Highlights: - well insulated apartment resulting in very low electric bill - flat rate gas heated water system (long hot showers made easy) - clean complex (staff pick up litter every morning) - safe and quiet environment - great value - friendly leasing office staff with a love for animals - plenty of poop bag stations around complex - good sized dog park area - plenty of fire prevention equipment - Amazon delivery hub - 15 month lease options - great unit floorplan - proper screened windows that open and close - friendly and timely maintenance crew Negatives: - fitness center is in need of some upgrades and replaced equipment - like most apartments you’ll be able to tell when someone has the washer or dryer running (doesn’t bother me but good to know)

So we had talked to them about maybe doing a 2bedroom if one came available but settled on and agreed upon a 1bedroom. Well, they had a 2bedroom listed online - 2bedroom on main floor. So my husband called them and asked about it. They said “yes we have it available. We can upgrade you to the 2bedroom, but will Keep the 1bedroom on you also for now just in case something happens”. Well, they lied! They took the 1bedroom off of us and gave it to someone else then the 2 bedroom became unavailable bc the current tenant backed out of moving. And they now have no other apartments available until mid July and we have to be moved into a new place by June 30! They did not apologize for the mix up nor try to offer any other solutions. No one has taken any responsibility for how we got screwed over. Pretty much told my husband “sorry, we have nothing available until July or August”. We aren’t last minute people. We have been searching for at least 2-3 months to find a place to rent, thought we had it all secured only to find out less than 30 days away that we don’t have anywhere to go now, after being guaranteed we had an apartment with them!! And they don’t even seem to care that we now have place to go and it’s their fault!

If I could leave this apartment zero stars I would. I can’t say anything for the actual apartment complex but the management and front office have ABSOLUTELY no idea what is going on. My mom called the last week of November for an apartment that was on the first floor and pet friendly and available the first week of January. First person she talked to said they an apartment that fit all of that. She gets a call the next week... that apartment isn’t available anymore. They only have apartments that aren’t pet friendly and that are smaller than the one she originally wanted. She said that’s fine. She gets a call the next day asking if all her information was correct. It wasn’t. They had her moving in the first week of December instead of January. They then come back saying if that’s the case then they do have a pet friendly and larger apartment available for her. She says perfect. Goes and gets our cat all the necessary vaccinations so she’s good to go. Today is exactly a week before my mom was set to move in. She gets an email saying they don’t know what happened but that apartment is now gone and they only have a smoking and non smoking room left but that they are both not pet friendly. She is a week from moving across the country from AZ to AL so she says fine. Even though I paid for my cat to get vaccinated I will take the non smoking room. THEN they come back and say oh sorry that room is gone now too. Only the smoking room is available. My mom is allergic to cigarette smoke. She has already paid all the admin and application fees and should not be stressing about not having a place to live a week out from her moving. I have lived in many apartments and have never experienced such poor communication and organization among a front office staff in my life. My mom hasn’t even moved in yet and they can’t get their crap together. What’s going to happen if she does move in? So to summarize the front office staff is straight trash and do not care about the people living or trying to live in these apartments.

This place will take your security deposit with no explanation. I received less than half of my security deposit back with zero explanation as to why. I did not damage a single thing in the apartment, I left it spotless, and did not even hang anything on the walls. Calculate the loss of your security deposit into your monthly rent.

The leasing staff is great. When Jennifer wasn’t available the others stepped in to help me in a professional matter. These apartments are very comfortable and very quiet, no big city noise. I come from a small town and these are perfect if you want to get your “feet wet” in this area. So far I’m nearly a month into my lease and have enjoyed it!

These apartments use Bloom Broadband, the worst internet service around. Internet randomly stops working then it takes at least a day for the “work order” to go through. They don’t work weekends either, so you’re hosed when it goes out on a Friday. Went out today at 5:30pm. Oops, the office that can reset your port is gone for the day. Monday is a holiday, so in 4 DAYS they’ll do a 5 minute reset to get it working. The apartments are surrounded by farming fields. Everything is a 15 minute drive minimum. And oh my god, the spiders own this place. But that’s what happens when apartments are built in the middle of nowhere.

Upon my arrival to move in, the leasing agent I encountered seemed very uptight and disgusted that she had to move me in, because I was early. She wasn't the leading agent I had been working with either. Ontop of that she had the nerve to cuss in front of me. Other than that I'm pleased with my apartment, and the property is beautiful.
I lived there for a while and the place was poorly built first and formost. I lived in the first building built and the ac was always breaking the landscaping is horrible thanks to waynes. There is a huge water drain in the middle that is a great bredding ground for mosquitos u cannot have a gas or charcoal grill only electric, unless u pay 100 more dollars a month to rent a garage that isnt finished out inside with little to no lighting. There is no grill area the land around it is all hilly so there are hardly any places to put a grill and due to their pet friendly standards u hear alot of barki.g dogs all the time. And on top of all of it the sound from the hwy is horrible its almost as the walls are made of cardboard. And u cant have glass beer bottles around the pool even with a couzie. U pay too much for little in return. The only posotive thing i can say is their maint. Man was the best i have ever had. One night i plugged in my mini fridge in my bedroom and it shot all the lights out when the light switch was removed it showed how the wires had caught on fire possibly could have caught my place on fire they have no playground equipment the clubhouse u have to pay money to use and they do not care if ur neighbors are loud they just care about getting rich please take my advice almost 900 dollars a month is not worth a gym and a lame pool
Even though I am not the first tenant to live in my apartment, the cleanliness and sturdy appliances have made it seem like I was since day one. The staff is helpful and maintenance goes above and beyond to help out in anyway they can. The pool area and fitness area are well-kept and above average for the Madison area. If your commute involves locations all over North Alabama, this is the place to be. The apartments are less than a half-mile from the I-565/I-65 junction, which makes travel and long commutes much easier than other area apartments. And the in unit washer and dryer are included at the same rate as many other places that only provide the hook-up. I looked at over 30 apartments in Athens, Decatur, Huntsville, and Madison, and could not be more pleased with my decision to call Limestone Creek Apartments "home."
