Suburban Family-Friendly Commutes River University Museums Sports

Located on the southeast side of Youngstown, Campbell provides easy access to Downtown Youngstown and Youngstown State University. This suburban city borders the Mahoning River and features several parks. Campbell was formed in 1902, when the Youngstown Iron, Sheet, and Tube Company was established near the river. The city is in transition from industrial to the manufacturing and service industries. The warehouses of the old ironworks company is now an industrial park.

Situated about five miles from the Pennsylvania border, Campbell is about an hour northwest of Pittsburgh -- perfect for a weekend or evening visiting the attractions in the city. With less than three miles to Downtown Youngstown, Campbell residents can cheer on the Youngstown State University Penguins at Stambaugh Stadium or visit the city's many museums, including the Butler Institute of American Art and the John J. McDonough Museum of Art.
