Cathedral Square is a small, historic neighborhood in the heart of Downtown Providence. As its name implies, Cathedral Square is home to some of the oldest cathedrals in the nation and features gorgeous architectural styles including Gothic and Romanesque Revival. The neighborhood houses government and business offices as well as the Providence Public Library. Rentals in this charming, historic community range from affordable to upscale. Living in Cathedral Square places renters within walking distance or a very short drive of the city’s best restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues. In under 10 minutes, residents can walk to the Rhode Island Convention Center, the historic Providence Performing Arts Center, and the Dunkin' Donuts Center. Johnson & Wales University Providence Campus is also a short walk away from Cathedral Square.
