Byram is a suburban city located just 20 minutes south of the state capital, Jackson. Interstate 55 runs through the edge of the city providing residents with easy access to the surrounding areas. If you’re looking for amenities within the city, South Siwell is the place to be with many of the city’s eateries and large stores located off this road. If you’re looking for fun activities, the Jackson Motor Speedway is a favorite among Byram residents.

The city’s crown jewel is the historic Byram Swinging Bridge. Once the only road from Byram to the other cities, the historic site is now a footpath that lets Byram residents take a look back into their history. There is even a festival that celebrates the bridge every year.
