Scofield Farms is a peaceful suburban community located about 12 miles northeast of Downtown Austin and about 11 miles north of the University of Texas at Austin. This neighborhood is nicely contained with cozy residential streets, a large shopping area, and the Scofield Farms Neighborhood Park extending through the center of the neighborhood. The park is separated from the Wells Creek Greenbelt by Metric Boulevard, providing ample hiking trails for residents to enjoy.
Parmer Lane is lined with a variety of shops and restaurants, and additional shopping and dining options are available along I-35, directly east of Scofield Farms. Residents are close to the Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park, a large park with a leash-free hiking trail, picnic areas, a municipal pool, and a BMX track. Gates are always open.. no security. I live in building 7 and stairs are always dirty Stairs dont have light. Elevator has stopped working 4times in my stay here for 1.8 years!

I hate to leave a poor review but from day one problems with the unit, complex, and management have been non-stop. 1. To start, the maintenance team has been great. Unfortunately many of the 5-star reviews are a result of the maintenance people coercing good reviews out of tenants under the guise of helping them keep their jobs. This is deceptive to future tenants and shady business practice. 2. The unit we moved into had been vacant for at least a month before we moved in. Despite this, no maintenance/cleaning had been performed on the unit and we were welcomed to water damage, cracks in the walls, broken shelves, and a dusty dirty apartment. The dryer, refrigerator, garbage disposal, and toilets all had damage prior to moving in. 3. The pool is gorgeous and was a big draw for us moving here. Unfortunately it is closed without warning during the summer for days on end. It would be greatly appreciated if advanced notice could be given even if a possible reopen date is not yet known. 4. Most concerningly, the air filters in the unit had not been changed in 4 YEARS. This led to many of the vents being covered with dust, mildew, and mold. If you live here please check your vents as prolonged exposure can be hazardous.
I enjoy the quick response time of maintenance as well as the efficiency of the leasing team in office. I also enjoy the occasional community events.
Living here so far has been a breeze! Management and maintenance deal with questions and repairs quickly. Love the amenities and the package service, which keeps your deliveries safe until you're able to collect them. I would say that apartments facing Mopac are a bit noisy but I already assumed that before moving in, so that's fine.
I’ve enjoyed my new home! We’ve been comfortable and safe and it feels like a resort vacation everyday we walk through the grounds.
Work order was closed as resolved without fixing the issue. Pedestrian door remains broken, anyone can access the building without a fob.
Windsor Ridge has been on top of maintenance and any questions that I have!
The team here is the best around, the property is great and I love my new home.
Management is okay - they listen but don't always make necessary changes. Also, we've been asking for a printer and they've said they'll get one but it's been 2 years.

This is by far the nicest complex I've seen and lived it. It's clean, everyone was helpful and nice. The property is gorgeous and the amenities are amazing. Honestly they had me at the coffee machine in the req. area.
Community is great to live in. sure it has it's problems but the good outweighs the bad. Maintenance team is great! One night I accidentally broke my key and William came down right away and fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes. I was afraid i was going to be locked out for the night but William solved the issue fast. Happy to be in neighborhood where the maintenance team is reliable
I have only been here 2 months and I am not impressed at all especially with maintenance. I am not actually sure if they ever work here full time or not. I’ve put in multiple requests to come get a portable ac machine and after more than a week it’s still here. When I moved in my hot water didn’t work the AC broke and it took days to get fixed. So far Windsor Ridge isn’t holding up their end of the lease. At this point when my renewal is due I’ll probably leave.
Overall a good community to live in. Definitely has its issues like any other place, and the appliances are subpar to what you would expect for the price.
Windsor Ridge staff is amazing from the office to the maintenance too! Brooke and Shanieka in the office are always so kind and cheerful to help in any way and always so welcoming with a smile. Maintenance definitely takes care of any issues you may have in your apartment in a timely manner as well. Not only do they get the job done but very friendly, take the time to explain the work done or make sure to leave you detailed notes on the work completed, always making sure residents are happy and reassured. The few times I’ve needed maintenance- William and Gabe have been EXCELLENT! I’ve been so happy to live here … and Windsor Communities are amazing!!
We moved very recently to Winsdor Ridge by reviewing all the positive reviews, however, there are lot of safety issues in the community. Recently there are break-ins to multiple vehicles in the community. Rodent attacks to vehicles in the parking lot. Packages are missing and locker rooms are vandalized. No CC cameras or security available on the community premises. Frequent outages. Every time we reach to leasing office, they just try to push on others saying it's because of constructing across the community.
The office and maintenance team are super responsive and resolve requests quickly.

I've really enjoyed living at Ridge. The community itself is beautiful and well maintained. My particular building is quiet and I have a lot of privacy. The entire team is very responsive. Maintenance is 10/10.
I am loving Windsor Ridge. My apartment is great, and the facilities are too. For the price it’s really great and during a time when rent has been so high, it was nice to find something priced so reasonably.
Every aspect of my moving journey has been met with positive interactions at Windsor Ridge. Terah was always helpful in answering any question I had with a super quick response time. The apartments are very well maintained and the amenities are great!
Apartment was still somewhat dirty when I moved in. Granite countertops starting to change color if water stays on them. Overall, a little underwhelming in general. The staff is great though. The physical apartment and buildings could use some work.
I really loved my first impressions for this place while working with the lady’s in the office. With their help I was made at ease to sign a lease at a price I surely wish was lower but understand this is a quality residential community. Today it’s very expensive to live here in my home of Austin but Windsor ridge here has made me very happy. Thank you!

Maintenance was amazing! Not only was our dryer fixed, he brought a new air filter, saw we had a couple of light bulbs out and replaced all of them!!
I live in one of the swaggy units not connected to the buildings. I love it here. Santos and William the maintenance guys always come and fix my stuff, they’re great dudes. Brooke and shanikea are always helpful. I feel safe and at home. I just resigned another 16months. I highly recommend living here. The spot is hot commodity. And they never lack communication.
My community tour went AMAZING! When first arriving at the site we notice how spotless and clean the grounds are. As you walk into the office you are greeted by the happiest office staff I have ever seen. Throughout the tour, you can tell how well the staff takes care of the community because everything is in order and immaculate. The floorplans are very spacious and the layouts have the perfect amount of space in the right areas. We ended up leasing with this awesome community and cannot wait to move in!

When you consider the price point, the community amenities, the staff, etc. I am not sure you can find a better value or choice to make your apartment home than Windsor Ridge. The staff is sincerely one of the best parts of living here. They are super helpful, friendly, and really go above and beyond. One of my favorites is the maintenance team! William is always willing to help, listen, and resolve any issues that come up!
I love my apartment and floor plan. Only thing that I guess need room to improve is the common area and the coffee machine. Most of the time its out of order or the quality of coffee is poor. Also the AC in study rooms are not easily adjustable. I sometimes go there late night to work and study, but its either too cold or too hot! Also, I would love to get to know my neighbors, I think that only happens through community event and gatherings. I remember once I went to a nail saloon in domain, they were booked cause the an apartment complex booked them for a tea party with spa and nail all free for the residents!!! Well, I would love to see my apartment have plans like that too, its a good marketing idea and improves satisfaction. Overall, thanks for everything.

The apartment was not clean when I moved in. Even after notifying the leasing office, there were areas that were still dirty. Manager said they would follow up to white it was clean and didnt. I wasnt able to move in and didnt receive any compensation for pushed move in date.
The maintenance team in Windsor Ridge is outstanding! One of the main reasons I love this community.
Windsor Communities prides themselves on customer service and they deliver impeccable service. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking to live in the Austin area or beyond.
I have to admit Windsor Ridge was not out 1st choice, BUT after the help the management team showed us all that was available & made the application process so easy-we are glad this is where we live. I have been telling family & friends about the beautiful clubhouse & amenities plus cant wait to show off our apartment space when we finally finish unpacking. Coming from Chicago this is a more perfect fit than we could have ever expected!
This complex has steadily decreased since being acquired by Windsor. One area that severely lacks is the communication between staff and residents, as well as, lawn maintenance.
When I moved into Windsor Ridge my apartment was not cleaned. I contacted someone about it not being cleaned and I have never received a response back. This place was a no luxurylike it is marketed. Very dissatisfied and unfortunate that I have a full year lease here.
The maintenance team here at Windsor Ridge has been awesome! William has always been professional and made sure all my needs were met.
I moved in 3 months ago, since then I’m having maintenance issues. The dryer is not working since then. The living room windows are leaking, every raining looks like a falls inside my apartment. The kitchen crawling is moisturized and leaking every single use of the dryer. Hallways poorly cleaned. Stove scratchy
Leasing and maintenance staff are very personable and professional. Theyve been able to take care of any questions or issues in a timely manner!
Brooke and all of the Windsor staff have been beyond amazing since I started leasing here. They took care of my roommate and I and made sure we were safe during the winter storm we had here in Texas. They are super communicative, attentive, kind, and caring.
People leave their dog poop everywhere. In the stairwell, hallways, there was dog pee in our elevator for a week. Pool was finally cleaned after months but not well, still algae on in pool chairs, and mustard algae on the pool floor, no attention to detail here. Last thing, the staff is all over the place. William is great, but the rest just kind of tell you things and then nothing happens and you have to be the one to make sure it happens. One of the leading agents is so unmotivated, always acts as if they would be anywhere else and you are bothering them.
Really enjoy living here so far, only wish that we can have new fobs that dont lose battery, and there are less noises on the property from car alarms, barking dogs, some kind of property maintenance, etc.
