The area is very nice if you have a family. The high schools around the area are one of the best in California such as Torrey Pines High School and Canyon Crest Academy. People around this area are very amicable and the weather is mostly nice year round.

I like Carmel Valley. There are a lot of things to do in the area, lots of good schools, and good parks. There are lots of trails to hike on in Carmel Valley. It has a very strong suburban vibe.

Pretty safe neighborhood with great schools around. However, the cost of living is extremely high and there's not a lot of diversity.
