The docks, mills, business and homes sprung up to accommodate the growth, and many of the current structures date back to that time.

Residents of the community bring their children to Imagine Children's Museum for a day full of fun and discovery. The museum features a rooftop playground, tree house, veterinary clinic, exhibits and restaurant. Price for admission runs about $10, and parking is limited to outside meters and paid lots.
