This dazzling coastal town is located off of the Gulf of Mexico, surrounded by the Long Bayou and the Boca Ciega Bay. Bay Pines is best known as being the home of the Bay Pines Veterans Hospital, which rests on the tip of the peninsula the town is located on. The town is also known for its scenic beaches and plentiful amount of marinas.

Naturally, beach trips are common here. Located next to the hospital, the War Veterans Memorial Park honors soldiers with monuments and offers a canoe trail, boat ramp, and boardwalk. Beaches along Boca Ciega Bay have fishing piers and boat ramps for watersports. If you’re lucky, you may even see some playful dolphins hopping out of the water. Locals also frequent Bicentennial Park for dog-walking and fishing. Bay Pines is truly a haven for anyone who loves being close to the water every day.
