Property Ratings at Linden Court Manor
I lived here for 10 years and my experience was very positive which is why I stayed so long. I lived on the top floor so didn't have to worry about neighbors above me making noise. I was fortunate enough to have good neighbors below and across the hall. I never had any issues with any of my neighbors (they were single women like me with no kids). There are only 2 apartments per floor which is great for noise reduction. The initial superintendent that management got rid of was horrible. He was replaced by Ram who is the best. He responds very quickly to maintenance issues and has a great attitude. After 8 years with no pest issues, I had an issue with mice. I must've caught 8 total. Really disgusting. Usually, once per month, an exterminator will make random visits to the property and will ask if have pest control issues. I wish he had been available when I had my mouse problem. Plenty of spacious parking. Very convenient area: walking distance to train and downtown shops and eateries. Also, close to major highways like NJ turnpike and Parkway. I definitely felt safe while residing here. I moved because I got married and bought a house in PA. I do miss the convenience of the area especially proximity to train station. Great for people who work in NYC.
To keep it brief: ants, spiders, loud floorboards, not soundproof so the train will keep you up at night, water temperature changes on its own, water pressure changes on its own, water color has turned brown three times in six months, the heater changes on it's own so one night it's too hot and I need to crack open a window and the next night it's too cold, no temperature indicated on oven so baking anything is a hassle, appliances are old. The building super is very unreliable and does a poor job returning calls. The entire management team just seems unprofessional. This apartment is overpriced and I wouldn't advise anyone living here.
Terrible management! The train track noise will keep you up as the apartments is right next to the train. The appliances are all old and disgusting ( gas range and refrigerator are cream colored) and management never wants to replace anything, all they care about is to just get the rent, call them for issues and they give you the run around. During the Winter time heat is barely enough to circulate across your apartment and hot water barely runs. Sometimes packages get missing cause it got stolen. Save yourself the headache and Just stay away!!!!!
Living at 208 East Elizabeth Ave Apt B3B has been the best decision I have made. I came from a city that is overcrowded with crime on a day to day basis. Everyday when I walked out my door I had to worry and look over my shoulder to and from my car. However moving to Linden Manor has taken a heavy burden off my shoulder. Yes crime is everywhere, but the peace of knowing that I have moved into a complex were everyone looks out for one another, you don't have to worry about individuals hanging around on apartment steps. Everyone gets in there car and proceed to there destination. I love living at Linden Manor, a place i proudly call home. The rental staff is pleasant. When you have problems in your apartment, they are right on it. The property is keep nice and clean. A place one can always feel safe.
