The mix of cosmopolitan flair and low-key atmosphere once led LA Weekly to speculate that North Hollywood just might be the best place to live in the Los Angeles area. This community has become popular among artists, writers, filmmakers, and actors seeking balance between easy access to Hollywood and a quieter, more suburban home environment.
The local food and bar scene is robust, and the bohemian vibe of the NoHo Art District attracts all manner of offbeat creative types. Uncommon among Los Angeles-area communities, much of North Hollywood is quite walkable, with food, drinks, galleries, and performance venues just a leisurely stroll away from one another. Thankfully for renters, all of the perks of this location come at a relatively affordable cost. Most renters pay an average of $2,282 to rent in North Hollywood, about $500 less than the Los Angeles average.

Property Ratings at Living at NoHo
Affordable spot in a fairly central part of LA! Great first apartment for newcomers to the city!
Overall my living situation here has not been horrible, however the location of my apartment is on a busy street & i have witnessed a lot of violent activity from my balcony.
Living at NoHo is great. I love my apartment layout and the overall location. The amenities are always clean and inviting. The application and move-in process was simple and I felt supported every step of the way. I’m so excited to be a part of this community and look forward to making this my home for a while.
It’s been two months since we moved to Living at NoHo. And I can honestly say we made a great choice. The community is great. Staff are friendly and helpful/readily available. And our apartment is beautiful. It has been really peaceful so far. Hopefully, we can make this home for years to come!
I love the community here. All of our neighbors are the kindest people, the maintenance team and employees in the office are the same. Helpful and friendly. Thanks for making my experience here amazing!
So far enjoy residing here maintenance and office team have been good to work with.
Living at NoHo is situated in a central, very upbeat, well kept neighborhood. I feel safe here with my kids so far. The actual apartment has a spacious layout. It’s updated. The appliances are beautiful. I really enjoy having a washer and dryer. The apartment also comes with two parking spots. But I think management and security are the best features of all though. I think we made a good decision as of now.
My living experience so far has been good . Location is walkable to everything , close to schools and highways . The community itself is clean and the maintenance crew is consistently keeping the exterior and common areas clean .
We are living here since 14 years. We are very happy. The office team is very helpful and nice . Monique app 310 ( Imperia)
My 5 1/2 year old son and I have lived at Living at NoHo for almost 1 1/2 years now, and we have really loved the experience. The unit we have is spacious and altho it's clear Greystar has chosen cheap materials for a lot of the space, the maintenance team here is the best, kindest, most efficient of any place I've ever lived... haha, I'm almost grateful that Greystar cuts corners so much ;). Kidding. I wish they invested more in their buildings and staff, but I don't wanna say too much negative stuff and risk being censored. I also love the location and my neighbors and all of the community events our leasing office puts on for us. I wish the elevators and call box worked more consistently, but I know that's a vendor issue... just a bummer that these basic amenities seem to be broken down more than they are working properly. But I know that everyone in the main office is doing their best to attend to all these issues, and they really do a great job of building community and communicating when there are inconveniences. Especially T in the front office, she's the best!
This place sucks. The hot water stopped working for over 3 months. Management won’t follow up with you. Maintenance is constantly entering the apartment with no notice. The first 3 months I moved in, the building fire alarms went off over 5 times and we had to evacuate at 3am on a Sunday once. Just don’t move here. They suck.
I love living at NoHo! The location is wonderful and I am very happy with my apartment. The pool deck and BBQ area on the roof is really nice too!
So many issues with the elevators, cars/trucks parked in the garage where they shouldn’t be, very thin walls, you can hear both your neighbors below you and especially above you, very outdated appliances, cabinets and flooring in my apartment than the unit I was showed when looking for a new apartment in the NoHo area. Really gross carpet in the hallways of the property. Construction and work on the buildings seems to be on going. Fire alarms constantly going off. I just wish it was a quieter and cleaner place.
Beautiful building and amenities located in a very central location. Too bad there are cockroaches everywhere.
I love living at here, Great community events, Friendly staff, great amenities, great location !!!
Great apartments, great facilities, better community
This place is great. The noise pollution is very bad.....
Great place to live with all great amenities! Clean, friendly staff, excellent safe location
I really like that the property is clean. Especially clean and fresh smelling elevators. It’s nice.
I’ve had my fair share of issues with this place but the most concerning is the elevators. This has been ongoing for the entire two years I’ve lived here. At least once a week, one if not two of the elevators are down. This is an 196 unit building so the single working elevator that’s left get packed (also it’s making a bad grinding noise). I honestly don’t feel safe here, as twice now I’ve been in the back elevator as it’s dropped on me and started shaking violently and not letting me and my man out. I’ve brought this to the leasing office countless times but they keep giving us the runaround and won’t give any specifics. The biggest red flag is that all the permits in the elevators have been expired for 3+ years. I’ve called 311 on them and reported multiple times but nothing gets fixed and it makes me so uncomfortable. One guy in the office told me to take the stairs lol. I live on the sixth floor and suffer from asthma and pay a ton to live here. No thanks. I hate getting frustrated with individuals in community service but the leasing office here does nothing but constantly gaslight us. They don’t give us info, refuse to give us any higher management info, and then have the gall to send us a cease and desist for persisting on the issue, that should’ve been SOLVED A YEAR AGO when this was first brought up. This whole scenario is absurd and frustrating and the fact that they don’t understand the severity of it and the fact that it’s my home is just so appalling. All in all, this is not a luxury building. The elevators are always broken, people steal packages and leave the place a mess, the pool has been closed multiple times, they randomly charged me $130 for trash last month, then don’t take accountability or seem to care about their tenants, and their security is a joke of a dude who’s always on his phone, and they just upped rent $150. Live elsewhere, not worth the headache.
My living situation was fine until it rained. My apartment flooded 4 times before they did anything to address where the water was coming in from. They ripped open my walls and haven’t budged since. No compensation. Nothing to make this right with me.
The maintenance staff is excellent, and they are efficient when something needs to be fixed in our apartment. However, the building has a lot of maintenance issues. For example, the elevator in the lobby has been down for over one month and continues to be a nuance. There are safety issues and a lack of leasing office staff that take responsibility. The men's restroom in the gym has also been out of service for more than one month, and there are several problems with the upkeep of the building. All residents are tired, and everyone is complaining and dissatisfied.
Great building, great location, fun people, just don’t have a roommate move out mid lease or have property stolen.
I love living here except for the thefts. I’ve had 4 packages stolen in about 6 months of living here and one package opened in front of my door. I also woke up to a naked dude screaming on my balcony one night. He was arrested from there. If they could get security to make the place safer I would really love living here
A year ago we needed to find a place in LA remotely, which can be really challenging when moving to a new city. Sophia from the leasing office was really friendly and helped us find the apartment that we were looking for and was very helpful throughout move-in. Though the area can be a bit noisy, there are plenty of amazing restaurants around and we found the location to be great. We always noticed that the maintenance team works really hard to keep the grounds as clean as possible, so we appreciated that. Justin from the leasing office was so incredibly helpful and we appreciated all of his assistance. Great experience!
The maintenance is quick, and the office staff is friendly enough, and the gym is decent. On the other hand Its a total scam when it comes to the other amenities. The pool is listed as a heated pool on the website which is barely. The pool is set to 72 degrees (by the pump which does not seem to be the case for the pool itself) which seems nice but your common heated pool is between 78 and 82 so don't expect to have a leisurely nice swim, because in the winter its even colder. literally 5 degrees warmer than the beach here in summer which needs a wet suit in the summer..... the hot tub is apparently leaking so it makes this gurgling sound all the time because they can't keep the right amount of water in it, also is never hot, at best its a nice 90 something degrees on the lower end, sometimes I have gone in there and it is even lower think 80s. So if those are your selling points then I would find somewhere else. You will 100% hear your neighbors, but hopefully you have nice neighbors like mine.
From day one, the management team took us in with no appointment and hung around to get the whole experience!! Outstanding staff and lovely community! Can not wait to create new memories!!
Living at NoHo is a great community. Clean buildings with great location and a great staff
I hate this place and my car has been broken into for the second time recently and nothing is ever done to stop it. I sent an email about it and nothing happened not even a follow-up call. I think they need to step up security and put up cameras or fake camera but do something to stop them.
Great place to live. Apartments are modern, updated, and have great views all over. Location is great as well.
Dont move here. The staff is horrible and will ignore any and all maintenance requests. The residents are loud, and play loud music at the pool agains the rules, and the staff apparently wants it do be that chaotic all the time. Dont waste your hard earned money herelook for a place with better staff that values responsibility.
I enjoy living at this community. It is central to many things and is part of a vibrant neighborhood. The property is kept clean which is very important, and that makes it somewhere you want to come home to.
I love the fast and clean service Milano team executes when there is a maintenance need. In 2 - 24 hours of a service request, it's mission accomplished. I am a resident over ten years and this is consistent with my service experience.
The management is lazy and negligent with maintenanceto the point of gaslighting the residents.
Management here is terrible and something is always broken (i.e. elevators, A/C, door knobs, etc) Also, the building is filthy. There are a lot of dog owners here and there is always dog urine in the hallways and elevators and there are cockroaches all over the parking garage and some common areas. Safe yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
If you like to get half of what you pay for then move here now. If you like to smoke weed and smell them everywhere you go or whenever you open your window then here is for you. If you hate elevators and only use stairs then here is for you. (They are broken 90% of the time) if you like dealing with obnoxious people in the leasing office then here is for you. What else? I don’t have a whole day for this just move here already!
Stay away! The Management is crooked. The tenants are low class, uneducated loud and drunk. Everyone smokes marijuana and is on drugs. The worst experience of our lives. Illegal people live there and conduct under Management's watchful eye illegal rent schemes. The lowest class - the worst place ever. Loud, nasty. Stay away!
to expensive to live here im looking elsewhere the apartment was nice except for the fact that the pool is on the roof
