Lived here in 95-97. Went to Emerson Elementary and University Heights Middle. I lived in Canyon Crest Apts. it was ok. I had busing for elementary and had to take the city bus to school in middle. I hated that. I wonder if the middle schools now have busing

The neighborhood is centralized in such a fashion in which the residents are never too far from where they need to go. The city is made very convenient with the short distances, as the longest drive to any destination is only 10 minutes. I don't see any negative influences in the neighborhood, so there's only improvement in the neighborhood's future.

It's really not a bad area but it's getting more crowded every year. It's ideally located, one hour from the mountains, beach and desert but traffic is horrible on the freeways so it usually takes longer than an hour. More homeless and petty crime seems to be on the increase. Very, very hot in the summer like the desert. Ready for a change to some cooler weather.

It's not that bad now but it is getting worse as the days go by. We had a break in next day the other day!!! We also had vandalism at our business and all of our neighbors business a few months ago.
