Property Ratings at Litchfield Oaks Apartments
The apartment above me is being remodeled which sounds great but is a nightmare for me. I work from home M-F so I wish I was notified due do the amount of construction needed during the day. But the worse part is they work until past 11PM every night…….it’s horrible cant relax due to the consistent loud noises which keeps everyone awake and has the dogs in the building going crazy all night. It’s a nightmare management have absolutely no consideration for anyone here.
Kendall and Tricia are always so helpful. The maintenance crew is on point all the time!
i’ve been here for about a month now and I have to say that Skip and Jonny are two of the best maintenance men that I have ever run across!! Any little small thing that has needed to be done has been taken care of very quickly, professionally and well done!! Everybody is always willing to help and Kendall is amazing!

This property quickly rose to the top of our list after our visit. The location is great and the grounds and amenities are very well kept. We met a couple of employees and several residents who were all so friendly. This is such a welcoming place! Kindle, who works in the office, showed us around and was very professional, patient, and kind to me and my daughter despite our many (oh sooo many) questions. We will definitely be checking back with her for apartment availability when we are ready to make our move.
I recently came by to get information about these apartments as i’ve been looking into moving into the area. The properties all appeared to be clean and well maintained, and the staff was wonderful. I spoke with Kindle primarily and she was very knowledgeable and helpful with my questions. Definitely one of the better experiences i’ve had in my search so far.
I am a retired Law Enforcement officer from Georgetown County and was looking for a secure, clean place for my mother to live. After renting a condo in the area I thought was great it was not. Every time I found a place for mom to live the owners put it on the market for sale after a year or so. Wanting to have mom settling in we were not going to move her over and over at her age. Now she is very happy in Litchfield Oaks and getting settled after six months there. They are very helpful in anything that she has needed for repair the come out within a day or two if not sooner. The staff (maintenance man) is aways stopping by just to say hello to her and she loves it. P. Benincasa

This apartment complex caters to pretty much everyone. There's apartments with small families, the elderly, and young professionals both single and married. The small community is very inclusive with a pool and grill area that all are welcome to enjoy and use for socializing. The local restaurants and bars offer a great place to relax, party, or watch the game. The club house offers weekly, monthly, and seasonal activities that are catered to the diverse age demographic in the complex. The aesthetics of the complex as a whole are visually pleasing through all of the seasons. The apartments themselves are put together quite nicely and offer a comfortable living space for those from all walks of life. The apartments are pet friendly and the complex has a clean and useful dog park as well as stations containing doggy bags all around. The people at the club house will bend over backwards to assist you and are very friendly. The maintenance crew usually gets requests done within a day or two and usually within 24 hours if its an emergency. The only negative about this place is the price. Litchfield Oaks would get 4.5 stars if it were an option on this site.
Litchfield Oaks is not only island beautiful, but a community that values the residents and their safety! Swaying palm trees, sparkling lakes, and coastal birds greet you upon entering the grounds. Property managers are always hands-on and ready to help with any problem or question. The physical beauty is only the beginning of what Litchfield Oaks has to offer. Residents enjoy spacious and bright apartments, whether one is single or has a large family. The unique apartments have screened in balconies that can overlook the salt water pool or at the towering oak trees. Another asset to this coastal community is that pets are considered family members! There are designated pet walk areas and a shady doggie park. Residents may exercise in the inviting workout room or jog along the tree covered sidewalks. These places are just a few of the many opportunities to meet your neighbors. Litchfield Oaks has scheduled seasonable activities every month. These include book clubs, pool-side barbecues, safety classes, pet contests, movie nights, special dinners and more. There is no question that Litchfield Oaks provides a unique living experience for those requiring "the good life" in apartment living.
Litchfield Oaks is a very good place to start when moving to the Pawleys Island or Murrells Inlet area! It has an awesome dog park that you can take your dog to so that it can run around and play. The apartment complex has a nice size pool and a personal gym that all the residence get to use. The people who head the department make sure we residence have many opportunities to get together and bond as well; Between cookouts and book clubs, as well as some awareness meetings, they keep us entertained! Maintenance is also always on top of things when something goes wrong. I decided to resign for another year because I'm fully satisfied and impressed with Litchfield Oaks!
Litchfield oaks is the he best apartment I've ever stayed in. The staff is always there when you need them, and they are very friendly and understanding. Our neighbors are very nice and honest. They also aren't loud and are courteous to other people surrounding them. Our apartment is up to date, nice living room, bathrooms, rooms and kitchen. If someone were to ask me a great place to live I would of course choose Litchfield Oaks.
I believe our apartment "home" is very well laid out. We also have an end unit which gives us an additional window in our bedroom while the other window opens on to the screened porch which makes it possible to open in inclement weather. We also have a unit that faces out which gives us a fire place that we just love and enjoy all winter long.
A great community to live in that has a excellent staff that will move bridges to make your stay at the complex the best possible experience.
This has become a perfect place for me to live. Activities on going in complex, such as book club, and cook outs, wonderful staff, close proximity to the beach, shopping, dining. Very friendly residents and pet friendly. Maintenance always available. I could not be happier.
The rooms are spacious. Closets are huge. Maintenance personnel are on site & response is very timely. The 2 women in the office are extremely friendly & helpful with any questions. Lived here 1 year so far & we love it. Quiet & peaceful. Nice place to live.
