Located about five miles southeast of Downtown Los Angeles, Commerce is a relatively small city by LA standards, home to only about 13,000 residents. The city became the 67th in Los Angeles County in 1959, and today it is an attractive community with beautiful mountain views and palm-tree-lined streets. It is home to the very popular Commerce Casino and the equally popular Citadel Outlets, a large shopping plaza located off the Santa Ana Freeway.
