Property Ratings at Lemans at Lawndale
I would like to see my appliances work, my dishwasher been broken for months, my ac barely works in summer time, the stove sparks after you turn it off, and my screen keeps falling out my window, and the toilet rusted and broken, have to use duck tape to keep it flushing. So I have mixed feelings but it’s a place to live
peaceful community, dont have too many complains, just wish rent was cheaper knowing how old this place is, people driving the wrong way around the community get little annoying at times but thats really it
Out of the two places I lived in Greensboro.. this one of my fav places to live at .. it is surrounded by the shopping centers .. neighbors are okay.. maintenance comes when you need them to. only issue that I don’t really like is the parking spaces
Constant stomping from neighbors as if they live on the first floor, cracks in apartment that does not and will not get repaired no matter how many times you put in a ticket because for some odd reason you will get an email stating that it was fixed but maintenance never came back to fix it and this happens often, hence to why there are all types of bugs entering the apartments.
I like the new carpets, fresh paint, and the beautiful hard wood floors. Even though the buildings are old, they are maintained well. The maintenance men were charming and helpful.
Spacious apartments with friendly staff, well-maintained amenities, and quiet surroundings. Great location, but parking could be improved.
Bugs on bugs on bugs. I am very clean, that doesn’t change the fact that there are so many holes and gaps in the floor boards, baseboards, windows, and around pipes for bugs to enter. Cockroaches, Waterbugs, Beetles, idk what else! They don’t do anything about it either. I’ve had wasps make nests on my balcony 3 different times and it takes months and many requests for the team to do anything about it. I am paying management and maintenance to manage and maintain my apartment. They aren’t doing good at it. Black mold is also apparent in my utility room, which i pointed out before moving in and they sprayed over it and it’s growing back. They don’t care! Extremely loose wall sockets as well, not only is it a fire hazard but greatly inconvenient when you want to charge something but it simply can not charge in the socket. Not the worst place to live by any means but certainly not even remotely great either.
The apartments are a decent size , management is nice . The only issue we have is there is a roach problem and mice problem . We've lived here before and we never had that problem . We moved back here because we loved it but did not know they had a roach or mouse infestation
Affordable, responsive apartment living. The apartment at Lemans at Lawndale is inexpensive for 2 bedrooms, which allows for comfortable living and some storage. I work remotely and the experience has been great. The residence is typically quiet and the property is well-kept. I've had several maintenance requests completed quickly. The staff has been accommodating when I temporary had a dog to take care of. The location is close to grocery, gyms, and other shopping. The in-house laundry has been easy to use with an app.
It isn’t bad but it has a bad smell to it and the bugs don’t really come out unless it’s a lot of trash in the apartment. Everytime I take a shower some stuff from the wall is falling into the bathtub.
For me it has been a nice small quiet community. Close to a lot of places for shopping as well as eating. Management gets back to you quick.
Good maintenance but office staff? Never get calls back for questions and concerns. We had to keep calling them to get lease finished after almost 2months . We can't get rid of bugs ,lawn maintenance blows grass onto patio instead of blowing it off ,carpets never get cleaned ,pool hit n miss last couple years open but who knows?
complex area is convenient. parking lot could use filling. limited parking, no designated area for visitors. pay for pest control but still see small bugs inside ( millipedes, rollie pollies) spiderwebs in walk area, i had to put in several requests to get that cleaned. $23.10 fee to pay rent online. floors and walls are thin if you’re under someone you will hear every movement. interior was given the landlord special (painting over any and everything)
I've lived there for two years and while I was happy at first with my siblings, we had major issues as time went on. The first week after we moved in, we had water damage on our ceiling and it took them a whole week to fix it. They promised to paint it too, but never did. The roach problem is so bad, I ended up finding them in my bed at night. Not only that, but palmetto bugs as well. Our ac can't go past 72 or the pipes will freeze and during the summer, its unbearable. And even though we did a walkthrough and marked that multiple blinds were already damaged, we still were charged to replace them. And trying to get ahold of the manager, whether it's through call or email, is frustrating. It's nearly impossible to talk to her. And everyone is constantly breaking the rules of the pool and no one does anything to stop it. The only couple of things I like about the place is the maintenance manager is an amazing person and will stop everything to help you. And maybe you can say that the pool is nice.
Excellent staff!!! Karla the best property manager I have ever experienced. She made move in process so easy for me. Great price, community and experience overall.
Decent Area Nice size apartment Good customer service Neighbors are cool Haven't had any issues since being here I've lived here in 2020 left, and moved back in 2023 and it's still a good place
Friendly area for kids to play, maintenance man has definitely been very helpful when needed. Could use bigger dumpsters in my opinion and possibly more help in the office.
Been here almost a year and so far so good! The rooms are spacious which is one of the reasons I wanted to stay here. It's a quiet place to live.
I love the communication the management team offers when there is an issue or there is simply just a question to be asked. I am very grateful to experience this level of passion from a hard working team
Nice spacious affordable apartments! Great neighborhood & great neighbors. Also friendly & knowledgeable office staff. Quick maintenance! Nice size pool & friendly park for the kiddos! I l Love living here!
I feel that the management is still growing and I love to see that. No one is perfect, however, as they grow I hope to see more in the complex. I’m not sure where the roaches are coming from and the exterminator doesn’t do much. But in all reality, that is ok I guess. I feel that the complex is a bit gloomy and as the management grows, they should start having little raffles/contest just to encourage positive residential active.
Honestly for the price and location I really love my apartment. There are quirks to it since it is a pretty old complex but I think it builds character. Some downsides include extremely thin walls (like I can hear my own TV from the main door when it’s on 13 volume and I’m not even on the same floor) and that the floor boards are warped. Some positives would be sq ft, on-site pool, big courtyard and little playground, and big balcony! I am really happy with my place. There have been a few huge bugs ( but they’re always found dead? - pesticide kills them immediately) but only after a bad storm so I believe that’s the reason. The shower knobs are also super touchy & there isn’t much storage in my apt. I love love love the main room walk- in closet. It is so spacious, having two rods, two shelves and enough room for a long dresser. 3.5/5!
My apartment is old and needs some updates. Windows are my biggest issue. There is no sense of community. Pool hours suck for people who work. I can say maintenance is expedient.
It started off as a good place to rent , sometime , two years ago a roach issue started occurring in my complex , immediately I put in a request for pest control . Pest control wouldn’t do anything , they’d spray something and then leave , a couple months and the problem continued , another request was put in , again same thing . It’s been two years now and we are pretty sure there’s an infestation , the AC hardly works which is no surprise as it took them months of complaints before they checked the roof and saw it was an issue there and not in each individual apartment complex . Not to mention they constantly switch staff and some of the new staff aren’t in great light to most residents . They are also never in the office so it’s absolutely hard to locate them if rent is late or call the office about anything .
Very quiet, and nice place to live. My experience living here is quite the treat. Very organized and nice amenities. Good side of town by all the food spots.
I’ve been here for a few years and it’s A very enjoyable environment. I never encounter any problems. I love that they keep the pool clean during the summer time.
horrible and maintenance is even worst i wouldn’t recommend moving here and they don’t have any update appliances. and don’t even let you have plants too make the place look better
Affordable and friendly. I am able to have my cat for a low fee, and the apartment is close to a grocery store and Target. While I don't have kids, the apartment complex apartments appears to be family friendly with a playground and a pool. The application process was easy and their website makes paying rent a breeze. They also have laundry in the basement of the units, which uses a mobile app to pay and track progress. Overall, it's been a pleasant experience.
I love my apartment. The complex is peaceful, never loud, no complaints. The maintenance comes whenever I have an issue and always fixes it in no time. The staff are very helpful and friendly and respond quickly to emails. Rent is a good price.
The pool is open for 5 days a year. The laundry machines never work, and they always say that they fix it when they don't. They don't work for anything. The people are nice, but don't do it. It's trap
This place is clear old and crackin down. Maintenance needs help and to fix leaks. Washer and dryers also don't work good in laundry area
This is by far the worst apartment I have seen in my life. If you like roaches, this is the place for you. I'm in building 2009 and after speaking with multiple residents in my unit and others, it looks like it's a common issue. My apartment was infested witih hundreds of roaches and I had to stay at a hotel for over a week due to this and it not being handled correctly.
So my husband went today and said the lady in the office had a bad attitude like he didn't feel welcomed. He decided to look somewhere else because of that alone. Just a heads up! Hopefully they get that taken care of because that's bad for business!
I moved to this complex on January of 2016. I was told the bathroom of my three bedroom apartment would have double sink (it did not). I asked to be given a unit with the double sink and was told that since i already signed the lease i had to pay them $300 for them to do that. I hadn't even moved in yet! I also explained to the lady that signed me up for the lease that my 2 year old son has allergies to dust and any insect droppings as well. The day of my move in there were roaches EVERYWHERE and the carpet had a very funky smell. I emailed the front desk and was told that they were sursprised about the "roaches" and they would send pest control right away. Someone came days later and was rude and wouldn't go spray anywhere else but the kitchen! I emailed them contantly about the roaches and they would barely send anyone. There was also my shower head and toilet leaking, windows were broken, dish washer is not properly put in place so it falls foward when loading it and sliding patio door did not lock to this day it still does NOT lock! Since January until March they finally replaced the windows after having to pay about $200 every month in electric bill because my apartment was so cold my kids kept getting colds. On May 27 they finally fixed the shower head and toilet DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! It is unsanitary and its falling apart. Not worth it.
Astonishing residential residence for convenience .Well managing property staff. With Shopping and restaurants within the area There are Movie theaters,Libraries and leisure amenities like music coliseums and performing arts attractions to fancy your likes.
I have been here 3 yrs. Have changed management twice. Property manager 3 times. Good neighborhood. Close to stores and restaurants. Good apartment. Still can improve
