Property Ratings at Leonardine Gardens
Unsafe. During my stay at peak pandemic, the apartment was broken into by someone who was able to pick/open all 3 locks to the unit, get in my face maskless, and potentially expose me to COVID-19. Management initially ignored all my concerns, then had the audacity to attempt to charge me to replace the locks. A tenant keyed at least 4 cars in the complex over parking spaces, when parking is readily available and not assigned. Management knew who it was, and never bothered to report to authorities. Because of their negligence, tenants suffered potentially thousands in damages. I've gotten my safety violated, potentially exposed to COVID-19, and my car keyed during my miserable stay here. Avoid it.
We have lived here almost 5 years and it's been such a pleasure. I told myself a year max but there's something so homey about this complex. I've never had a maintenance issue they have always been quick to respond and so helpful. The grounds are kept well landscaping comes every other week. It's dog friendly but I didn't even know my one neighbor had a dog until the other day - I never really hear them so the noise isn't an issue either. It's super close to everything and the dog park is super convenient. Through the years I think we have referred just about 7 people to come live here and only 2 have left ( one moved out of state and the other bought a house!) I can't speak any higher of this place and will certainly keep referring people! We loved hosting the holidays here with such spaces units. Get in there while you can !!!
Renting here for 3yrs now and we love it. Only downside is some tenants doesn’t know how to clean up after there dogs poop when in fact there are trash bins and poopy bags provided in every street. It has been raised as a concern and so far there’s an improvement. Reminder to some pet parents/dog owners, if you have furbabies please be responsible to clean up after them and not just walk away. Another con, wall paint easily comes off and there are cracks on the wall that keep returning even if it was fixed already when we first moved in. The pros, parking is not much of a problem. When we have family or friends visiting over we always get positive feedbacks, they like how spacious the unit area is. We stay on the second floor and having a toddler running around and a dog barking at times, we’re lucky to have good & friendly next door neighbors that doesn’t complain. Tenants are well taken care of, thank you Leonardine Gardens staff. Keep it up.
After reading the only review here, I had to raise a counter. I began my apartment search in April, and this location quickly became my number one. After dealing with several rude office managers (multiple unanswered emails and phone calls, basic lack of courtesy) Stacy in the office was a delight to deal with. Every email and communication was answered promptly and directly. Very flexible with arranging everything. If she didn't have an answer, she was quick in getting back to me with one. I've been living here a month now and love every minute of it. I've only needed maintenance once. After a quick email to the office manager. I had someone here the next day. Again nice dude, very professional. As for the noise, it's nothing you won't get in any other apartment complex. It really depends on the neighbors you have, but so far I haven't heard a peep even though my downstairs neighbor has a large dog. Grounds are well maintained as well. Can't speak to the laundry facilities, as I use a service for that. As with anything you should see for yourself. Yeah it's an older building, but it has a lot of space for what you pay.
NO HEAT IN WINTER TIME. TERRIBLE SERVICE IN LEASING OFFICE. TENANTS ARE TREATED LIKE ANIMALS. CORPORATE OFFICE WILL NOT RETURN CALLS. APARTMENTS ARE OLD. WALLS ARE TOO THIN. STAY AWAY.
