gotten worse. The laundry is dirtier each time I use it. They took all the blinds off the windows of the gym so you feel like you are on display and more vulnerable if you are working out after dark. And the coded door is usually left open/ajar, so anyone can come in, resident with the code or not. Also seems like more inconsiderate people living here now, not taking care of shared spaces (laundry and gym), grassy areas are a land mine with people not picking up after their dogs, and residents who have garages or car ports parking in the limited amount of regular spaces. It is a great location, close to shopping and major highways, but I have seen a steady decline over the past couple years. With the rent being raised $30/mo every year, it is no longer a value for what you get anymore.
If you enjoy 5 inspections per year, water shut off for repairs, running over nails from roof repairs and rude management then this is the place for you. My first year was great at this property and then year 2, it went down hill. My roof leaked, my bathroom sink leaked, my dishwasher leaked and it's infested with bugs. Oh and management is horrible

We have lived at Bell lake creek apts for going on 2 years now. The list of issues is a long one.... First of all, the apartments look fairly nice on the outside, but the walls are paper thin, and if someone lives above you... expect to never sleep, or relax comfortably due to the walls rattling. Second issue is the way they left the apt when we moved in. It wasnt cleaned at all, the walls had miscolored paint, and the carpet was dingy and had dog hair still in it from the previous tenants. Third issue, is the maintenance of the apartment. Our a.c. has not worked the entire time we have lived there. it barely blows any air from only 2 of the vents, and the other 6 vents dont blow any air at all(which causes our light bill to be really high because the a.c. is on constantly). We have called maintenance multiple times to fix the issue, and they come in, play stupid, say its fixed, and its exactly how it was initially(NEVER FIXED). Fourth and BIGGEST issue is the parking, there is never any parking available if you come in after 9pm. Our vehicle has been towed twice.. and the second time it was towed(which was yesterday) it has been severly damaged. Its a brand new vehicle we purchased in full, and is now not driveable. Because there is no parking whatsoever, we are forced to park under a canopy( which are always vacant because no one wants to pay extra for em). They pulled the vehicle while in park and damaged what seems like the transmission. The muffler is detached and crumbled, with alot of other damage under the vehicle. The worst part is, the front office couldnt care less.. I had to pay to get the vehicle out of the tow yard(which wasnt cheap), had to miss work, and now have the huge worry of getting my vehicle repaired with no one to hold accountable for this huge and expensive problem. (On a side note in the past 3 days, 15 vehicles have been towed. And I am currently in the process of filing a law suit for damages). The list of issues is much longer, but if you want to save yourself the huge headache and constant worry, DO NOT MOVE HERE. The front office doesnt care about you AT ALL, the apartments are disgusting, and you will run into constant issues. This is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived.
We lived in this complex for a year- 2nd floor, newly renovated. Loved their layouts and the renovation was beautiful. The dog park is really what sold us. We had no issues for a year- maintenance requests handled in a timely manner (mostly). We did have one instance our AC went out after hours. We gave the emergency number a call and they told us the outside temperature wasn't high enough to warrant coming out. However, my husband took a screen shot of the temperature, which actually showed it 3 degrees above their minimum. Fast forward to 4 weeks after move out- I get a letter from a collections agency. I called the complex and they never sent us our invoice for the final move out charges. When I called to discuss and dispute some of the charges, I was told a manager would call me back that day. After 4 days, I called again to see when someone would be calling us. I was told we'd get a call Monday, or at the very latest Tuesday. It's now Tuesday at closing hours, and we have yet to hear from anyone. The charges ranged from painting (no issues with that), to changing a light bulb (that's fine, too), resurfacing a master tub (which saw NO damage in the entire year we were there, and was NOT new when we moved in), and replacing carpet. Heads up on that- they do not put down anything to transition the tile to the carpet that will hold down the raw edges of the carpet. So, when you vacuum, you will fray the edges and then pay for new carpet upon move-out. Very unhappy with the management here, but overall, the actual living in the apartment wasn't bad at all. We had no issues with bugs, noises, or anything else you usually see in apartment reviews.

I lived here for a few months before braking my lease to move somewhere else. The walls are thin, windows let all sorts of noise in and the staff is not very helpful. Of several apartment complexes I have lived in, this was the worst.
Listen I have lived her for 3 years...When Presidio had these apartments, all the residents were so happy, rent was great, Property was beautiful... The office staff was so sweet!!! So now we have Bell Lake Apts that came in & raised everyone's rent 50.00 to 100.00 ( we lost great customers) doctors, nurses, teachers, professor, now we have residents that can't afford their rent, fights, loud music etc.... we could call the office and they would ignore us... sometimes you could go in the office & they would ignore you.....I wanted to move because of rent Im in a 1bedroom with attached garage & pay 1100..I couldn't afford to move, too expensive...
