When there’s a problem with the unit no one takes care of it you need to fix it by yourself the manager husbans takes the parking spaces of the tenants, manager husban try to fix things but instead of fixing thing he make them worst
Up and down experience with Management, Maintenance and loud neighbors, the building is low rise built in the early 60s the front entrance has a tall rock decorated wall with a tall locked gate which opens to the garden courtyard and two sets of stairs on left and right there are also 2 doors in the rear entrance of apartments that leads to a open garage with alley way. Lehigh apartments has a nice courtyard in the center of all 13 Units in building with a little recreation area on the side where kids play unfortunately manager prohibits tenants in the garden area but its nice to walk around the garden perimeter, There is a laundry room located at lower level but unfortunately it only has two coin washers and two coin dryers and because of plumbing problems that have been active for 10 months tenants can only use one washer at a 20 minute difference otherwise the washers will rinse out the water from the drains to the laundry room floors! laundry opens 8am closes 10pm Units are not centrally aired, they are cooled with water coolers, and ceiling fans, most of the units are not updated besides small mechanical things that need to be replaced such as a ceiling fan or bathroom fan etc. Maintenance comes ones a week if needed. Manager always ask if unit has a problem and they offer free bug extermination there are roaches. Manager is kind and supportive of tenants. Beware of managers husband is very unprofessional and unruly when a tenant kindly complains about a problem with the unit. tenants are told to keep noise level down at 10 pm but there are disturbances from some of the neighbors that listen to loud music and drink in and around the apartment area at after hours be aware the manager's husband will join them sometimes. The community has mostly families in it but there are a couple of units that are not. the neighborhood has active drunk people at night but okay during the day. beware cars have gotten broken into at night so lock and close windows. There are apartments and houses surrounding the area and there is a school across the street and a park and there are a couple of convenience stores around the corner and a few new store developments in the works opening soon. Big street is Holt Ave and between the 10hwy and the 60hwy and close to the Claremont colleges. Apartment is not to bad or not that great.
