Located in Northwest Columbus a few minutes north of Ohio State University and the Ohio State University Golf Club and directly south of the Ohio State University Airport, Northcrest is a vibrant, busy neighborhood between the Scioto River and the Olentangy River. Northcrest is bordered to the north by Bethel Road and to the south by Henderson Road. A large park sits in the center of the neighborhood, providing walking trails, a playground, tennis courts, and a basketball court. Henderson Road is a large shopping and dining district, lined with a variety of businesses, stores like TJ Maxx, the Fresh Market, and Kroger, and restaurants like Poong Mei Asian Bistro and BiBiBop Asian Grill.
Because Northcrest is just four miles north of OSU, it is popular with students looking for off-campus housing, faculty, and college football fans who want to be close enough to the Ohio Stadium to cheer on the Buckeyes.

Property Ratings at Lexington Park
My heater was not working, and I opened a ticket in the morning. Within two hours, the maintenance team member Dion checked the unit. Dion identified the issue and resolved it in a few minutes. Quick and reliable Maintenance. Thank you!!

Hello! We cannot thank you enough for sharing your review based on your 5-star maintenance experience with us at Lexington Park! We love that you mentioned Dion from our awesome maintenance team. Dion and our team work hard to ensure our residents' happiness. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there is anything we can do for you in the future—we are here for you! Cheers, and Happy Living!
The photos are very misleading. The “renovated” unit we toured looked terrible e.g. poor paint job, paint splatters on floor crooked outlets, etc. Not to mention there was a very strong odor in the unit as well as the hallway outside. Additionally we were told we would receive an $150 off discount and when we didn’t receive it they refused to refund us.Be prepared to lose upwards of $300 just for applying.

Hello, Thank you for reaching out. Our team is made up of a caring team that works hard to ensure that communication is key and that our prospects are knowledgeable and have a true glimpse of what our community has to offer. During your tour, to our knowledge, you did not find the community to be a suitable fit for you, yet still followed up the tour with an application. In order for our community to run smoothly, we follow all company policies, and that includes following through with the signed documentation that states all application fees are non-refundable, regardless of the applicant's outcome and results. If you have any specific questions or concerns, we invite you to reach out to our team, who is happy to walk you through the application process again. Thank you so much.
I'm a current tennant who has had their AC set at 66 degrees since yesterday evening. Currently (still set at 66), the temperature in my apartment is 78 and the AC has not turned off (can't imagine what my bill will look like). Also, this building is riddled with bugs. They try to come and treat the buildings, but to no avail, the bugs remain. It simply becomes an inconvenience to constantly prepare your unit for treatment so frequently (although, I'm sure the treatments do something, so I would be afraid to see just how bad they would get with no action at all). These places aren't much cheaper (if at all) than other area apartments. My recommendation, look elsewhere.

Hello, Thank you for reaching out. While we do not have you in our system as a registered resident, we do care and want to help in any way that we can. Our team addresses issues promptly as they arise, and we value our residents and their homes. We invite you to please give our office a call so we can assist you further, as we believe communication is the best policy. You may also reach out at residentservicesoh@monarchinvestment.com. We look forward to hearing from you. Best Regards.
It's 2024 and apparently the only way that we can communicate with tenants is by leaving notes on the door 48 hours prior to maintenance/pest control entrance. And, be prepared for that to happen often. Currently, I'm receiving the 2-day pest control notification every two weeks. The most recent included a request to remove everything (yes, everything) from both my kitchen and my bathroom. The bugs are disgusting and out of control. What has management done for current tenants? Nothing. Charge you $150 if you're not prepared for the 2-day notice of entry/treatment. Also included in the order, "please remain away from your apartment for at least 3 hours after treatment". The walkways and staircases are also falling apart/very unsafe. Often closed/unusable due to repair. It's not like you're saving a ton of money by renting here, you can absolutely find a similarly sized property without all of these issues for a similar price. I HIGHLY recommend you rent elsewhere if you can. These places will likely be demolished in the near future, really the only answer for these buildings. Currently discussing my options for moving forward with an attorney as living with bugs is disgusting and unacceptable.

This apartment complex was taken over by monarch investments and since it gas been taken over they have raised peoples rents make exorbitant extra charges on your account. example 120.00 because we weren't home for a pest inspection. office is rude and uncaring. horrible place dont move here
Management, maintenence & grounds crew might as well not have any staff because they don't do any work. They treat people like dollars instead of customers. New owners, New policies and "convenience fees" that didn't exist when I signed. I can't get out of my lease without huge fees

Though we regret that you are disappointed, we greatly appreciate that you have taken the time to share your feedback. Since acquiring this community, we have been working extremely hard to make sure all documentation, lease details, and necessary repairs that were left from the prior ownership are attended to. Our maintenance team in particular has been focusing on completing numerous projects that we are excited to have completed for the enjoyment of all residents (completing all unfinished and new work orders, pest control, and necessary tree removal are just a few examples of what our team is working on). It is regrettable when lease agreements are perhaps not properly communicated/enforced at the time that they are signed and unfortunately, we can't speak to how the community was managed prior to us acquiring it. We are eager to create a harmonious environment for all to enjoy going forward. I'd love to speak to you further about your experience. Please email me at residentservicesOH@monarchinvestment.com.
Office management writes the positive reviews to offset re negatives. There is trash everywhere. It’s loud EVERYDAY. The police are here every weekend. There is no organization and if you have a problem management does nothing.

I am so sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience while living at our property. Please feel free to e-mail me directly at residentservicesOH@monarchinvestment.com. Best regards.
Location is really good in a very nice area, kinda the burbs, close to major arteries, bus is close by, grocery stores close by. They have a pool. They do accept most pets, even though I don't have one. The management company is pretty good, no major problems, and when I do have an issue with something, it seems we can come to an agreement or they address it in a timely manner. Because of the situation with the coronavirus and the fact that I had been on unpaid leave for two months they were willing to work with me when it became difficult for me to be on time concerning rent. Overall my stay here has been uneventful and pleasant. For the most part people have their kids in at reasonable hours and residents respect sound levels and disturbances are really non-existent. Its quite a diverse neighborhood, the rent is quite reasonable considering the area. I will say though that every year since I moved in they have raised the rent. Also I live in one of the very limited amount of studios on the property, apparently there are only a few on the property, I kinda lucked out I guess. Maintenance is for the most part on the ball, I think they've got some new guys trying to work on a backlog of stuff that prior management companies have kinda fanned on. They painted the trim on all the buildings so the place looks clean, and they replaced the roof on my building and I believe a number of the other buildings as well. One thing that is kinda a downer is that the selection of cable companies and internet providers is really limited, we have a choice of two, at least in the building I'm located at. I'm not sure if this is fault of the management or just the surrounding infrastructure, IE utility pole access etc. So I'm stuck in a 'higher than I'd like it to be' bill , which is really unfortunate for me at least. I've seen some of the other reviews of Lexington Park Apts. , and I don't think they've given the management company a fair chance. From my experience the company is pretty diverse racially across the board, and the employees of the company seem to be genuine and well meaning/willing to help. I personally have not had any bad interactions with the staff. I give them a four out of five, which in my book is pretty darn good.
Lexington Park Apartments has been one of the best places I have lived in! The office staff is always nice and Melissa is AWESOME. She made the process of moving in so easy for me. I highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in an apartment in Columbus. I moved here from 7 hours away, and I dont at all regret my decision.
Great location! Quite neighborhood, with lots of extra pool, dog park, fitness center , laundry. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
I love this side of town, this is exactly where I want to be. The updated unit is beautiful and I get tons of compliments. In unit washer and dryer and updated appliances for a very reasonable price. Very nice community all my neighbors are pleasent !
I love living here it's super nice and quiet and never any issues with the people in the office they are always willing to work with you
I love everything about the property! It is in a great location, my apartment is very spacious and you get your money's worth for sure! There are lots of restaurants and stores near by. Nothing bad ever happens in the complex or the area in general. I highly recommend anyone that's interested to speak with heather, she was with me through viewing the apartment and also if I have any questions or needed maintenance she was very prompt and kind. The other staff members are also very attentive and nice.
I’ve lived here 7 months and extremely happy with the management. The amenities are great. Laundry. Dog park and pool. Maintenance very professional and timely.
This is a great place to live location is within walking distance to gas stations and grocery stores
New management team is getting a lot done. They are have planned a lot of community get together and have incentives as well. The new maintenance men are very nice and make sure things are fixed.
After a month and a half of calling everyday to make sure that things were moving along, we finally got moved in. Throughout the move-in process, management was very unhelpful and would just tell us what they thought we wanted to hear. We moved into a two bedroom "renovated" unit and it was the furthest thing from that. The unit was just slopped together in just a few days (we asked our neighbor because management had been saying that they were working on it for about three weeks). When we moved in, the dish washer wouldn't drain, our hot water didn't work (the gas was on), the shower was caved in and had a crack in it with little to no water pressure because it leaks behind the wall, the light switch didn't work in one of the bedrooms, the closet light didn't work in one of the closets, our microwave door won't open completely because it is hung to close to a wall, some of the cabinets are missing shelves, and the cherry on top is that our a/c still doesn't work. Of course we talked to management and they keep telling us that they're going to get all of these issues resolved, but I feel like these should have been fixed prior to us moving in, especially if we're paying extra for a "renovated" unit. Don't waste your time, sweat, tears, or money on this place. There are a lot of nicer places close to this location for around the same price.
I moved in last year. When I moved in, there was no door for my bedroom closet, I was told that the request had been put in before I signed my lease and that I would have a new door within a week .. I still don’t have a door for my closet. I didnt have AC last summer. I’ve called repeatedly this summer to have it fixed, it still hasn’t been fixed. Anytime I speak with the office, I’m told that maintenance isn’t there or that they’ll be up to fix my AC within a few hours .. still hasn’t happened. I’ve left voicemails, gone to the office to speak with them directly .. still nothing. I’ve had to put in numerous requests for roaches. Literally, the entire building has complained about roaches. They ignore those too. They’re too busy fixing up the outside of the apartments, so people think that the inside is nice. Don’t be fooled. Once my lease is up, I won’t be renewing it. If I could give less than one star, I would.
After living here for 10 years over the past couple of years we have had three leaks that flooded our apartment each time nothing was done by the complex to clean it up. This last time occurred on 6/28/19. The following day my roommate went to the office to get someone down here to clean up the water. He was told someone would be there within the hour 6 hours later after losing a day of work we finally had to call the after hours number and finally 2 maintenance men the head maintenance man and another gentleman came down. The head maintenance man told us we would get a new range (water was an inch deep in the oven) a new fridge new blinds and new flooring. He said that since we lived here for 10 years the floors needed replaced. The following day they did deliver the range and the blinds. Three weeks later after not hearing anything else i called the office. I was then informed by the office manager that the employee no longer worked here and that she could not let them replace our flooring unless she approves it. And that she knew nothing about it. So now we i guess have to figure out what to do in order to get what we were promised by Lexington Park. God only knows what is growing in these carpets that were water logged. I finally had to rent a carpet cleaner myself since no one from the complex even offered to have the carpets cleaned. Water in the walls and the ceiling how do we know if mold is growing? I wasn't even angry until we were LIED to. Why tell me you are going to do all that and then do nothing. Makes no sense to me
Happy with the new management company Buildings are being painted. Sports court. Pool area is great. We have a new fitness center with new equipment. Apartments are large. Good value.
Lived here for a year. Nothing ever got fixed my building didn't have a/c for the entire summer and the pool was always locked. The staff is rude/rarely on site and maintenance is awful. If anyone gives this above a 2 star rating it's probably just the staff trying to bait and switch you.
veryvery bad service and organisation dont waste your time with them i spend 50 dollars in taxi to see thier apts after they give me appointment and confirmation for availability .than they say we don t have any apt disponible.
If you like country quiet living, you will love Lexington Park. There is plenty of great eating places like City BBQ, Rita's Ice Cream, McDonald's , Cucoo's Mexican Restaurant, Rooster's, Bibibop and plenty others, the Post Office also within a 5 minute walking distance.
There's new management again, this time from out of state...(NJ). Fixing "Washer and Dryers" without any notification to those living in apartments.

New management is slowly but surely cleaning the place up. Decent location, friendly neighbors, VERY pet friendly.
Its very small. The kitchen is out dated and it's way to small for my family. There are to many open door ways. The rent is to high for a 2 bedroom.
I was hesitant about Lexington Park Apartments just because of the sheer amount of horrendous reviews I saw online, however, a friend told me that the new management had proven to already be more helpful so I gave it a shot. The model two bedroom they show you looks fantastic for the price (just $699), however, they do not show you the room you will be getting becorehand which is a major con. I was in a time crunch and needed a place ASAP so just I went ahead and blindly put down the admin fees. It's been about a week now and I haven't had any major problems yet. However, the one bedroom apartment I'm in is definitely very old. It's spacious, newly painted, and new carpets have been put in, but the doors/cabinets/drawers are all chipping and uneven and there is no dishwasher or washer/dryer unit (other than the obscenely priced, tiny ones down the hall). I had to have painters come in again the next day to finish up a horrendous countertop paint job and am still waiting on maintenance to fix broken drawers. We'll see how long and how much insistence it'll take to get that done. All in all, it's decent for the price ($599 for a one bedroom) and in an excellent location (close to 315, most major stores, OSU campus, etc.) and is great for those students/post-grads/young professionals on a budget. Make sure to ask about move-in and rent reductions offers!
