I love the renovated unit and the staff is really sweet. I’ve lived here for 7 months and I like it! The location is perfect as it is close to my work. Maintenance has always responded quickly to my requests and resolved issues quickly. I haven’t had any problems till now. My only problem is the pools haven’t been open since I moved in. The pools look better than when I first moved here so hopefully they open back up for summer time.

The rent is priced well, there is plenty of apartment space, and the grounds are kept nice. They have a police/security stand, which gives you the impression of safety but after being there for a couple of months never saw anyone inside the stand. I would see a police officer backed up by the leasing office. But it seemed pretty useless. Because he wasn't monitoring the grounds just backed up on his cellphone and never really saw him there after 10-11p. My BIGGEST issues with these apartments were rodents. There are problems with mice. I stayed on the third floor and saw a mouse. Yes the 3rd floor. Yes they have pest control that comes but in my opinion they are not efficient. My neighbors on lower floors also complained of mice, much more than I ever had but anyways one or 10 that's defiantly an issue. I saw people break their lease and move and then the office would move other people in and act like nothing happened as if they knew nothing of the problem when the new people complained. Office Staff: it changes constantly and now they have new managers from when I stayed there. When I first moved in they told me that they did not accept public housing vouchers or anything like that. Told me there were few people there that still had it because they had it before they stopped accepting it. Found out that's not true. Upon movement these people completed scammed me. They turned me into a credit agency for inaccurate charges. I spoke to a new manager that assured me that it would be corrected and I would even get my deposit back. That was not done. So now they have a new manager Joel who is as rude as they come. He stated that if I didn't have it in writing that it would not be honored as that manager no longer works for the company. After getting nowhere with this apartment complex I drove to corporate (Dallas) to speak with the corporate office. The person I need to talk to was in Houston at the time. (Go figure) But I’m told the manager still works for them but at another location but she is on maternity leave. I was charged $275 for full paint…Nothing was wrong with the paint. I was charged $200 for days I did not live there. Said there is no proof I moved out on apartment complex when I stated that I did even though I turned in and written notice. Charged for keys and lock changes of $50. The key was turned in. Charged for trash $100. Nothing was left in the apartment.
First of all, do NOT rent here... I have lived here for 3 years and I will NOT be renewing my lease. Don't let the manager's replies fool you because they are all lies ... There is no security here. There may be a 9pm curfew, but it is definitely not enforced. They say to go to the office and speak to the manager but 1. She is rarely there 2. She doesn't care. I have turned in multiple photos of the drug activity, loud drinking parties until 3 am, attempted theft and vandalism, so if they are "correcting the situation" why does it still continue ? All of the recent reviews are 100% correct. Drug trafficking, prostitution, vandalism, theft, loud music and drinking parties until 3 am. If you like this type of lifestyle then this is the place for you... I work every day and pay my rent - I am not on public housing assistance and I want peaceful habitation which is my right as a tenant and they definitely do NOT provide that.
Houston is big, like an "apartment-on-every-corner" kind of big. So it's easy to imagine how overwhelming it can be when looking for an apartment. I stumbled upon Aldeia West, actually after just leaving another complex I had given a deposit to. I wasn't particularly thrilled with that other place, but succumbed to the pressure of finding somewhere to live and chose to settle. I decided to check out Aldeia West and I am so glad that I did! Instantly I fell in love with the community. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Between the resort style pool, newly finished yoga studio/gym, multiple grill stations, it was perfect. When I actually toured the apartment itself, I knew I had to live here. Everything was brand new and top-of-the-line. Stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, beautiful hardwood floors, a huge walk-in closet, and a laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer. Immediately after finishing the tour, I called the other place and cancelled my deposit, filled out an application, picked a move-in date and paid my deposit at Aldeia. I have loved living here. It's in a great location; five minute drive to the Interstate which makes commuting easier, it's close to great shopping and restaurants. It's also a quiet community, located in the middle of the suburbs. I love calling this place home, and think anyone looking to move should consider doing the same.
Ive been living in Linda Vista Apt for six months already and i love the atmosphere. Despite the negative reviews i saw online and the negative things people told me i still decidex to move here and see for myself. Since i've lived here i have had no problems at all. Very nice ugraded apartments you will love to make a home.

First I must say these apartment are so well kept, the manager are ok, and the community itself is pretty flowers in the front its just real welcoming when you turn into the complex. Second I must say the inside is VERY nice everything is modern and up to date, nice all black appliances everything is just perfect here, I love it here.!
This is my first apartment complex to live in coming from a house and it's been great. Lovely staff and beautiful building! Specious apartment and great location
Remodeled from the inside out, very calm, childcare on site to any and all residents, as well as church every week!! Also every third weekend of the month the church and leasing office provide moonwalk, free haircuts, food,& the word og God!!! Linda vista is a very welcoming place, everyone who lives and works on site makes you feel comfortable and proud to call linda vista home not to mention everyone here gets along and become family
My apartment was broken into on July 4th, everything was stolen. 6 months later another attempted break-in/home invasion, I was there!! 3 guys tried to get in, one claimed to the 2nd floor and kicked the back door in. I started screaming and called 911. And they never returned my first deposit. Horrible, Horrible place to live; if you value your life or property, dont move in Linda Vista !!!
This area is not what I thought it would be. The apartment itself is lovely. Very spacious. Very clean. The staff is amazing as well. But cars have been broken into and things off of my friends' car has been stolen.
