Situated just 19 miles east of Chattanooga, Collegedale is a Tennessee suburb that’s quickly growing into an identity all its own. Home to Southern Adventist University, Collegedale has an even mix of families, professionals, and students who have helped bring in new businesses and a new chapter for the community. Outside of the university, there’s plenty of green space and charming rentals to see. In the northern section of the neighborhood you’ll find popular coffee bars, tea rooms, and burger joints, all perfect for hungry families and college students.

There’s an emphasis on the outdoors in Collegedale. The whole area is surrounding by forest, and there are six parks for residents to enjoy, including Collegedale Dog Park. Those in search of more nightlife or the attractions of the city only have to drive 30 minutes via I-75 to end up in nearby Chattanooga.
