Beverly Woods is a dreamy neighborhood. It is very safe and has great areas to get out and walk. Centrally located to many of Charlotte's best amenities, shopping and dining. It's about 2 minutes to a nice grocery store and shopping center. 8 minutes to almost any restaurant you want to go to. 20 min to Uptown. 20 min to Ballantyne. 40 minutes to University. Zoned for some of the best schools in the city. Lots of fully grown wooded lots. Mixed 1960's architecture including tri-level (split-level) and ranches. No house is identical though. Majority of neighbors keep their yards beautiful with pride. Everyone is warm and friendly. Diverse in age and SES (many people have lived here for 30+ years having purchased their home for around 100k), less diverse in ethnicity (predominantly white).
