There’s an unmistakable charm to Springfield, a city that exudes the allure of a small town while housing nearly 115,000 residents. Blending modern conveniences with a historic atmosphere, the capital city of Illinois — and birthplace of President Abraham Lincoln — is a compelling Midwest metropolis for renters of all types.
Aside from its presidential history, Springfield is full of culinary delights and entertainment destinations. Cozy Dog Drive-In alleges to have made the first corn dog in 1946, and it’s always a popular spot. Enjoy the shops at White Oaks Mall, fun at Knight’s Action Park, and plenty of breweries just north of the city center. There’s a number of parks and excellent educational opportunities, including the University of Illinois Springfield. The city comes together to enjoy annual events like the Illinois State Fair and more.

Property Ratings at Lincoln Square Apartments
Loud music is played extremely late at night by other tenants. Management ignores complaints. Lived here for a year and have yet to make it a full week without being woke up to neighbors loud music.
Eric and Carol treat their clients with high priority and respect. When they say they’re going to do something they do it. My wife and I can’t say enough about Lincoln Square Apartments!!!
I heartily recommend Lincoln Square Apartments. The building managers and maintenance crew went above and beyond in accommodating me and my roommate and making us feel at home. The apartments encircle a beautiful courtyard complete with tables, grills and a pool. My unit itself was well-maintained, with spacious rooms, new carpet (in mine, at least) and a washer/dryer. The property also sits in the heart of Springfield’s historic downtown, walking distance or just across the street from many restaurants, bars, etc.
