Life at Forest View

These apartments are roach-infested. I killed between 2-5 roaches every single day. Please avoid these apartments like your life depends on it.

Living here as a single woman has been easy, safe and the office staff are super helpful to help with any concern.

A great place to call home! It enables me to build towards my goals. I wont be here forever, but it certainly has been the perfect spot to start over.

The Life at Forest View has been my home away from home. I am not from this area and came here to work, but I love my little apartment and I will continue to stay. They have a professional and helpful staff and awesome maitnence team. The complex even has a gym and 2 pools for its residents. I love it here.

Don't move here unless you expect to be disrespected and shoved aside when you have concerns. The only thing I can say is the maintenance guys are good or have been in my case at least. Except when my bathroom ceiling was full of mold and they told me to spray bleach on it. Now I found mold in many places my closet my bedroom because of a leaky air conditioner. Spraying bleach on it is not remediation for mold. Also I have to buy my own pest control even though I'm paying $7 a month. Every time somebody moves in or out they spray The empty apartment in the roaches are coming down to mine for a few days. But I ordered mine and I give it out to my neighbors and we have no roach problems except that those few days. Otherwise this place is totally roach infested. My upstairs neighbor moved because she had mold in her closet. Don't move here this place is cheap, but you get what you pay for in the end.

Horrible. Unless you like roaches, drug dealers pit bulls and terrible Management in the laundry rooms don't work. Just stay away.

Just don’t. You will be lured in by the staged apartment and the fast talk of management telling you “they’ve cleaned up the place.” Then when you have multiple issues right off the bat since they didn’t inspect the apartment before you moved in, they treat you like you’re the problem instead of admitting they didn’t really prep the apartment for move in. You will have constant issues and the manager does not feel she has to uphold the lease agreement to the fullest but is quick to attempt eviction or force you to move due to unsafe conditions. Save your time, money and sanity. This is NOT your future home.

I have been here almost three years. I love my apt. It is quiet here, and makes living here nice. I know we have a roach problem. But it is getting better. I strive to keep them out of here. As soon as the crepe myrtle tree blooms outside my door, it will be lovely. I want to commend Julie, she works in the office occasionally. She is so kind and caring. Ronica you are doing a great job, and Francisco, you Rock!!!!

I moved in around 9/2022. The inside of the apartment looked great and modern! However, there are quite a few bug issues and odor issues. When I initially moved in, I filled out my inspection paperwork and noted there were a few small roaches found inside. The issue was not fixed. A couple of months later, I requested a pest control request, and it was “completed” but not cleared up. On my next rent bill, I was charged for pest control with complete disregard of what I noted in my move in discrepancies. Additionally, residents are allowed to smoke within their apartment but the smell gets through the vents and everyone within that building can smell exactly what they are partaking in. I like the area for its affordability but it is not managed well. Also, laundry. It used to be convenient but the ease of use was removed without any notice given. If you want to live here, be prepared for roaches, strong smells, and doing laundry at your inconvenience.

I was moving out of state and applied here. I was so excited thinking it'd be the perfect place to restart my life. UNTIL AFTER I APPLIED. I wasn't notified I was approved. I had to call multiple times to find out. Being that I was moving from out of state I had furniture delivered to my apartment along with some housewarming gifts from fried. Surprise surprise they rented my apartment to someone else and changed my move-in date the DAY BEFORE I was supposed to move. Let me say that again. The day before an out of state renter arrived they changed my move-in date to an entire 2 weeks later. NO NOTIFICATION at all. What happened next? I got SCREWED. They stopped responding to me. My gifts, furniture, the money I spent on my plane ticket, and a hotel after being left with no place to go. Their response? STOPPED RESPONDING. I adamantly feel like not only did they steal from me, but they ruined my life leaving me homeless until I could JUST RECENTLY get back on my two feet. I would seriously, with all hatred in my heart never wish this place on my worst enermy.

The Life at Forest View is a newly updated, affordable, and quiet place to live. The parking is adequate, the amenities are plentiful, and the office staff as well as maintenance are great. You wouldn't expect to be on a first name basis with the office of such a large community, but Amy and Chasity are kind and always helpful. The community has plenty to offer for families with children. Onsite laundry is coinless and smart phone app integrated so it's easy to see when the facilities are available. I would absolutely recommend this complex to anyone.

The residences are nice and residents are nice all in all

Overall I have not regreted moving in these apts. they are nice newly remodeled apartments. I have two kids and it was a nice start for us. staff is amazing along with maitence any issues I have had has been resolved in a timely manner.

I enjoy living here and have for almost a year and a half, but the neighbor situation is getting old

I've had an amazing experience with every staff member i've interacted with. They've truly gone above and beyond to make sure that I live in a community I am proud to be in.

I like the apartments overall but it could be fixed on response time and services response time as well.

I've only lived lived here for a month. I have NO complaints, The Staff here are very polite, from the Office Staff to the Maintenance Staff. The apartments are very nice and clean. If you have a dog, they have a little fenced in dog park where you can take their leash off while he/she are in there to run around. It's a pretty Big Complex, but seems very quiet. I feel pretty safe here. They have so many lights lit up including porch lights at night, not only that Clute PD patrols throughout the day and night pretty often!!!!

everything is really good besides the maintenance

The new appliances,fixtures,safety,attention to detail,and overall peaceful,pleasant,and CLEAN conditions at this complex make it a nice place to live. The FRIENDLY,HELPFUL Staff(See Chasity,she's Great!),the Specials,and community promoted atmosphere along with Very good rates make it a Step ABOVE what I expected. The Life at Forest View gets a VERY High rating from me.

Great area! Best burger place in B County right next door.

I love living here and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. It's affordable and safe.

I like it here, most of the neighbors are good, the maintenance crew are awesome.. haven't really met any of the office people yet.

My experience at The Life at forest View has been great! The community has been peaceful, and the staff is great, especially Anthony he has been awesome and a great value to the company. If it werent for him I dont think I would be here, thanks Anthony!

Beautiful inside and out. New appliances and hardwood floors really make a big difference. Apartments are beautiful on the outside also

Since the day we moved in we have always had safety issues! The very first night I had to call 911 and on multiple other occasions. We've been nothing but great tenants and our safety Concerns always get dismissed. New management still doesn't help tenants or do they take tenants safety concerns seriously. They're laundry facility is a joke it always eats your money. And since I've lived here for 2years the Gym has never been open. Pool haha rarely ever open good luck with that
