Quiet place to live off campus, but just a bus ride to UF and all the activities. New management has been really good and trying to improve tenant living and quality of life!!

The company who owned Lexington crossing prior to this new management’s not run it well. I like the changes that have been implemented because it engages residents to meet each other and form friendships. One of the reasons why I’ve been excited to move into an apartment was so I can meet new people. It was hard to do that if the complex was not hosting events or inviting people to meet each other. But I enjoy the food trucks, parties, and socials that have been going on since the beginning of the year. Great work!

This complex is terrible. I’ve never lived in a complex where the community constantly enters your apartment as much as this one does. A team always enters your room and they are extremely rude and sometimes don’t even knock before opening your apartment door. The front desk staff is rude and will tell you wrong information just to get you to sign with them. It is currently under new management so hopefully it is better now, but I’ve lived here for 3 years and I have not enjoyed the majority of my time.
I’ve lived at Lexington Crossing for the past four years and there is no better residence in the Gainesville community at a reasonable price

Friendly staff, quick maintenance response times, not too far from campus, bus stops in front of the community, my only problem is having to drive to the dumpster to throw away my trash instead of being able to throw it out in the trash cans in front of each building

Love it! Would recommend to other friends. I had hardwood and I appreciated that aspect. Lexington has other options of carpet and hardwood. I also appreciated how fast maintenance would come.

The tennis courts are great! The gym and pool are so fun to go to after class, and the cats around the complex are so friendly! I would like the lights at the courts to be on once it gets dark as it really limits me and my friends outdoors time

Nice place to live in, very quiet, only problem is the trash, compactor goes out quite often and gets overflowed with trash for days, other than that I really enjoy it.

It’s OK. Quiet. Safe. But the switch of owners, the management transition hasn’t been seamless. Three different managers within a matter of months and each one has lost track of where previous conversations were left at. Trash is still left by many people outside the buildings. Weed smell is still present around many buildings. Ask for something at the front desk, they don’t know the answer, they say they’ll get back to me, I don’t hear back after a few days, so I have to check in again and again constantly. My packages were taken from my porch by an employee without any notification and then I find out after a month that the packages were held in the office? I thought they were stolen. All in all, some structures and systems need to be put in place to provide a more seamless tenant experience. Maintenance also needs to have better manners and do better at keeping track of their tasks. They’ve continuously left many requests incomplete yet marked as completed after forgetting them.
The pool and other amenities are fantastic. The apartment complex is quiet at night, and the office staff are great. I wish there was a dumpster closer to our apartment, though.

Ever since we got the new management at Lexington, the experience has been much better, The professionalism is by far one of the best ive noticed since living here for the past 4-5 years. I appreciate the new maintenance men, who are respectful and do a good job of keeping the property clean. I appreciate the activity, the new additions to the website, and how they upgrade and take care of the property through beautician additions. The coolest thing is the shuttle. Gainesville has issues with transportation for students and UF employees, so having that addition has by far been one of the most selfless things Lexington could do to take care of their student and UF employee community.
The repair team is very good. The trash service could use work. I like the renovations. The service team up front are very friendly and have been able to resolve all my issues.

It’s ok. The biggest issue I have had is with my mail/packages I have had two packages show as “delivered” and yet when I go to the front desk they don’t have it! I also HATE the carpet in my room it literally doesn’t get clean no matter how many times I try to clean it! Overall, not the worst place ever but I don’t plan on living here next year

My resident experience mostly has to do with the gym as people at the gym are welcoming. They don’t judge and seem to always be available to help if you ask.

The neighborhood and amenities are nice, I use the gyms and study rooms a lot. We get two of everything since there are two subdivisions. And they have lots of bus stops to campus. The parking is also very nice; it’s free and there are lots of spaces for residents and visitors. Apart from the amenities, I don’t think the price is worth it for the actual apartments themselves. The rooms are decent but it’s a lot pricier from when I first moved in. The shared space and kitchen is a bit small. We don’t have a pantry or space to put our food and items.

I've loved it here, the buses make going to campus as a student easy and I also love the useful amenities that are offered. I think living here has 100% been more worth it that any other option such as an on campus dormitory.

Very good been here for 4 years, great staff very nice, apartments are nice. amenities are also very nice, there are two gyms and there is easy access between both phases.

It's an ok place to stay but the apartment is getting old. The toilet can get glogged pretty frequent recently Maintenance people respond really quick

The staff has always been friendly to me and very helpful! Brittany helped me out with a serious issue in my apartment, and was dedicated to helping me out, brainstorming solutions and communicating with upper management as well to get the issue resolved. The community events are pretty fun too!

Living in Lexington for over 2,5 years, things have gone down the hill unfortunately. A lot of suspect activities, noise and garbage. Maintenance is not the same anymore!

Move in day was quite stressful but I managed okay. Front desk staff were very helpful n making everything go mostly smoothly. Some hiccups on my part but the staff at LC were honestly very good.

The property is decent overall, but a few things have been particularly frustrating. For example, they removed the trash cans from the lower levels of each building and relocated them to a single, distant trash container for the entire complex, which is highly inconvenient. Additionally, it took them about three months to resolve an issue with the dryer. There’s also no signboard for the building number, making it difficult to order groceries or food online since pinpoint locations on apps sometimes don't work, and explaining the exact location can be a hassle. The appliances are outdated, including an LCD TV that looks like it’s from the mid 2000s. On top of that, the previous management took 1.5 years to replace the couch in my apt.

The overall layout of the apartments is nice. However, sometimes, the different phases is a little confusing, especially when it comes to receiving mail. Additionally, there are a lot fo smokers.

The garbage disposal service could use some work, we used to be able to just throw the garbage into bins right outside the apartment but now they make us take it to a dumpster
