Located a few blocks west of Downtown Greensboro, College Hill is Greensboro’s oldest neighborhood. As its name implies, this historic neighborhood is home to Greensboro College and is located beside the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. College Hill’s proximity to two college campuses and Downtown Greensboro gives the neighborhood a vibrant, youthful feel. Similar to other college communities, the neighborhood is pedestrian-friendly so residents can easily walk to Tate Street for a slice of pizza or to grab a cup of coffee with friends. For some of the city’s best shopping, dining, and entertainment options, head east to Elm Street, a bustling thoroughfare in the heart of Downtown Greensboro.
