Outdoor Activities Lakes Family-Friendly Mountains

The young city of Bella Vista incorporated in 2007 and has rapidly increased in popularity since. Bella Vista’s natural beauty is a major draw. The city, located the base of the Ozarks, offers seven lakes and natural features such as the Tanyard Creek waterfall and the cavern and springs in Blowing Springs Park. Hiking and mountain bike trails are available in Blowing Springs Park, with additional trails in the Bella Vista Back 40 Trail Head and Tanyard Creek Nature Trail.

Situated along the Arkansas-Missouri border, Bella Vista is directly north of Bentonville. Ideal for commuters, Bella Vista provides a family-friendly environment in a hilly, wooded setting. Residents enjoy an outdoorsy lifestyle with opportunities for hiking, golfing, fishing, and camping. The Sugar Creek Center hosts the seasonal farmers market, filled with fresh local produce and other items. Bella Vista also hosts the annual Bella Vista Arts & Crafts Festival in October, which features more than 200 artisans.
