A close-knit community outside of Louisville

Quaint Suburban Community Small Business Commuter

Nestled less than 20 miles east of Louisville, the city of Anchorage is a quaint suburban oasis boasting a family-friendly atmosphere and a supportive community. Although this small town is mainly residential, there are a few locally owned businesses in town that give Anchorage a unique charm. When residents aren’t golfing or enjoying the trails, outdoor pool, or archery range at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park, you’ll find them at Whet Your Palette, a local art center, or grabbing a bite to eat at Selena’s at Willow Lake Tavern or the Village Anchor — known for its delicious Southern cuisine and sophisticated bar. Several shopping centers surround Anchorage, including the Springhurst Towne Center off Fischer Park Drive. Residents have easy access to Interstates 265, 71, and 64, so commuting to and from Anchorage is easier than ever.
