Roach infested, dirty halls, graffitti in elevators, trash in halls, lights out in halls.
This place is a dump, management doesn't fix anything, most street lights broken and problem with car thefts in the dark street, roach infestations are common, the elevator in our building broken for a week , so much fun walking to the fourth story , then the entry gates broken, one closed of with a chain ( never fixed) one broken for a few months and only false emails it gets fixed and nothing gets done. We live here four years and since it got a new owner this place went down hill in super speed. Let's not talk about months trash compactor broken . They call this luxury living?? I can go on and on. Think twice before signing a lease here , minus 5 stars rating

My apartment was decent but nothing special, yet it was priced as a luxury apartment. I enjoyed using the pool area, and the coffee was great. The current management does a very poor job managing the facilities, but there are a few good employees that work for the management company. Security is not good here, and the place is very loud at night (it’s next to a highway). Renters should be aware of any extra fees or charges made to their account. I had fees charged to my account that could not be explained, and no refund was given. I do not recommend getting an apartment at Cottonwood Lighthouse Point with the current management in place and at the current price point.
This place is a joke. My a/c broke within the 1st week. My faucet sprung a leak within the 1st month. They make you sign a 40+ page lease and then they don't enforce a single thing. I've smelled weed in my apartment from the tenant that lives above me. They claim in the lease that this is a "smoke free" complex. And yet when I have called to complain they say there is nothing they can do and to call the police. Well if I have to call the police then why is there a management company? The police should be the management company then, right? I don't want to have to call the police. I don't care if someone is smoking weed or cigarettes or whatever but can they do it on their balcony? I don't think that's asking too much. If you want some peace and quiet I suggest you get the top floor. Anything on the other floors and you hear every footstep from above. Unfortunately the top floor doesn't save you from the noise of the stairwell door slamming and the echo of the hallway. The parking is as bad as the other reviews have mentioned. The apartment itself is ok. Just ok. Nothing special. Low quality. Definitely NOT WORTH what they charge. The valet trash is not all that great as you would think. They don't pick up on Friday and Saturday. And if it's a holiday good luck trying to throw your garbage away on your own. The trash compactor becomes a dump. Overall the place is simply not worth the price.

Let me start with the fact that they have the guts to post on comments to call the office so they can resolve it ?? It’s a joke. Nothing is being resolved here speciallythe dog poop that’s juts everywhere , gates are broken all the time on top of it. Amenities are closed so they won’t tell you this when you are signing the lease but the club room is only open when the leasing office is. Guest you can only have 5 passes in the month and guest parking is still not guaranteed when your guest arrive for the amount of money you are paying here look somewhere else people that are living here are disgusting I truly don’t think they do full background checks on them. It’s also very loud the apartments are not build with a good soundproof. And once again if you don’t enjoy stepping on dog waist or seeing it or smelling it on daily basis don’t bother. They won’t ever solve anything as well.
People here don clean after their pets at all! Poop is laying around everywhere , pees in the elevator as well. Gates are always broken. Cars are getting broken into as well.

I really have no idea what year or time frame the fake individuals writing all these very nice reviews live in, but clearly it isn’t linden pointe or preciously known as Jefferson lighthouse point. Alright where do I start .. the gates are broken 10 months out of the year, the hallways smell like dog urine and there are bugs everywhere crawling on the walls, the elevators are never cleaned so they decided to put some air fresheners to hide the wrenching smell, service techs ride along the golf carts all day and stare at everyone while taking 2 days to address an issue in an apartment, if you insist on a call before anyone enters your apartment good luck with that because they will enter after few knocks and yell out “maintenance” you can be in the shower, you can be sleeping, doesn’t matter they’re inside now, my all time favorite has to be the bi monthly walk ins into our apartments. The office comes up with “ac filter check, fire extinguisher check, apartment cleaning check, vent clean up check, etc” basically for whatever reason they are in your personal space doing whatever they like while you are at work. So welcome to Linden Pointe where it’s a nightmare 24/7.

Parking is horrible, if you get back after 8/9 pm you will have to park a mile away. The staff is rude and will wait over a week to fix problems in your apartment. You can't have any visitors. Counting down till my lease is up.

DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER MOVING HERE! Terrible management. If you want to move out at the end of your lease, they don’t even notify you, so make sure to mark your calendars if you don’t want to extend your lease or else they will destroy you bank account, intentionally!!!! Also, don’t move here if you want to have visitors without getting their car towed. Terrible visitor parking situation and very limited. They have towed my car and many friends cars and it was nothing but a complete nightmare. Also, if you like to do laundry, the machines are either broken, leak, or make very loud noises and management won’t fix it for you. My boyfriend and I are very easy going people, easily pleased, and the team here was very hard to to keep that going. So many issues. True shame because the location is awesome, but I hear other places around are good, just NEVER MOVE HERE! Can’t wait to leave!

Do not recommend living here. A lot of crime, management is awful, and traffic from federal highway is extremely noisy. Water is not included in rent, and because of the extra charge the complex takes forever to post your total due for the month. Sometimes waiting until the day before it's due to finally tell you, which is extremely inconvenient. There is almost no guest parking and they start towing at 6pm, which sucks if someone is just coming over for dinner. Also way too pricey considering all the issues.

Parking is a disaster. Guest parking is 6 spots for 6 buildings and they tow overnight guests at 8am. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Be careful even applying to this place. Be 100% sure you want to live here before you make any transactions as they will not refund the many fees they add on top of everything. My experience was not a good one and I'm glad I chose somewhere else.

A single star is generous, heres the story. I have lived here for almost a year and every single one of my packages that Ive received, presents from family members out of the country, wedding invitations and Christmas gifts for loved ones have all been stolen, from my front door step. I decided to just get all my packages delivered to the office. I went to pick up an amazon package and when they handed it to me, the envelope was empty. They had nothing to say for this and two people even hid in the back. Our apt is on the top floor and has cracks in the ceiling and walls from the hurricane and they still have not come to fix. I will not be living here next year for the main reason that the staff is attrocious at handling situations, the "gated community" I am paying my hard earned money for is not gated at all, My car actually was stolen from the property and I feel that my little complaints have gone no way towards rectifying any of the above situations. Don't worry Ill be posting this all over the internet. DO NOT MOVE HERE, ITS NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR FRUSTRATIONS

I have been a resident at JLP for almost 2 years and I can honestly say it has been nothing but aggravation. Where to begin - poor parking, unruly neighbors, parties at all hours of the night, drugs/needles being found around my building, etc. For almost 2 years, the parking situation has been "in progress" with promises of improved parking for the residents. However, all they have done was remove the option for guest parking and limited the # of cars per apartment (1 BR, 1 car). Most recently, I had my car towed as my sticker was "on the wrong window" per the completely obnoxious towing company (who himself recklessly drives the complex at night). Per company policy and office management, the sticker was to be placed on the passenger rear window or front window/rear window. "As long as it's visible" was the statement from the office. However, despite my sticker being visible, my car was towed and I was expected to pay the fee. However, I have proof that many other cars have placed their stickers in the same spot, as well as many cars parked without stickers at all. For the price they charge to live here, I would expect much better accomadations. I have spoken to many other residents here with the same complaints. Unfortunately, there is no other outlet aside from online reviews to make these problems known. Overall, this apartment complex operates very poorly and I would not recommend anyone move here. I will be looking to move as soon as my current lease is up.

Lived here a year, was happy, but new management/policies are terrible and now I'm looking to move out. Have friends? Live somewhere else if you ever want them to visit. Tow company has free reign to tow anyone they want for $162 a pop. Towing company is located 30 minutes away. Dog poop everywhere.

So glad I found this apartment! Love the large closets and the friendly office staff. They reacted quickly after the hurricane came through! Definitely feel safe here.
New Property Manager seems to really be working hard on this Property. I really like the location as its very close to my office in Boca and I don't have to pay Boca rents! I was worried about the some of the negative reviews from last year, but the staff has a construction team out here working now on adding additional parking spaces throughout the property. I have had my friends over without and parking issues. The staff responded well to the Hurricane, which I greatly appreciated as it was my first Hurricane. Neighbors on my floor are friendly and helpful too. I'm not sure how it was before, but I really like it here.
This is a new development and the apartments are so beautiful. I love the staff Aarianne and Macy are amazing, they were so helpful and very professional. They have a fitness center so now you don't have to pay gym membership and it's convenient.
Terribly community. They have just announced that due to their poor planning, we will not be allowed to have VISITORS. Thye do not care about their residents and only about making money. Avoid this community at all costs.
It is true, this community does NOT allot visitors to park. Unbelievable for the price of rent, mainly due to a lack of planning by builders and management - thy just wanted to make maximum profit. Your friends and family can not come over so do not bother even thinking about moving here .
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! I've had more issues here within the first few months than all other places I've lived combined. Issues include, but are not limited to: - Excessively loud guests: Blaring loud music & leaving your dogs out to bark for HOURS on end throughout late evening and very early morning is perfectly normal here. Forget about sleeping peacefully. - Dirty walkways: Regularly see animal excrement throughout the little walkway area this place actually has. - Pool area: Bugs are frequent visitors in and outside of the pool itself; if you're lucky, you may get a visit from an army of tadpole frogs too! As a bonus, they now restrict pool use to only half the day! - Electrical issues - Mail: Regularly delayed mail delivery - Parking space: Very limited and mismanaged If you value even maintaining a semblance of sanity in your life, look elsewhere! Don't even consider this place. It's more trash than normal, let alone 'luxury'. Former/current residents: If you are viewing this page, please leave a review.
The staff is amazing! Macy & Lisa were so helpful!! The apartments are so perfect and luxurious, it's impossible to not feel at home. When you then add in the amenities and location, you couldn't ask for better!!!

I pick this place do to price and what I received for that price. I just moved down to the area and look at a lot of places, but this one had nice big bed and bathrooms and stainless steel kitchen. Out of the all the others in the area they have a great office staff here as well. This would be a good choice.
I just moved down to the pompano Beach Fl area from the Midwest. I look at a lot of places, but chose the Jefferson Lighthouse point apartments. They had the best deal out of the rest of the apartments in the area. You get more for your money with large closets and bedrooms as well as bathrooms, get a nice island in the kitchen with usb power plug in which into days world comes in handy. All and all the office staff is great and you get a nice brand new apartment complex to live in.
