Don't let the concrete ceilings fool you, you can hear every single one of your neighbors in the entire building loud and clear. Rolling blackouts and water shutoffs sometimes more than once a week.
I’m not one to write reviews but this one is needed. My apartment has fluctuated between 85-90 degrees during the day. If I’m lucky at night, I can get down to about 78. We have had no A/C since it’s been needed (mid-may) with no timeline on it being fixed. THE SAME EXACT ISSUE HAPPENED LAST SUMMER (2021) AND TOOK 6 weeks to fix. The layouts are great but the new price points (20% higher than they were a year ago) no longer justify shotty management and hot living conditions. Gwendolyn and Dustin in the leasing office are great, but only so much office staff can do to help living situations. I’ve seen the property manager be very rude and defensive to tenants that are justifiably upset at the A/C situation. I understand that things happen, but when you give a lack of communication as well as no temporary remedies, there is no excuse. You can find something better for the price you will pay here. Guaranteed. I and many other tenants have contacted the BBB to file complaints if that is any indication of how fed up we are.
I’ve lived at the lex at Lowry for 4 years now. You’d hope they value a resident that has been with the complex for a while, but this year The Lex raised my rent for almost $400 more expensive! No renovations in my apartment, no new floor in the patio like I have requested, nothing. Very disappointed to have to find another place to live purely because of the price! Not worth it.
It’s been 85 degrees every night here and nearing 90 during the day. Haven’t had working AC all year, it’s miserable. Pools aren’t opened yet and we’re promised they’d open two weeks ago. Car break ins are a regular here and it’s near a fire department so it’s super noisy. Had the audacity to raise rent when half the amenities aren’t available both in unit and on grounds. Most equipment in the gym is broken, washer and dryer were broken for 3 weeks on our floor. Could go on forever there’s so many more issues.

Nice, pet-friendly property with pools, a gym, a playground, a dog run and various sports fields. Management is active and generally on the ball. Maintenance is hit or miss, which means you might have to repeat some maintenance requests. The community is diverse, both culturally and in terms of income level. My family has felt safe here in the complex and in the neighborhood. Parking policy is extremely strict, we or our guests have been towed twice in two years, one of them for being on a spot that looked like a parking spot but wasn't well marked as non-parking.

Over all living in The Lex is pretty decent. The neighbors are nice and the property is usually cleaned and manicured at least once a week.

The Lex has been our home for a little over two years and while it has its pluses and minuses, its been our home. Its in a GREAT location and the price is pretty good compared to most of Denver, especially with this location. For people that cant afford a good amount of the ridiculously priced apartments in town, this might be the stop for you.

I think the title says it all. There is no staff available to address the problem which is the normal situation. I have been in apt. apt for a year. Sinks backing up with sewage have been a problem for a year. No one here seems to have any plumbing skills and they are very reluctant to call a professional. I wouldn't be surprised to see the 50 year old buildings emptied, torn down and replaced in the not too distant future.

I applied and was charged a high holding fee. When I decided to go elsewhere, the management staff would not return my calls, emails, or online inquiries to get my holding fee back. I would call and be hung up on immediately, experienced non responsive emails, and was ignored. So disappointed!

Overall its an average apartment complex and you get what you get for the money you pay, most places that come similar are either janky or wayyy to expensive and The Lex is in kind of a perfect location, its really close to grocery stores and its not too far from Aurora and to downtown. Its not as close to the highway as Id like but you cant have everything.

The apartments themselves are nice and the location of the property is great. However, management has gotten only marginally better since I moved in and I have had nothing but issues with maintenance. They do not listen to maintenance requests and fix it the way they want and not the necessary fix. This could be a great place to live but as of now it is not.

Like living here at the Lex. Appartment is nice and fairly reasonable. They are dog friendly which is a big plus. The Appartments are well build so even if I have a noise neighbor I can barely here them.

The LEX is located in a very nice community of houses, town homes , and high rise apartment buildings. The grounds are well kept, as are the pools, tennis courts and exercise amenities. The Office staff are friendly and willing to be helpful where they can. Comparing the market costs of the rentals, one actually can enjoy the upgrades and square footage of each unit . The costs are competitive, yet, it does appear online that the quality of property is better than many other Apartment communities in Denver and surrounding areas. Additionally, the small pond/lakes with fountains and walk ways, well manicured trees and bushes are a nice addition to the landscape and adds a nice touch.. AG

I picked the Lex at Lowry because of the amenities. I can understand the indoor amenities being closed due to COVID, but both pools should be open. Also should be open for their full hours, seeing as how the one is barely being monitored. Seeing as how I do not have use of all the amenities, I should not be paying for all the amenities. I live in building A, I do really love my apartment, but getting up to it is disgusting! The smell in this building is horrible,the lobby look horrible! I am almost embarrassed to have people visit. I was really disappointed when I wasn't told about the limited access to get my furniture moved in, and was not able to move my couch. Seeing as how moving is expensive, I do not have it ion my budget at this time to buy a new one. The leasing office told me there was nothing that they could to about it.. They could have mentioned this in the beginning that if I had large furniture I should have gone with a lower floor. I was not able to see the building before moving in.

The amenities at The Lex are a desired feature of our community which are offered to our residents free of charge and are not included in your rental payments. The decision has been made at the direction of our local health officials and are being conducted nationwide and are being readdressed as often as possible. Currently, we have a maximum occupancy of 50 residents at the pool and have not come close to that use this year, which is why we have not opened the additional pools. I know we have been in touch about the building concerns, and hope you have seen an improvement in condition-- we are eager to hear more feedback to maintain the space.
The Lex community is fun and family oriented. I've been here six years and my neighbors are some of my best and closest friends.

I love the view from our apartment and the apartment itself is beautiful and well maintained. HUGE deck and property and mountain views as well as the spaciousness of the apartment and ample cabinets really sold us on the rental here at the Lex at Lowry. We have been here for 10 months and are very happy here. Outdoor property is well maintained. The Lobbies, Elevator and Hallways could really use updating! We have never had a problem with any of the residents, all are kind. Would love to see more communication from management regarding issues and recommendations for property use. For example, with COVID-19 restrictions, there has been no type of ongoing communication related to plans for re-opening gym, courts, pools, etc, which could be done through a general email blast every few weeks.
