Known for rugged hills and rolling countryside mixed with developed areas called boroughs, the southern portion of Allegheny County remains a beautiful compliment to nearby city life in Pittsburgh. Located about 14 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, it takes about an hour to reach the city's center. One of Pennsylvania’s largest areas, South Allegheny consists of several towns and suburbs set in an idyllic landscape. Great destinations include historic Kennywood Park, which first opened in 1899 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Property Ratings at Lindenbrooke
I have lived here for the past three years. I have had a total of two summers here so far. The pool has only been available for approximately a month and a half per each year. Also people take their dogs don’t clean up the poop I took out my trash, one time and walked through a pile of poo over a yr ago the yard is still the same. I have reported rodents in the yard still there they don’t follow up. Apt next door caught on fire and I have never once been asked if I was affected by it The guy two stories above was and last I heard he moved out due to no compensation then put someone else above the apt knowing the one above it was affected. I can go on…

There is a reason why they have 52 units available. They are kicking people out who do not live in a renovated unit. They are negligent when it comes to addressing things with the residents that are currently living there. Be prepared for bugs, people speeding through the parking lot, renovating noises all hours of the day and night, and some cheap company they hired to go in and out of the buildings every single day. They also do not respect any property in the parking lots and they don’t let you know when there is work being done. So many better options.

Hello! Thanks for taking the time to review us. We always appreciate resident feedback. We care a great deal about all residents and do our best to show that each day. Please contact us at leasing-lindenbrooke@rentberger.com or (412) 426-3346 so we can discuss these issues further.
Was a resident in the community for 5 years. Rating it one star with how I was treated when I left the community. My lease was not renewed citing planned renovations. Even though they said that they couldn't renew my lease, they were not ready to let me vacate a month early and I had to pay the rent for the last month too. They also deducted $130 for cleaning and 3 drip pans that apparently cost $10 a piece. Stay away if you want to avoid $60 monthly charges that increase your rent, unreasonable yearly percentage increases (I had 10%), crazy utility bills in the winter because of lousy insulation, and ridiculous charges towards your security deposit.

Thank you for this great review! We strive to give excellent customer service and love to hear about when a member of our team is able to provide that.
I was prepared to love Lindenbrooke. I had a great experience my first month here, and I THOUGHT the property was nice and quiet. But now they've been remodeling the apartment above mine for the past two and a half weeks, sometimes starting with power tools as early as 7 am. They even turned off the water with only a 5 minute warning during the remodeling. Obviously I understand that apartments have to be updated, but this is ridiculous. I work nights and I can no longer guarantee that I'll get any sleep before a power tool or a hammer is making ridiculous amounts of noise right above my head at 7 am.

New ownership didn’t do a very good job at communicating with residents. Raised the rent for the same outdated and overpriced apartments. Added ridiculous monthly fees and make sure to read the pet fee as well!

We apologize that you have not been totally satisifed with your experience with us. Our rental increases are in line with the current market. If you would like to discuss this more we would be happy to speak with you-leasing-lindenbrooke@rentberger.com or (412) 426-3346.
Some people really liked it here, but it's just not worth the monthly rent. It's way too high for what the place is. Basic unit maintenance doesn't seem to be done and some shoddy looking repairs get done and it looks awful. Plus everything is very outdated. They only upgrade if you agree to pay for it. The other thing is for a long time there was a very strong natural gas smell outside, there are constant leaks and they go on for months without fix. The gas spreads far away from the buildings. Very dangerous! Plumbing problems are very common too... backs up into the tub and sink. The location is nice, they take good care of the land, and the pool is a big plus though. See for yourself, but I don't suggest it.

Give us a call or email us at leasing-lindenbrooke@rentberger.com or (412) 426-3346.
I just renewed my lease at LindenBrooke apartments and am very happy at my current living facility. The area and premises are quiet and peaceful, the office staff of Scott and Jack are their for my needs if things do arise. Great maintenance staff the is reliable, efficient and friendly. Having lived at a so-called luxury apartment by the mall, for what I was paying did not quite measure up to my standards. My former apartment had drafty windows, unfriendly staff and the facilities were not taking care of concerning a clean apartment complex. I plan on staying here at LindenBrooke for quite sometime and I am very happy with my decision.

Love living here , everyone is so nice and friendly. All the guys in maintenance are awesome ,anytime I call for anything they are here to help even if it's a minor thing. What a beautiful place to live and have your dog by your side as you walk the grounds or a nice walk on. the trail Not a day goes by walking with Oliver that Scott, Keith, Chris or Greg and Jay to wave and say Hi to us .You will know what a wonderful place it is to live here if your dog loves the people who work very hard here and even without a dog. Feels like home everyday. Scott goes out of his way to make living here a great place to live. Thank you to all of you guys for everything and being so kind.??

Thank you for this kind review! We love hearing about a great experience on the property. The team works so hard to ensure our residents have a great place to call home.
Very nice property, well maintained. There is not a non-smoking policy, though, and if you have a neighbor who smokes, even downstairs, you know quick that they lit up. If you are sensitive to it, or have allergies to it, this might not be your place. :(
In a city of great views, this building is the grandest. Every season offers a postcard panorama of nature's splendor. Each deck brings the outdoors in. All practical needs are met by a caring and efficient staff that is only a phone call away. It's vacation every day.
Beautiful view. Quite. Maintenance is prompt to respond. Spacious. Lots of parking. Great staff. Lots of amenities.
I moved into this apartment as a middle aged adult after living in a townhome. I thought that I would feel awkward going into an apartment however..I quite love it! I am on the bike trail...near the trolley and I am surrounded by trees yet I am close to everything. The building itself is well maintained and basically sound proof. Maintance is around quickly and the landscape is done beautifully! I feel like I am at a resort. The best part is the privacy that is felt in the community. I feel safe. The apartment is just the right size with a lot of natural light. Rent for life would definitely help me out at an older age....thanks
we moved here 6 yrs ago and haven't regretted once. having 3 young adults in the apt. it could be mighty crowded the apt. comes with free water which is good because with 3 young adults , after a night of partying having the water drown your body it pays to have free water. As far as the maintaince nce dept.goes you call them and their there. They come and and paint every 5 years and clean your carpets . There are also balconies or ground floor patios There is walking distance to transportation and a slew of of eating esblishments.s
Great place swimming pool a d walking trails.Great .a agree t dogs llwed
I love living at Lynnbrooke because it feels like home. Everyone from the resident manager, maintenance staff and grounds manager work tirelessly to insure the safety and comfort of every tentent. I could not have found a better location for me I'm close to all the things that are important to me, my Church, public transportation, stores and a fabulous view overlooking a wooded walking trail. I have called Lynnbrooke home for 10 years and I hope to continue to call this home for many years to come. Thank you
I have been living here for a few months now and its perfect. All maintance requests are completed quickly. Neighbors are all nice and there is never a lot of noise if any. They keep the grounds looking great and you can tell they put time into it. They are constantly upgrading the complex too. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, quiet, spacious place to live with no hassles.
