Property Ratings at Lexington Palms at the Forum
The Good: The office staff is friendly and regularly hosts community events, which adds a nice touch to the living environment. Unfortunately, several issues overshadow these positives. Living Conditions: When moving in, we were disappointed by discrepancies between what was promised and what we received, such as carpet instead of wood floors. The valet trash service is inconsistent, and the property struggles with trash buildup on weekends. Parking is also difficult unless you pay extra for a reserved spot. Maintenance & Repairs: We experienced frequent maintenance issues, including repeated A/C breakdowns and problems with appliances that took multiple attempts to fix. We were also charged for repairs related to pre-existing damage, which added frustration. Conclusion: Lexington Palms appears appealing on the surface, but the ongoing maintenance issues, unreliable services, and lack of transparency in billing detract from the overall experience.

Do not waste your time renting here!!! Nothing is luxury here. Dog poop & cigarette butts all over the property, i’ve had to call the health department on the pool because of the green mold that was growing in it. No one takes care of this property. The people in the office are completely unprofessional. There’s no face-to-face interaction when your lease is up you randomly get this note on your door saying put keys in SO unprofessional do not waste your time staying here it’s not luxury, we moved here from Pennsylvania as our first time living in Florida and what a regret we made to live here with our family of four kids. This place is not made for a family. Or kids There’s no playground. The pool is disgusting. You can’t play outside because there’s dog poop everywhere. I repeat do not waste your time renting!

Recently moved in with my boyfriend because it was close to the Uni where I’m getting my masters. Please live legit anywhere else. This is the worst apartment complex out of all the places any of my friends are living. The actual apartments themselves are horrible and they charge what other places charge for actual luxury. The gym is gross, the pool is always dirty, every single appliance was broken when we moved in. The list goes on. I come from a family of landlords in New York and this is NOT how we run our properties. Sad that I still have 10 months here I’d give anything to go back and sign elsewhere. Just save your money.

Living here has been an amazing experience for me. I came across this apartment complex in need of finding a new place to live in a brand new city. Rachael and Alison were so helpful from the very beginning. We submitted the application, got it reviewed, and then approved all in the matter of hours. Rachel and Alison made the move run smoothly and stress-free. The management really cares about their residents and you can feel it! Such a great place to live, and it’s beautiful! Awful customer service. They think they are doing you a favor. They do not disclose water pressure problem. They took off a major amenity (playground) for “safety reasons” and haven’t replaced it for over 2 months. You call management or even the corporate office and NEVER take time to resolve the issue. No customer service culture whatsoever.

Hi, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around. Moved in with my boyfriend and this place is a complete joke. Save your money and find somewhere else. They shut off our water for hours on end every two days this past month, closed down the pool multiple extended times (you still have to pay for it in full even if they don’t allow you to use it), never came to fix our closets that all broke from the hinges, do not do anything about complaints.
They are always very nice and helpful when I need something fixed. I wish the rent wasn’t too high so I could continue living here after my year is up but I will most likely be looking for a new place next year to expand.
Currently living there now, asked for some repairs due to poor installation and I’m being told I’m responsible for those repairs. Everyone always told me they had that happen to them upon moving out but I’m still living there, so unprofessional and unethical. Not sure what to do.
300-$500 in fees and additional charges will be added every month! And any issues you may have, the office staff will be sure to take their time on the matter or not resolve them at all. Lived here for over one year and my rent has gone up $400.00 for a tiny apartment that has plastic floors, counters and is literally falling apart from the inside out. Save yourself a year or more of stress, and constant anxiety and don’t even bother calling this hell hole.
Moved in a couple of months ago they did a terrible job painting the walls , kitchen counters and the bathtub paint is peeling off the air conditioning doesn't work in the master bedroom and maintenance comes but says everything is working prefect they say trash pick up is free but I get a fee of $15 and they limit the amount of trash that to 1 bag I ask in the office were was the recycling and they told me that they don't do recycling. When I sind the contract they told me watter was usually 80 I am paying more than 140 ..... And the list keep going I can't wait for the lease to expire. I do have to say the girls in the office are really nice can't say the same for the manager.
Never, ever get an apartment here unless you are prepared to be nickeled and dimed to death for a very average apartment! Luxury, ha! Plus, they are thieves with your deposit. A/C had to be fixed 5 times in the 11 months we lived there. If you go month to month they charge an extra $250 a month, after telling you it was $50. The ice maker was changed three times, the thermostat four times, and the fridge door did not close properly making the inside always full of water. We complained about the carpeting being stained and we would have it cleaned and the stains would come right back. The carpet cleaner said it was all the way down to the padding. We asked them to come inspect it so we wouldn’t be charged and they never did. Guess what? They charged us for the carpet and blamed our dog who NEVER went in that apartment - even during the hurricane. Shame on them and take my advice - rent somewhere else.
If I could rate Lexington 10 stars I would. I have lived here for almost a year and I do not have a single complaint. The staff is friendly and maintenance is great. If you are looking for somewhere to live long term and feel at home this is the place.
The good reviews are staff members. The office staff have no idea what each other is doing. Theres always extra fees....always. We have no plans of staying here. The bad reviews are the real ones. This place has potential but the office that runs it will run people off but it doesnt matter theyre still making money. You can easily afford a house with the extra fees they tack on out of seemingly nowhere.
I moved in a few months ago and love it here! I work in Naples but chose Fort Myers because of pricing. It is very close to the interstate so my commute is not that bad. My apartment is beautiful and everyone who works there is so nice. Very glad I chose this location :)
For anyone who is moving out of state, I want you to know that Lexington Palms is by far the best choice I have made. I moved from Ohio not knowing anything about the area. The office staff made the whole process super easy.
Management is top notch! I have lived here for a year and I just signed up for another year!
Management is extremely courteous. Maintenance is efficient and quick to repair things.Ground's maintenance keep the grounds spotless! They work hard and keep up the property, Also very friendly. I would recommend Lexington Palms to any of my friends.
Felicitaciones! Excelente Servicios. Solucion al problema, Educado Y respetozo. Congratulations! Wonderful costumer service, Maintenance is very educated and respectful I love this community.
Wonderful location and I love my neighbors! I will never move again

Thank you so much for your kind words. We love to hear from our happy residents!
this place is awful. the office staff doesn't listen to a word you say when you move in. I asked for QUITE and i got noise. I didn't want to hear any noise when trying to rest. they have single pane windows in the apartments. I have to work at 2 am in the morning so i go to bed early. NEVER again will i ever listen to the complex office again. neighbors in the foyer at 12 midnight talking loud on their phones where you can hear the whole conversation. People at the pool area until all hours of the night. and this is suppose to be quite i think not. DON'T MOVE HERE.. look else where.
In August 2015, 4 hockey players for the Florida Eels in Fort Myers decided to live together and chose Lexington Palms. One parent set up the lease and discussed how long the lease should be with an employee named Taylor. It was explained to Taylor that the hockey season could be over as early as March or as late as April. Taylor suggested that the boys sign the lease through April, with the understanding that should they need to end the lease in March, they would be allowed to without penalty. Almost immediately, the AC stopped working properly. Maintenance came out and said that it was hot in the apartment because the boys had the windows open (the windows were open because even with the AC on, it was 85 in the apartment). Several more complaints were made, yet the AC was not fixed. Over the Christmas break while the boys were back home, a leak occurred in a 3rd floor apartment bathroom, causing water damage to the boys' ceiling and causing part of the ceiling to fall on a tv, collapsing the tv stand. The emergency number was called since it was a weekend, and no one responded. 2 days later the leak was stopped. The damage to the ceiling has yet to be rectified calling in to question the possibility of the presence of mold. In late January 2016, the office at Lexington Palms was informed of the boys intent to vacate the premises and terminate the lease per their (now former) employee's agreement. The lease guarantor (a parent) was told that the lease was signed through April and that was it. We have been attempting to get Lexington Palms to not only return phone calls and emails, but to acknowledge and honor their own employee's word to end the lease in March. Instead, they refuse to respond. Ironically, a few hours after I first left the district manager a message and brought up the fact that the AC hasn't worked properly since move in, maintenance showed up and finally fixed it. I wanted to post this here to warn anyone considering living at Lexington Palms to be careful. Even if you have something in writing, they won't honor it. The office closes earlier than their posted hours on a whim (especially on the first couple days of the month) so that they can charge a late fee on rent (this happened to my son while on the phone with me). The main office doesn't respond to calls or emails unless it benefits them. No one responds to the after hours emergency number. The list goes on and on. Stay away....you'll be happy you did.
I have only been here for two months. I have had to put numerous request in to fix different things in the apartment. besides that I am one that has to get up early in the morning for work, and these people that live here think only of themselves. there are party's at the pool at all hours and NO ONE STOPS IT. you tell the office and nothing is done about it. Kids screaming all the time, people don't know how to close an apartment door with out slamming it. Cars with loud stereos. and BUGS BUGS BUGS. you have to deal with killing them yourself. the parents seem to just drop their kids off at the pool and the kids scream all day. some even throw things in the pool. there isn't proper walk way around the lake it is sea shells for pete sake.
Apartment upgrades are nice. Slowly improvements are getting done.
