Property Ratings at Littleton Apartments
Decent neighborhood, the cops come here and there once in awhile but I don't break the law so that doesn't bother me. Pretty quite and chill most of the time. The apartment is slightly remodeled and has a decent looking kitchen. The carpeting is old but at least they clean them before you move in. The building is fairly safe. There are security doors that you need a card to get into. During the day the doors remain open/unlocked but are locked at night and on weekends. Security cameras also help me feel safe here. There is a park across the street that would be nice except for the people who walk thier dogs there and don't pick up after them. At least one washer and/or dryer is broken at all times. All in all not a bad place to live, they have recently raised prices and for what we pay here we can pay at another, nicer complex with a pool and washer/dryer in our own apartment.
The apartments at 343 W. Powers PL may look remodeled and up to date. Don't be fooled, the wiring for the Internet is not hooked up in a single room in my apartment. The rent here used to be reasonable when we moved in two years ago, it has gone up to we'll over twelve hundred dollars a month. For a place with no pool, or receipt room. Internet is included, but it hardly ever works. Building maintenance here is a joke. I had raw sewage coming out of my kitchen sink for a week before anything was ever done about it. Promise park right across the street is a meeting place for local drug dealers. On several occasions I've been walking my dogs and I've found syringes and drug paraphernalia laying out in the open where ant child could get too. The police are an ever present force here, either arresting someone at the park or inside the apartment building arresting someone. All in all I could put up with most of this if the rent were lower, but that's not the case. The rent at these apartments continues to climb while the condition of the apartments stays the same. That being said I would not recommend to my friends or family to move in to these units.
