Property Ratings at Links at Citiside
My apartment is very spacious for what I needed plus more! Staff is funny to speak with and positive. Love it here
The property needs serious renovation. Some buildings are better than others of course and some units within some buildings. Be sure to look for dead cockroaches and trash outside in hallways. Be sure to look at several buildings on the property and not just the ones mgmt takes you to. Neighbor is not safe. Pool is too small for number of residents and is a magnet for the whole of Charlotte to hang out at night because it's easy access. We turned in our notice in the legally required timeframe and mgmt tried to say we didn't so they could charge us. Ha! We had a video AND a signed document from office staff with date and time that we turned in our vacate notice. Mgmt was petty and withheld money from our security deposit for a damaged living room (balcony) window screen and missing balcony post. Both incidents happened when building was power washed. Area not worth the rent. If you HAVE to live here, try to move in on a rent special and move out when it expires because the rent will go UP.
The ENTIRE community staff is extremely friendly and helpful and they always answer the phone when you call the office which is a sad rarity I am finding in Charlotte. The community is rich in diverse residents most of whom are either very friendly or keep to themselves. The apartments are under new management and are gradually taking care of any "problem" residents and imposing fines on residents who negatively affect the community. And the new management is making beautiful changes to the apartments, the office, and the community in general. The office staff is VERY AMENABLE to working with residents regarding any particular special needs. They are wonderfully pet friendly and the location is pretty much central and convenient to most everything in Charlotte! Terrific value for the location and the apartments themselves!
This place is disgusting do not go there idc what's your reason you'll find something better. Trash dumbed on the curb instead of the compactor, roaches, break ins, shootings smh ???????
I have lived at The Links for 2 years now and can honestly say it is definitely a great complex. My one bedroom is plenty big for one person. I have heard of things happening in the complex but have not seen or been affected. I love being so close to uptown and PLAZA MIDWOOD! I plan to renew my lease in two months! The new management team is great as well.
I moved here just a month ago, when I first got here there was some minor things I wasn't too happy with. I spoke with the office and they had someone come over right away to take care of it. It's a nice neighborhood, for the most part very quiet. The apartment are spacious and I look forward to being here for a while. This is my first apartment and I think it's perfect for me. Thank you.
I have a one bedroom apartment here and it is so, so much nicer than other 1br's in the Charlotte area. It's 700sqft but it feels HUGE. The rooms are sleek, clean and have a nice modern feel. PLENTY of space for all you would want and a cute balcony too! I chose this complex because of how nice their apartments are for the price but also because of their great location. You can get to I-85, Uptown Charlotte, Noda, etc really quickly. We're talking 10-15 mins from everything you could possibly want in Charlotte life. Probably the third best thing besides the apartment and location would be the great management here. The management is so friendly and nice and willing to work with you in so many situations. As a fresh college graduate living on his own for the first time, I'm glad I have somewhere this nice for the price and location with a management team behind me to help me figure out thing I am just now learning and experiencing. I would definitely recommend living here!
The inside of the apartment is nice and upgraded. However my car has been ransacked and I've only been here for a month. I haven't had any other issues besides that. Oh and there isn't a lot of storage space. But a great balcony.
I originally looked at the two bedroom unit and found that the second bedroom was entirely too small for a roommate. I then moved into a one bedroom unit and I LOVE IT! The living room is the perfect size, my closet in massive (my mom jokes that it'll be her "bedroom" when she visits), and I have tons of storage space. I was a little nervous about the surrounding area, but the complex is very very safe. I am a single female that works night shift, and I never feel like I have to run to my car. I wish we were a little closer to shops so that we could just walk, but you cannot complain when you are 5 minutes from NoDa and Plaza Midwood and your rent is less than half of what people are paying to live in those neighborhoods. Seriously, less than half. The leasing agents are also great to work with.
I'm about 5 minutes from Noda and 10 minutes from Plaza Midwood. The complex itself is pretty clean and the pool is nice. The balconies are pretty large with the 2 bedroom units. There is a fair amount of traffic in the front, but the units in the back don't have that issue. Units are in good shape and the bathrooms are large. There is also a lot of countertop space and cabinets in the kitchen.
