The quirky, artistic city of Berea is known as the Folk Arts and Crafts Capital of Kentucky. From painters and sculptors to weavers and instrument makers, artists of all kinds live and work in Berea. It borders the massive Daniel Boone National Forest, a beautiful destination filled with sandstone cliffs, lakes, and rivers, and providing activities like hiking, camping, and rock-climbing.
