Located about two miles east of Downtown Austin, Govalle – Swedish for “good grazing” – began as a cattle ranch during the mid-1800s. Today, it’s a popular neighborhood with easy access to downtown as well as to the University of Texas at Austin. The neighborhood extends north from the Colorado River to Rosewood Avenue in East Austin. The Boggy Creek passes through the heart of Govalle and the Boggy Creek Greenbelt is located on either side of the neighborhood.
Govalle residents enjoy the natural beauty of the river, Colorado River Park Wildlife Sanctuary, and Govalle Neighborhood Park. This park features a swimming pool, a playground, and ball fields. Property Ratings at Lenox 7th
Every property will have issues that are completely out of the management team's control. Given that, the care and pride Yosi, Jose, and the maintenance team + the office team, take in Lenox on 7th is above and beyond. As one of the first residents here, I've renewed my lease and haven't had any issues that extend beyond what is to be expected in any large apartment complex in a growing city. All maintenance requests are performed same day and are incredibly proactive. Ask for anything you need (be reasonable) and they will do their best to help. I've lived in a number of different properties in many cities and even my friends in different buildings across all the hot locations in Austin, this is the best.

We have never renewed a lease before and now we are going on our second year here at Lenox :) I’ve met such amazing people living here and the staff has always been incredibly helpful. I really enjoy that they like to do events that brings the neighbors together. 9.9/10- because the cornhole boards could go elsewhere but you get used to it after a while :)

I would be very vigilant in reviewing pros and cons prior to signing a lease. The apartment complex has very thin walls/flooring so it is a challenge to deal with the noise from other apartments. Management has the Quiet Policy in place (10:00PM-7:00AM). However, some residents violate the policy and it creates additional burden on other residents. This is an ongoing issue. Smoke alarms go off frequently. The last alarm went off in the middle of the night. It seems the policy is not being enforced. Residents should not be facing these challenges for the amount of the rent they are billed on a monthly basis.

Dont move here, for the price rent a house. Half the “amenities” they have dont work and your charged a fee for using them anyways once a month. They also changed the payment options to ONLY accepting payments in full - partial payments are no longer an option here!! The fire alarms always go off, the noise never stops, all the doors are heavy as hell so you hear whenever someone is opening or closing their doors. The gym is a joke and parking is horrendous just save your time and money and rent a house.
Great location! Great amenities! Fun activities- I literally watched a drag show from my balcony in the courtyard. And great staff - from management to maintenance - great folks!

Amenities are all gorgeous -- rooftop is spectacular, pools, so many community game spaces and spaces to work remotely. Move in (and about a million questions I had pre-move-in) was a super smooth process and any issues I had were fixed immediately (small things like water pressure and an outlet not being fully hooked up - which haven't been an issue since). That being said, this apartment complex has all the same issues as all the other apartment complexes in Austin - they were all constructed way too quickly, roaches are a problem city-wide, car/property theft is a problem city-wide, security gates break easily in all complexes, and rents are super high because everyone is moving to Austin - especially around COVID. If you're not ready to pay the high rent and deal with those things, and deal with other people feeling entitled to not deal with those things because of the rent price, I recommend finding a different city altogether and/or buying a house. So far, I've been here almost a month and I've enjoyed it and found staff to be pretty helpful and transparent overall despite any challenges. I've read the horror stories about TONS of other buildings and I'm hoping for the best, enjoying the good bits, and bracing for the worst. To me, the city is still worth it for now and I'm going to give it a fair shot before I'm entirely jaded.

I've lived here for a little over two months and can honestly say it's been perfect. Maintenance is quick, efficient, and friendly. The front desk staff is always happy to help with any questions or problems. The units are spacious and have beautiful finish outs. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to live that is nice, clean, and close to down town!

I moved to Lenox 7th from out of state - site unseen. I have nothing but extraordinarily positive things to say about the property, location, finish outs, amount of storage in my unit and all the services this place comes with. Property and all the stunning things it has to offer aside, Dustin and Makenzie in the leasing office have made my move in process as seamless as it could be with new construction. You definitely want to work with Dustin and Makenzie to snag one of these units before they are all gone!
