Property Ratings at Lexington Commons
My experience at lexington common has been good. My neighbors are great no complaints. Whenever I put in a service request, they are there the same day.
Nice quiet apt building, well managed, maintenance request is addressed speedily. The property is well maintained, parking readily is available.
I love how quite the neighborhood is around here and we are close to everything. I've been here for a few months now and management has been very helpful every step of the way.
I love living here, but the kitchen does not look like the online photos whatsoever. It’s also incredibly inconvenient where the washer and dryer is because it prevents usage of the dishwasher. Speaking of Dishwasher, I put in a service request for it to get repaired when I first moved in, and it still hasn’t been fixed. Maintenance here is practically useless. But for the price your paying, you’re getting a great place to live!
The apartments could use renovations but for the price I guess it’s a good deal. The maintenance dept is responsive and very nice; I believe the neighborhood is quiet. Front office manager is dynamite!!!
So far it’s good. Not noisy, nice size rooms, and the maintenance is always helpful, the office person always responds in a great timely manner.
Managers are excellent and friendly, maintenance is the worst I had been met before in all my entire life. Their work is horrible, no quality at all.
Great place to live real quiet neighborhood. The place is super nice and renovated. The rent is affordable compared to other places in the area.
Customer service needs to be improved, Dogs do their waste and their owners don't pick it up, In all other respects everything was quite correct, one could say that it was a good experience.
Living here has been a pleasant experience so far. I haven't had any maintenance issues except when I first moved in in July and it was fixed the next day. The staff is still very friendly and attentive.
I like the apartments as a whole and I think the neighborhood is amazing, I just wish we had more parking haha but besides that no real complaints
Apartment has been super comfy and perfect for me and my family although my shower handles and back screen door have both had issues since my lease start and when brought up they said it may be considered my fault they are damaged although I don’t know how to prove I want the one to have them act up
So far pretty good. Candace made my move in process very smooth and without hiccups. Now I will say the property is a little dated but everything is in working order. I also love that the noise level is quiet. I'm loving it so far
I’ve been living here for a little over 3 months. My daughters and I love It here. We love how peaceful it is and that it’s alway well kept.
It's wonderful experience to live in this apartment. They are always happy to give us any kind of need. It's a very clean and good outside lawn area . Thanks.
Overrall, my experience has not been bad. I've been there 3 years and 3 months. The first 2 years was quiet, my neighbors are great. I love that the apartments are close to everything, you can walk that's how close it is. Grocery store, fitness gym, drug stores, etc. are nearby. Lexington commons are dated, they can definitely use some upgrading. They need new window fixtures, the window are dry rotted and peeling. They gave me screen slide for back door and it doesn't fit it keeps popping out and the blinds for the back slide door are old and the keep falling off. All the blinds in the house need changing.
My experience here so far has been fine no problems damages that I had was fixed quick and it’s been quiet. A safe place to stay to live and have kids.
It is a quiet community and friendly neighbors that will greet you as well. In a decent part of the city accessible to many shopping places and restaurants
I like the quiet space and the apartment, however I feel there are few amenities compared to other similarly priced units in the area. The management team are not easy to contact either and I find myself fixing a lot of issues in my home myself rather than call maintenance knowing they can take a long time.
Been here for 3 years and have had a pleasant experience. Not had many issues, work orders get done in a timely manor and management treats me and my family with curiosity and respect
A great complex but the area has become very troubling over the last year or so . The pricing is still very reasonable. Not always able to reach someone at the office but the world has a shortage no matter where you go.
Horrible communication don’t fix things properly pest control barely comes. The landscaping company is horrible don’t clean patios have a mini forest growing. Things have gone downhill I see why majority of residents leave after one term of lease or they leave sooner
I am thankful to have a place to live, but it's not worth the price charged. The plumbing is always a problem and for the first three years I was having Rodent issues, and pest control hasn't sprayed in my apartment for 2 1/2 years so it's a good thing I try to Keep t clean. These apartments could use some fixing up. I can say there's not a lot of commotion here so that's a plus. I would not recommend to anyone unless the person really needed somewhere to live.
This is one of the worst places I have ever lived in my 10 years of independence. I would give negative stars if I could. My A/C & heat didn't work for a year & a half of the 2 & a half years I lived there. I had to BEG for a new HVAC unit & call their corporate office anytime an issue went unresolved for a long time. (Which was often) They still owe me $40 in wrongfully charged "late fees" for rent that I was charged for after already moving out. They debited my account for dates I wasn't living there, charged me late fees on it & then never refunded me & rarely respond to emails. On top of all of that, I had neighbors that flooded my apartment 3 times. They STILL LIVE THERE!! I feel bad for the person that moved into my unit, they're in for a rude awakening. LOOK ELSEWHERE!
Before I left, I had a broken smoke detector that kept beeping. Management had someone come out to fix it, but the problem was not fixed and it continued to beep. I asked for another service request, and it was not filled before I moved out. The beeping went on for several weeks. Once, the unit got so humid that mold started growing on my clothes, furniture, and walls and it took a while for management to figure out that problem. Once, I was without the ability to shower because water was draining directly into the kitchen. This moisture eventually grew mold. The mold was responded to quickly, but the issue still arose. My heating was dysfunctional during some of the winter and it got down to the low fifties in my unit. In addition, my A/C was nonfunctional in the summer and needed to be fixed. Generally, management responded to the issues, but slowly. They will provide temporary solutions, but that doesn't change the fact that there is a larger issue with the quality of the units. More concerning was the frequency of the issues with the unit.
I normally don't write a review right after moving in, but this in not a normal case. We moved in on 12/10, was told everything was clean and ready to go. When we walked in the door, we were at a loss of words. The place was filthy, minus the new carpet, and average vinyl work. Walls and baseboards were not painted, vents and any ledge were not dusted. Dishwasher was not assembled(later found out that a piece was melted and just thrown into the dishwasher), drawers could not be open because of the dishwasher(which was just jammed into the spot and not installed correctly) was in the way, Washer and Dryer were not even cleaned(still had hair in it from the previous tenet. Lock to the back door was not working correctly, there is a beautiful gap under the front door that is letting heat out, in one of the bedrooms, a window doesn't even close, again letting heat out, a closet door was just leaning against the wall. If you look up the stairs at the ceiling, you can tell for sure it was not painted, and there is dirt and dust just clinging to the wall (would not have been there if it was actually clean). These have been just a few of the issues. I have been told on multiple occasions that Antonio himself telling me, he would be in to take care of things, but not even showing up. Was informed that Maintenance controls everything there, not the manager on site. We were never actually showed an apartment, just the main office, and that should have been a red flag, but we took a chance. Our lease is not up until next fall, but already, can't wait for it to be over. It has been just 2 weeks, but have already dealt with more issues in those 2 weeks, than the previous 5 years of renting combined. If you are looking for a nice apartment, do not look here. Also, you can not get a hold of the office, even during office hours.
No heat or AC? Don’t worry, they’ll give you a portable heater for months on end and then never update you! Apartment flooded? Don’t worry, they’ll schedule a carpet cleaning two months later after it’s all over and taken care of by YOU. Heather the Assistant Manager is WONDERFUL but other than that there is no reason to move here. If something is broken you better figure out how to become a handyman or you’re SOL.
I have lived here for almost two years and I hate it! So sorry I moved here , big mistake. I would not recommend anyone to rent here. Subpar living conditions to say the least. You have been warned!
Management Debbie is nice, but the apartments are not kept up to date. My floors creekk. When i moved in there was a hole in my apartment. They make you pay for pest control but they only come every three months & spray one spot & leave. maintenance SUCKS! they do not care. Please its not worth the money. Cant wait til my lease is up.
I’ve been here for a while and We have had three maintenance men that worked seven days and they wasn’t the best. I was ready to move and this young man by name A.G. came and the did the job of all three of them plus the outside people. He was well skilled and very very polite and professional! It’s a shame the company that the company didn’t give him the proper resources. Now he is gone, what a shame! I can truly say he was the best maintenance man I’ve had in a very long time. I am writing anonymous because I don’t want to cause any trouble or have staff to look at me differently
I have nothing but great things to say about this property and property manager Sandie. He is so sweet and very helpful to get things solved and work orders taken care of. Ive places 2 work orders since I've lived here and both were handled immediately with greater results than expected. Sandie is a great property manager and really cares about his property and tenants..
The property manager Sandie was very sweet, helpful, pleasant and professional. He found an apartment for me very quickly. I have been living here for a month and I love it thank you for all that you do. J. Bond
I've always had a problem with them not fixing things until 2 weeks to a month later but now they let just about anyone move in. There's always loud neighbors either screaming at each other at odd hours of the night to playing loud music and the managers does nothing about it no matter how much you complain to them. This company is always changing managers so there's always something wrong. Rent is too high for a poor quality apartment also.
Went there to get more information about the apartment. The guy working there was rude and yelling when i asked how many rooms does this apartment complex offer. He said you should of found out before you stepped into my office. Then he told me wait let me finish up with this phone call. Then we had to stand up because there were no chairs. I had a small quiet conversation with my friend while we wait. He told us you guys can step outside and talk. (it was 95 degrees outside). Horrible Customer Service. If they treat you like this before you even sign a lease think about it how they will treat you after you become a resident there.
I have been living here since December of 2016 and the only problem I find with my apartment is that the upstairs floor squeak ,and that is normal because the building is old.
I've been living here for almost a year now. The apartments have large living spaces, and the master bedroom has a nice walk-in closet. I really liked the fact that a washer/dryer is included in the rent. However, as the apartments are quite old and haven't been fully renovated in a while, I've had to call pest control several times since I've been here. The maintenance man can fix just about anything, but he seems to be stretched and lacking time to fulfill all maintenance requests in a timely fashion. Otherwise, I'll be living here a little while longer, because it's in a great location, and I don't have to go very far to obtain living essentials.
