Extending north and west along a bend in Lake Bradford Road, Callen is a small, cozy neighborhood with mature trees and attractive homes. Callen is convenient to Florida A&M University, the Seminole Golf Course and Club, the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, the Southeast Archaeological Center, the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, and the Robert White Williams Birding Trail. Florida State University is less than two miles north of Callen, and Downtown Tallahassee is roughly three miles northeast.
