In a downtown district where every corner scene belongs on a postcard, Market West manages to stand out. With a strong sense of self and a collaborative community, the neighborhood exudes a distinctive character that doesn’t compete with, but complements, the neighboring historic Old Market.
Together, both neighborhoods create the western-most portion of Downtown Omaha. This centralized location blossoms with opportunities for residential communities and commercial businesses, as well as civic and nonprofit organizations. Renovated brick buildings line original cobblestone alleys, containing rentals situated alongside diverse neighbors like a family-run grocery store, international development foundation, architectural firm, and the Omaha Symphony offices.
Perhaps this collection of professional establishments, anchored to the neighborhood under posh lofts and upscale apartments, defines Market West more than anything else.

Property Ratings at Limelight at Sixteenth
This is one of the best buildings downtown Omaha! With some of the best staff around, The Limelight easily stands out from its competition. Centrally located to all the great stuff that Omaha has to offer, you'd hardly ever have to leave the area for a night of fun. We have loved our unit since day one, and have not encountered issues. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to live somewhere modern, with an authentic feel to it!

I've lived here for five months now. My time here has been wonderful. Jesse has been amazing. I'm always worried about an apartment's management team, but they all have been great. Maintenance is convenient and easy to schedule online and all my work orders have been completed within two days. The emergency maintenance team took about an hour to arrive once scheduled to replace a battery in the smoke detector, he stayed to ensure the issue was fixed too. The cost is not terrible, there are definitely cheaper places to live that are not downtown, but I like to think I'm paying more for quality management. The best part since I am in the military is the quiet hours. Noise has never been an issue.

Thank you for the 5 Star rating and kind words about our community and staff! We are thrilled to hear that you are enjoying the community. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make the lifestyle here more enjoyable! Thanks again! Ashley-Seldin Company
When I first moved in, the management team was amazing but in the year I have been here, management has switched three times. No one has compared to the original group and when a company can't retain good employees, it says a lot about them. My building is considered "luxury living" and although residents pay the luxury living price tag, there are no luxuries...well, we have a coffee machine and when they maintain it, it's a nice perk! There are few things worse though than walking out for your morning cup of Jo though and the machine it out of service...which happens all too often! My place is nice and a decent location but there is NO sound barrier between units. When my neighbors are talking in a normal tone, I can hear every word. It's an old building that's been remodeled and despite being "new" construction, the windows are breezy and the insulation is poor. My electric bill in the winter for a small one bedroom is well over $200 every month. Our building has alley access where a lot a sketchy people hang out and there's subsidized housing across the alley, which also produces some questionable characters.
