Property Ratings at Lexington Manor
THIS IS NOT A REFLECTION OF IN-PERSON STAFF AND MANAGEMENT. This is wholly because of Princeton Management, not the property manager nor the maintenance workers. First off. Yes, this is the cheapest place in town by a couple hundred bucks. But that makes the difference between somewhere good to call home, and a stink hole. If your rent is late, $50 fee. The hard water is so bad, your dishwasher will be useless. My garbage disposal has worked for maybe 2 weeks out of 2 years despite them fixing it multiple times. I just stopped asking. Ever heard of a “landlord special”? This is it. Layers and layers of dirt and paint. The carpet falls apart just from normal wear and tear and vacuuming. If you live on the lowest level, you cant plant anything in the “Garden View” even though people with balconies can have plants galore. They will enter your apartment without your consent if you’re not home and they need to do maintenance. They will not work with you to be home for maintenance. My shower’s paint (yes there’s paint on the showers) is coming up simply because I regularly clean. The parking lot turns into a literal lake when it rains. They will tow your car if your tag is even a month out of date. If it’s rusty and “looks abandoned”. I can’t wait to get out of here.
This complex is a nice, quiet place to call home. The staff and residents are all friendly. The apartments are old, but they do continue to update, and they look exactly as they do in the model. Parking is abundant and the location is great. Although the one bedrooms are small, they feel very spacious and the bedroom is a great size. Lots of closet space, and I’ve had no issues with my faucets or appliances! The laundry facilities are convenient as well and not as big of a hassle as I thought they’d be. My complaints are that I wish the apartments had central air (there is an air conditioner box in the living room, but the cool air doesn’t go much past that room and it’s LOUD). Also, a lot of the residents smoke cigarettes which is just more of a nuisance when it comes wafting in through the windows. I also would prefer for the windows and doors to be more air tight as not to let in bugs, spiders, etc. Overall, a really great apartment for the rate. I’m happy here!
I highly recommend Lexington manor. We have lived here for 3 years and love it. The staff is friendly and hard working. The community is quit and we’ll cared for and has a great location for shopping and entertainment. We will be here for some time
