Between Bismarck and the border with Montana there is only one sizable town on Interstate 94, and that location is Dickinson, North Dakota. Set in big, rolling hills prairie land, Dickinson was first established in 1881 as settlers and prospectors pushed westward looking for land and ranching resources. Interestingly enough, the town was first settled and founded by a New Yorker -- W.S. Dickinson from Malone, NY.
Today, Dickinson is home to almost 20,000 residents, which is a growth of more than 2,000 new neighbors since 2010. Much of the grown has been associated with the oil industry boom the state has been realizing with shale deposit mining and the demand for technical labor in drilling and geology. In fact, with all the workers counted, some estimate that Dickinson has more than 30,000 residents, a good portion being oil workers.

Property Ratings at Lincoln Meadows
I’ve lived here for 2 winters, and both winters we have had issues with heating in the building. The building uses boiler heat that can’t keep up with the cold temps and is constantly in need of being serviced. My apartment was 60 degrees and management will simply give you a space heater (which is obviously not safe to leave on overnight, and which you are paying electric for). Heating issues in the building are extremely frustrating. Building constantly smells like weed from people hotboxing their apartments. Carpets in hallways are stained badly, and sconces in hallways are broken and uncovered. In the 2.5 years I’ve lived here the property has slowly gone downhill and not been kept up very well.
I love the apartment, the staff was friendly and helpful, however, if you don't like dog poop all over the grass, dogs barking for hours on end, hearing every thump and bump, and very limited parking this place is not for you.
Terrible place and the staff is beyond incompetent. Ended up paying more for another apartment and I am so happy that Lincoln Meadows will not have my business. Don't even bother trying this place, I promise you. Submitted my application three weeks ago and they have not called me back since. It's almost at the point that I think this place is just a scam and they don't actually run a business. Never have spoken to a staff member who could answer my question so I stopped trying. Worst place.
When I first moved in these apartments I loved them and still do! I also love the property manager. After about a month of living in the apartments (they were brand new) problems started happening and the maintenance fixed them right away. My only complaint is that I hate how cheaply they were built, I've had to have maintenance come up and fix quite a few things. Other than that I am really happy living here. They do make living Simply Better.
Lincoln Meadows (run by Simply Better Apartments) is an excellent place to live. They go above and beyond to provide an easy renting experience. We have lived in the same apartment almost two years and have never had a complaint. We are moving back to Georgia and are even looking to rent with the same company because of how satisfied we have been! Thank you Lincoln Meadows and Simply Better… You are truly simply better!
I live in a 2 bedroom and 1 bath in Lincoln Meadows for $1850. Sure it may be expensive but that is just what you get when you rent an apartment with this quality. For example a large kitchen packed with a microwave, dishwasher and oven. It also has an air condition in the living room. The living room is already covered with a carpet while the kitchen, dining room and bathroom are covered with tiles. Near the living room is a balcony with a glass door and blinds. All the room including the kitchen, bathroom and living room have fully functioning outlets and all this is just a fraction of all the good stuff that come with it. So if you want to know more go check it out for yourself then maybe you might have more to say about Lincoln Meadows.
