Carlisle has a very good community feel. It is very small, which has its negatives, but this contributes to that feeling of knowing everyone.

Carlisle is an overall safe and friendly town. Since it is small, it is easy to go to another place in Carlisle; however, since it is so small, it does not have major grocery stores or shopping areas, so you have to go to the next town, which is a commute of at least 15 minutes.

I personally really enjoy going to the Boston Sports Clubs, they have awesome workout facilities. They are all over the Greater Boston Area, and I think the price is really reasonable for what you are getting.

Transportation around my area is awesome. There isn't too much traffic, and if you want to get into the city it's very easy.
