Filled with pre-1900s buildings, several listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Lincoln Park boasts well-preserved architecture across the neighborhood with splashes of color. This unique, industrial part of Denver’s metro area is relatively affordable for the premier location just outside of Downtown with unbeatable proximity to neighborhoods like Civic Center.
Lincoln Park has a light rail that makes commuting easy, as well as proximity to Interstate 70. As a part of Denver’s Santa Fe Arts District, Lincoln Park is a great place to live for those looking for a sense of culture in the Denver metro. Enjoy local art galleries, museums, shops, restaurants, and breweries like the Renegade Brewing Company on West 9th Avenue or the Molecule Effect, a coffee house and wine bar in a hip space.

Property Ratings at The Lincoln at Speer
Sure, the rent is cheap, but this place is the worst apartment complex imaginable. Everything from untreated mold and broken elevators to the office ignoring calls and e-mails. Cars often broken into and stolen, packages always stolen, broken parking lot gates, broken doors, and broken fire alarms. This place is currently under investigation with the health AND fire department, yet the office refuses to admit or fix issues.
There are so many problems with this place that I think the homeless people on colfax go through less BS than we do living here. The elevators are always broken, AC hardly works, and management dodges every question you send their way.
First off, the ‘gated’ parking garage that I pay $95 a month for has had a broken gate pretty much 50% of the time that I’ve lived here. I have called 3 times in the last 3 weeks straight that it’s been broken and they dont even answer the phone anymore or call me back. I have made this complaint at least twice a month since moving in last September, I think they just know my number now and dont answer. First month we moved in, my car got broken into and was clearly an attempted theft, the dash was torn to shreds. It was totaled. I get home from work at midnight most nights and in this area an open parking garage is a serious safety concern. The gym a/c has been broken/ nonexistent for at least a month. It is currently 95 degrees outside and they have the garage doors to the gym open. The thermostat in the gym says 89 degrees. I heard someone complaining to the front desk that all 3 elevators are down in their building and she has had to walk up to the 7th floor for the last 2 days
This place is the worst. They have repeatedly turned off the build water with out informing me in advance that it would be turned off. They have repeatedly blocked access to my garage with little to no notice. I signed a 15 month lease but they are demanding renewal at 12 months. I have repeatedly reached out to leasing office but my emails, phone calls, and inperson visits have been completely ignored. DO NOT LIVE HERE! You can do better.
Absolutely worst year of my life living in this apartment complex. It is impossible to deal with management and have issues/concerns addressed. I had mold growing in my kitchen for months from preexisting water damage and after multiple maintenance requests and months of waiting, they replaced the affected cabinets with cabinets that don't match the rest of the kitchen. While I have been living here, multiple cars have been broken into, there were gun shots fired within the building, and I come home to multiple police cars in the parking lot every other month. The place does not feel safe and management is awful. Avoid this place!!!
I moved to this apartment last year and was happy. I love my building. The management? Awful. The crimes? Happening to cars bikes and packages. The water, heat and AC? Not working. I was happy to give it more time. I was rudely awaken by the management trying to increase rent to 3k. Do not move here. This place is BAD. Shoutout to the maintenance crew. They are great. The management though, happy to kick you out with hardly any warning even if they told you otherwise weeks before. Screw this place.
