Bloomfield is a small city in northwestern New Mexico, just outside the Navajo Nation Reservation. Rather secluded in the area’s stunning desert landscape, residents of Bloomfield enjoy ruggedly beautiful scenery and terrific access to outdoor recreation activities like hiking, mountain biking, and even boating at nearby Navajo Lake State Park. The region surrounding the city is full of magnificent Native American structures dating back hundreds of years, particularly the Salmon Ruins, Aztec Ruins, and Chaco Culture National Historical Park.
