Property Ratings at Linden Lane Apartments
The apartment itself is okay, insulation isn't the best, lots of drafts, but the property is covered everywhere in dog poop
The apartment itself is good, sadly the entire complex grounds are always covered in dog poop.
My wife and I are wrapping up our second year here. Having lived elsewhere we can say that the management team is the most consistent, polite, helpful, and friendly we've ever worked with. The maintenance team is the same and we appreciate how hard they work to keep the neighborhood looking great. If you are looking for a smoke-free neighborhood in the Puyallup area, we highly recommend Linden Lane Apartments.
I really enjoyed living here at Linden Lane. The only reason I will be moving is to be closer to my Significant Other. Property management deserves 5 stars for communication alone. They are responsive to all needs and each month they send out a newsletter. The property is always clean and overall quiet. I am a single mom with an autistic child and I want to be in a safe environment and I was able to find that here. Maintenance has always been polite and I don't think I ever waited for anything. One of the reasons I moved here is to be in a smoke-free environment due to allergies.
All-in-all a very nice place to live. Property always kept in great shape. Smoke-free which is perfect. Currently in a 2-bedroom and moving to a 3-bedroom to accommodate both kids, hopeful 3-bedroom is as nice. Maintenance with any issues very prompt and professional. As others have alluded, can be louder than ideal, mostly due to poor insulation between floors it seems. Nice enough little gym, movie theater a definite plus. Fresh cookies daily (good thing there is a gym!)
These look nice, but once you live here you can hear your neighbors (above, below, and to the sides) talk in plain voices. It's much worse when there are loud neighbors. I have lived in a few apartments and the insulation is very poor too and does not protect from the weather or noise. The Management is so out spoken....to the point of being harassing. My advice is don't live here.
cons: pool is suppose to be heated but is kept so cold it cant be used any of the few months its open. walls are super thin. safety concern; no speed bump between two child play areas, when we brought up to management they said someone had already been hit by a car but they still didn't fix the problem. management sends out monthly "newsletters" that tell everyone what they are doing wrong. Patrick the manager is a total jerk, most tenants avoid him. Fridge is small and loud. carpet is pulling apart from the edging and has nails sticking up, (this is in most of the units we visited there). BEWARE: we paid $1300 in pet deposits/ cleaning fees when we moved in, $675 was refundable, we got $32 back, we reasonably expected around $550 back and were totally shocked! Guess we are the un-lucky ones to pay for the pre-existing carpet problem. pros: nice location. ladies in the office are nice. pretty safe area. loved the full size washer and dryer. offer short leases
After moving across the country and putting a deposit down site unseen, my boyfriend and I could not be more thrilled. Not only is the place beautiful and clean, the people are so friendly and helpful. Having never been on the west coast, we can use all the advice we can get. It's the people here that have made this transition that much easier. AND it's puppy friendly!! Our little family has a beautiful new home here at Linden Lane!
We moved from a large but old house to these apartments, and we were worried about the smaller space and closer neighbors, but these have turned out to be non-issues. The units feel spacious and comfortable, especially on the top floor with the vaulted ceilings. The apartments are very new (2012) and have a modern, upscale atmosphere. The amenities are great (nicely equipped exercise room, large outdoor pool and spa, fresh cookies daily in the clubhouse) and the outdoor areas are well-kept with plenty of playplaces and a covered picnic area. We have had very few issues with neighbors, as most people in this small gated community are friendly and respectful. The one problem has been with noise from the pool, which we live directly above. It is open until 10pm, and there have been some instances of people making a lot of noise right up until then, and sometimes staying even later. The upside is, the management here are very responsive and helpful, and do their best to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. Overall we have been very pleased with our decision to move here.
The management is awesome, we've never had any problems! If something breaks they are quick to fix it and always respond to every request! Very clean and grounds are well kept!
